Cons: "The food was terrible. Only one option and I didn't like it."
Pros: "The seats were very comfortable."
Cons: "It was very difficult to understand the flight attendants, flight was very bumpy and it was delayed about 2 hours in all. We had to deplane in Taipei, and then sat on the tarmac in NYC for another 40 minutes."

Pros: "Check-in and boarding were convenient, overall in-flight experience was good and satisfying."
Cons: "Provide beverage/water more frequently during flight to keep passengers hydrated."

Pros: "EVA graciously accept a name correction to my ticket where most of my name was correct but the first name wasnt. A big help. Unlike travelling in and out of China. So, i appreciated this help. Flying out at 2 am and arriving Taipei at 5 am was a good time choice too. Service on board was good. Lots of refreshments served. Nice plates used for meals in economy."
Pros: "I love that the crew maintains the bathrooms well. To me, EVA has the cleanest bathrooms of all the Asian and North American airlines I have flown to Asia. Crew is courteous and pleasant and helpful."
Cons: "The food seems to have gone downhill. I miss the special crackers with seaweed. The hot meal was like North American airline meals - blecchh. Very disappointing."
Pros: "Good leg space and entertainment options"
Cons: "I was eligible for a complimentary hotel for my connection. However, in none of my correspondence was mentioned that I'm supposed to request a hotel ahead of departure. No emails from Kayak and neither Emirates. This is extremely disappointing and unnecessarily costly"
Pros: "Entertainment is epic. Speed to get luggage and depart airport was excellent."
Cons: "Boarding crew had difficulty pronouncing "B" and "D", this caused some confusion. If they had said "B for Bravo", and "D for David", it would have helped them a lot."

