Cons: "Flight left late. Sat on tarmac almost 1.5 hours with little explanation. No water until in the air. Poor allocation of overhead space for luggage - free for all by passengers. A miserable experience."

Pros: "Was given a quick connection paper which helped expedite things. Customs was fairly quick but got some mixed messages from airport staff as to which line(s) to go in. Fairly smooth process and very glad I travel with only a carryon. Getting my bags would have been a real rush. Entertainment available on smartphone, iPad or lap top."
Cons: "It was a tight transfer to get from one flight to another. Had to take a bus from the tarmac and then walk all the way to terminal two to check in with westjet and then back to terminal three to board after going through customs. Had time for a bathroom break and that was it."

Pros: "I felt really well treated. A guy even came for us to board because we were with a child"

Cons: "The flight in Ottawa was delayed twice which made me change my plans twice. The plane was also a little cold heading to Toronto. Otherwise the help from Paul getting checked in was fantastic. He made the bad situation of a delay worth it just talking with him and apologizing for the delay with true empathy . Thank you Paul"

Pros: "I had been very sick the night before the flight and was so weak that I needed a wheelchair. The wheelchair helpers at both the Mazatlan end and Calgary were exceptional. They were so kind and genuinely helpful. I was very grateful. Also, your flight attendants seem to really enjoy their jobs. This is not the case on other airlines!"

Pros: "There was one nice, friendly flight attendant. Nice to have a variety of beverages and pretzels offered (I feel I don't expect this anymore from domestic flights-- usually just expecting the coffee or water option)."
Cons: "The seats were up there with the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced--mostly due to the lack of ability to recline. I feel a four hour flight is sufficiently long enough to provide people some space to relax. We were delayed for whatever reason, lack of communication from staff to the passengers that were boarded really quite early (perhaps too early). One of the staff, while nice enough, was being a bit snarky to people as they were trying to, what I thought was helpfully, give them their garbage."

Cons: "Lots of delays on different flights for members of our party flying from various points in US to Calgary and on returns. Several folks had damage to their luggage, including wheels torn off of baggage and a cracked ski helmet."

Cons: "5hrs and 9min flight time. Add boarding and alighting at the other end - adds up to over 6 hours travel time. WestJet will supply you with a coffee or tea and a cookie, pretzel or cheese stick packet. Wow! You get to watch fair selection of movies etc on your own phone or tablet - IF you have downloaded the app BEFORE you leave the terminal.Wow! If you need to wait for the bathroom the stewardess tells you to wait in the aisle behind row 3... really? So I can't just stand here in the galley and wait... no sir, behind row 3. Best advice - fly Air Canada - these guys do not deserve your money!"
