The staff were the friendliest I have encountered in years. Absolutely great!

Our flight was delayed for almost 2 hours resulting in a rush to connect to our next flight

Good. Would be better if the carry on baggage was free.

Flight cancelled and Kayak switched our return flight to a red eye. Ridiculous.

Westjet is one of the worst airlines in the world. 100% guaranteed to have flight delays and flight cancellations. Will never book again with Westjet.

Limited water service in a 6 hour flight offered at the very beginning and end of the flight.

They delayed flight because lack of staff then missed connection. Never flying with kayak or weather

WestJet claims that tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as you kayak) they cannot make sure they mention the luggage situation. We purchased tickets that wouldn’t allowed any carry on. WHAT!? So ridiculous. We bought them and there was not one single place mentioning that. Then on our departure the WstJet attendant was a super nasty rude person. Very unprofessional, unpleasant. She should be reprimanded and given some sort of training but I believe that won’t change her nasty disposition. On our return was great, the front desk gentleman was really professional, friendly and helpful. He offered us to pay $18 usd each for our carry on backpacks as they were small (instead of $90 each at the departure, she could have mentioned but decided not to do so. Didn’t print my boarding pass with my full name as in the passport and made the flight delay because the crew needed to correct it).

Scrooge airlines spoiled my last chance at Christmas with my 95 and 92 year old folks. and rest of the family in Calgary. Ticket personnel would not let me on without a passport and I always visit Canada with my enhanced driver;s License when I travel from the US

Flight was delayed due to mechanical issues to the point that I missed my connection and had to wait for 6 hrs in Calgary... thankfully I wasn't in a rush or that would have been annoying

Three of four legs of our trip to and from Japan involved delayed flights. Hours and hours of delay. Food poor quality and inedible particularly on the Japan to Toronto segment. Two planes on the Japan to Washington return trip required replacement aircraft to be flown in from somewhere. Boarding in the dark on the field, one passenger fell and was injured. Overall bad experience.

This was my first time flying Air Canada. My first flight was delayed and then cancelled due to maintenance issues. They kept us informed and put me up in a nice hotel along with 2 food vouchers for my flight the next day. I understand things happen and they took care of the problem very well.I also like the fact that they don't charge for your first checked bag. The food was also hot, fresh and good.

There is not enough room for people over 6 feet in the seats for a flight that long. Crew only came by when it was meal/snake time, in the 11 plus hour flight we did not see anyone walk around, on our flight to Japan we did not know where the call button was to ask for water, on the flight back we finally pushed enough buttons to find the call button

They delayed all our flights and lost our luggage flying to Tokyo, Japan. Worst experience I have had with any airline. DO NOT BOOK.

Flight and flight crew were great. Better than most US airlines. Check-in was awful. They repeatedly wouldn't assign seats on the Air Canada flight or print boarding passes for all legs. This was really frustrating. Checked in the day before each direction but they put us on Standby while they juggled seats to upgrade others. This made it really difficult to get seats next to each other which is important when you have 10+ hour flights. Then they would only print boarding passes for their leg even though everything was booked through them. This made Customs in Canada difficult as they required boarding passes for the next flight each way to get through security. Couldn't get them on the phone and slowed everything down and security had to make exceptions for me to print boarding passes as security.

it was great only downfall was that the tvs weren't working but the rest was great specially the wifi

The Entertainment system was nearly useless because videos kept stopping then jumping over segments at random but closely spaced intervals. About 75% of the plane gave up trying to watch and then the gaps and jumps became shorter, It was terrible and made it hard to know what was happening since it was not a normal buffering pause where you still get the cont6en t. Instead the video would pause then jump ahead missing short segments and dialog entirely! The economy class seats on all flights have less and less legroom. I’m tall and the upgraded seats are no better for the leg room, not worth it. I flew from Toronto to Calgary….The staff at YYZ was awesome and kind. My flight’s (prior) incoming plane from Liberia had been delayed over 3 hours and the attendant quickly and kindly transferred me to the earlier flight that got me in hours earlier. Such a great staff!! Every staff member on the plane was very-very Canadian/Kind . Great job and attitude you folks! The plane itself was new and in great condition, except the issue with the video streaming.

I did not like ANYTHING about Discover....see my previous comments regarding our trip. I will do everything possible never to fly with Discover again!!!

My experience with Air Canada has been horrendous. My first flight was delayed 6 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight thus extending my stay at the next airport for 15 hours because it made me miss my connecting flight. They also added another flight to my trip adding more time to it. Overal my flight duration which should have been 15-16 hours to return home has been increased to 33+ hours and the only thing I was given was a 10 dollar food voucher. Talk about a spit in the face. Air Canada is Probabaly the worst airline I have ever been on. I hope no one ever experience this. I am still waiting to get home and another one of my flight is delayed. I am here fearing that I might miss my other connecting flight that they added to my trip and thus adding more time to my trip.

Flight was fine, 1st plane was a bit old entertainment, 2nd the display was freezing/ crashing every 30min. We had problems getting at gate and waited 2hr to get a gate in Toronto, then had a 90min mechanical delay at the next departure. Weather was bad and I’m just happy we didn’t get stuck.
