No kiosk to help pre boarding unlike other airlines, still lost the luggage despite its own crew/TSA or security tagging it, poor handling of lost luggage and possibly compensation is likely poor too.
Plane was one hour late. Hardly any space for our carry-ons. Stressful to catch connections.
It was my first experience with westjet and it is really awesome to travel with westjet. I highly recommend to everyone.
The agent denied our cat from boarding just because the carrier has to be slightly shorter to go under the seat. It is a soft sided carrier and WestJet had mentioned that soft sided carriers can be squished to go under the seat. So we had to transport the cat via road to YYC. In Yyc the connection flight terminal supervisor of WestJet was surprised about the edmonton agent decision as she said the size of bag should be 11in indeed so that cat can move freely even if the bag has to be slightly adjusted to go under the seat. Avoid WestJet - they are a dying organization with incompetent staff!!!... No guarantee the flight is maintained since the crew went on strike. Very unsafe and unpredictable business, a cancerous corn in the hands of Canadian business !!
WestJet is the worst. Will never fly with them again.
Terrible. Passengers were loud and stewardess did nothing about it. They didn't show us the safety precautions like how they were suppose to, in the beginning before taking off.
For some reason there was a change in the cockpit which delayed us by an hour
No major issues with WestJet. Unfortunately, on the segment YYC to IAH the entertainment system was down.
The connecting gate at YYC for YXH could have been closer. We de-planed in D and had to walk to the lower level on the far north end (on the other side of A) The cabin plane temperature during the flight between YYC and YXH was cold.
The service cart didn't bother stopping at my row
It was one and a half hour flight, however it was delayed for one hour, no bus running after getting off the C-Train,
Received an email a few hours before boarding that wifi and seatback entertainment would not be available. There was no explanation for this. We were served 1 x 20 gram granola bar as a snack (not even a full granola bar) which was really embarrassing. The crew was lovely (none of this was their fault) and the flight was successful, but the aircraft itself was falling apart on the inside. Overhead comfort control panels were worn and some were hanging out and non functional, This aircraft needs to be upgraded.
Staff were very friendly. Plane left on time and arrived on time.
Flight was cancelled due to problems with the aircraft . Not much else to add . Itinerary was changed from yeg to Yule direct . Fine .
Due to the approaching strike I have to admit Air Canada personnel showed empathy and compassion.Thank you for an enjoyable flight
I called to put a stop to this ticket because it was fraudulent. Nobody stopped it. Then they sent me to Mastercard to fight it alone. Thanks (Sarc) to everyone who helped facilitate fraud and would not dare attempt to stop it.
Could not hear the announcements at the gate when boarding. Not loud enough.
Not having to pay for seats for 53 minute flight when continuing on the Calgary United didn't charge for seats to Chicago or the fort Lauderdale
Paid for the upgrade to Comfort Class with sky miles. Well worth it!
Look this rating had nothing to do with the staffing on personal level they interacted professionally and with a friendly demeanor. However they canceled my first flight with short notice . Went from 7 hour trip to 13 hours . Then the boarding lady insisted that I check my carry on because it was a very small plane , I did check it , they lost it. Now with a carry on one puts all his stuff in , meds, expensive waterfowl calls and stika gear I hope when they find it all my stuff is there. Kayak you need to ask about entire experience not just the flight.
