The connecting gate at YYC for YXH could have been closer. We de-planed in D and had to walk to the lower level on the far north end (on the other side of A)
I am a small person and I had barely any room to move. The rows of seats are WAY too close together and are very uncomfortable. My partners legs didnt even fit in the space in front of him and he had to splay his legs out into both directions in the other passengers areas. I can't imagine being bigger than we are and trying to fit into those rows. Unacceptable.
Getting closer to the gate that we had to leave from we had to run to catch our next flight
Travelling with children, they made sure we were comfortable, provided assistance both boarding and leaving the plane

Both flights we boarded and had to wait 1 hr/45 m respectively before leaving the gate. This was over and above normal times. Seats and space not comfortable.
Pros: "Short and sweet."
Cons: "We changed planes in Calgary, and we could have used better signage. Half of our flight got lost and ended up in the wrong gate. We all had to quickly backtrack. Thankfully we had enough time, but if our next flight had been earlier, we could have lost our connection."
Cons: "More than an hour late departing. Added to that it was almost an hour before luggage appeared. Not West Jet’s fault but it made us even later resulting in some of our long drive of our drive to Grand Canyon being in the dark."
Pros: "It was a huge plane, normally on my trips from Toronto to Calgary its a six seater plane. I really enjoyed it being and 11 seater per row, with more leg room, a window seat, and no one in the seat beside me! Made for a much more comfortable experience. Was not what I expected for the price I paid for it. Was very please by that."
Cons: "No Food to buy available on board. We thought we could buy something. The coffee was good."
I got my dates wrong but becuase I bought through Kayak there was nothing Air Canada would do and there was nobody to talk to / contact / or even email to get a refund even with my dates being off by more than a month.
on a 5 hour flight from toronto to san fran, no crackers or cookies, nothing. i was surprised. I liked the wider seats coming home. I hated being put in section 5 and don't know how you figure that stuff out. I bought tickets mid summer. was it because I was economy? I am 75 and had to turn over my carry on both times. It is hard for people of all sizes and disabilities to fit into spaces. I liked the staff, and that we got through the fog. You are stuck with planes and economics in order to function, so whoever is reading this, it's nothing much you can do, except, perhaps, offer a tiny snack free on 4 + hour trips.
Crew only came by once to offer a beverage. Nothing to go with it. No pretzels or biscuits as in the past. Surprising. Easy to connect to in flight entertainment but no way to charge device on board
We were frustrated about the way they treated us as Star Alliance Gold. No early boarding and we had to argue for priority luggage.
I rarely enjoy Air Canada flights and crew however long or short. But baffles me the most is why do you serve snacks on short flights but starve your passengers on long hauls. Why does Air Canada treat passengers with French names with more respect than English names...I.e. my girlfriend last name St Pierre got bumped to business class and I got the last row where I couldn't even decline my seat. But that was just one incident. Than there's the numerous times my luggage got lost. I travel a lot. Love carriers like KLM, LH, COPA, to name a few but AC still socks in book. I ONLY book you based on your time and price.
Not much to like. At least it wasn't too hot or cold. Flight delayed an hour while in the airport, another hour on the tarmac. BS explanation blaming poor weather - absolutely untrue.
Flight delays turned my trip into a nightmare. I ended up with no flights and having to stay in Calgary airport for 7 hours and then Toronto airport for 7 hours. Nothing in the airport open to eat or sleep.
Aircraft delayed for more than an hour and I missed my next flight. The flight from OKC had been canceled tho
The cabin was uncomfortably warm the entire flight. Being scolded as a group, that we the passengers are delaying boarding because of our luggage is ridiculous. Stop charging people to check their luggage and the problem goes away.
A lot off people carry on real big suitcases. I wish the staff start enforcing the size of carry on