Cons: "A warning about landing in Dubai, and being put on a bus to the terminal"
Cons: "Thank you so much Emirates airline you are the best"
Cons: "Be on time. Flight delay was ~3hrs. Flight operated by Fly Dubai and eve though my ticket was with Emirates got charged for coffee and water!!!"
Pros: "Flight was delayed for 6 hours while we are in the plane, on top of my 13 hour flight"
Cons: "letting people know that flight will be delayed ahead of time"
Pros: "Leg room was excellent I even enjoyed the meals nice to have real cutlery rather than plastic Very efficient and smooth boarding Return of checked luggage upon arrival was prompt and efficient Flight attendants were super conscientious, friendly and VERY professional"
Cons: "Everything was GREAT"
Pros: "The entertainment system was excellent and the free WiFi was good. The food was good, it was a bit more than expected as were the numerous beverages. The service was excellent."
Cons: "The free WiFi was limited to a small amount of data or two hours."
Cons: "Ahmedabad is the worst of Indian international airports. Emirates can't manage that zoo."
Pros: "Crew very nice and helpful, food was really good and entertainment was very good. The plane was also very clean, i would definitely fly with emirates again"
Pros: "Seat was great!"
Cons: "Long flight this good to offer drinks and snacks between meals"
Cons: "Too cold on the plane, air is very dry, seats are very uncomfortable. The seats are hard. No cushion. No foot rest. Cup holders don’t work properly and my drinks tilt and spill. Bathrooms are dirty. Not baby friendly. Food is poor quality. I didn’t get a drink during my meal. I had to flag a flight attendant down to get juice."
Pros: "The leg rest in premium economy should have been longer & seat should have been wider"
Cons: "See above note"
Pros: "Very good"
Cons: "Not much except the air con which was so freezing ( pls raise the thermostat a little bit"
Pros: "None at all."
Cons: "If they give you the seat assignment you pay for."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and polite. Cannot complain. The seat in Premium Economy was better than expected. Certainly worth the upgrade."
Cons: "The food was good but could have been better. I don't really know what to normally expect. The cloth napkins and metal flatware were certainly appreciated."
Cons: "Hoping to have a flight on time and not delayed."
Cons: "Install IFE, organize the boarding process. Blankets on given on request"
Pros: "Crew was very friendly and attentive, movie and tv options were great."
Cons: "I appreciated that I was given a gluten free meal but one side was hot and the other side was slightly cold still. I am not sure how that could be possible, but it was my experience on that flight."
Pros: "Nice plane, good crew"
Cons: "Flight was delayed several times at take off, then upon landing we waited on tarmac for another hour waiting for gate to open"
Cons: "Flown business class 4 times with China southern. But their beds never lay completely flat. Always have a hump in the middle so I raise the back a bit to compensate"
Cons: "From Baiyun (CAN) to SFO, the lunch - rice and stir-fry beef. The beef is the lousy part, which you cannot chew off. The airline staff probably never ate these meals. They do not know. Just check the leftover from the box and you will see - no one finishes the beef dish. It’s the worst in-flight meal"
Pros: "TV was okay when it was working, however crew was not around when I needed help and it was no longer functioning the last 3 hours of the flight."
Cons: "Food wasn't great. Not many options. Nothing vegetarian, of course I brought my own food, however it wasn't anything hot."
Cons: "Flight delayed, Missed connecting flight Not good response from ground crew members"
Pros: "Flight was on time, crew was very professional and worked hard to please the passengers in service and care. Food in business class was really good, and in fact, were generous portions. Surprisingly good choice of movies in entertainment."
Cons: "No sweeteners fondrinks like coffee, just sugar. I would really suggest to China Southern to stock sweeterners for passengers who don’t use sugar."
Pros: "short (3 hours) flight. food is okay as airplane food. seats are pretty big."
Cons: "The only complaining is there isn't any Cantonese movies as it supposed to be a Guangzhou (廣東) bound."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "No USB charging. No charging at all. No wifi. Not all flight attendants speak English. No meal choice. In flight magazine Chinese language only. Confiscated my solar charger. At Guangzhou airport, many food courts take only Chinese cash. Internet service censored."
Pros: "After reading reviews on trip advisor about some specific problems such as customer service and food options, I am happy to say that my experience actually excelled in these two areas. I will be flying with China Southern again."
Cons: "The same things everyone doesn't like about the common flying experience, extended to a 15 hour flight."
Pros: "We enjoyed our flight on China Southern. The aircraft, the service, the staff, the food: everything was great. The flight was delayed out of Phuket, causing us to miss our connecting flight to SFO in Guongzhou, but China Southern provided us with a seamless alternate and our ultimate arrival at ATL was barely delayed."
Pros: "The service was outstanding. They had a person waiting as we got off the first flight to guide us to the second flight. The stewardesses were attentive and outstanding. The seats were comfortable, the food and movie optons were top notch. I can't recommend business class highly enough."
Cons: "I loved everything!"
Cons: "The flight was fine, but the aircraft arrived 3 hours late. That’s a long wait."
Pros: "Very smooth flight. Nice 787"
Cons: "Very cramped no room to move. I can't believe the meals that were served. Very small portions. A slice of bread for breakfast. No butter just dry bread and coffee!!"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I didn’t like anything about this flight, except that we arrived safely. I had the last seat, next to the toilet, and that container or whatever it is, was dirty. Every time someone flushed, I was bathed in the smell of urine. It was raining in Toronto; consequently, my checked bag was wet through. I’m glad I was coming home rather than arriving at a vacation destination, where all my stuff would’ve been wet. I’d like to see some effort put into keeping my bag dry. Also, the passengers had to slog through the rain to get on the plane!"
Cons: "No more seats, rescheduled for the next day. poor service"
Pros: "That we eventually got a flight home."
Cons: "Being stuck in Boston and Ottawa for 2 extra days and adding around $1200 on to our trip in hotels alone (I was travelling with 4 kids on a school trip and my wife). Additionally, we didn’t find out the flights were cancelled until we arrived at the airport. Apparently, they had been cancelled 2 hours before but there was no notification. Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way."
Cons: "I want to seriously complain about Air Canada and Kayak booking systems. I reserved the tickets to Shanghai but there were no place reminding me that I need Canadian VISA to connect flights between two Canadian cities. I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."
Cons: "Our connecting flight from Toronto to Thunder Bay was cancelled. AC put us in a hotel for the night. Thanks for the $15 dinner voucher. Almost paid for the salad. Then we had to get up at 530am to get the 6am hotel shuttle in order to get back to airport for our 8am flight. They seem to always cancel the 9pm flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto because not full enough. And the last flight is over sold so we have to stay the night in Toronto. Then don't offer the 9pm flight. Passengers have other commitments in their life's. We don't need AC to just hold us over for the night because one of their flights is have empty."
Cons: "There were too many things to mention, but I must say the customer service is not a strong point neither is a customer first mindset. The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds."
Cons: "The flight attendant looked like she was drunk. The flight was overbooked and the boarding agent asked people to stay for a later flight. There was also a Air Canada crew member who looked like he was on standby for our flight, his last name was Campbell. Once we boarded the plane we noticed that the crew member had been given a seat on the plane, where a mother with three children that was also on standby had to stay for a later flight. Not sure how 1) you overbook a flight, and much less 2) give a seat to a crew member over a customer."
Cons: "I wish Air Canada sent check-in emails for flights in as well as out. I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."
