We were sitting on the plane for half an hour before we arrived at the gate after landing. We had to wait half an hour to collect our luggage.
Boarding was very expedite. The chairs are fixed you can't rest comfortable during the flight.
Awful. I checked in online and there was no option to pay for baggage, at the airport when I checked in my baggage was received and Iwas not charged. When I got to LA during the boarding process I was told I didn't pay for baggage, the crew resolved I was let in the plane. When I got to my final destination my baggage was not there. It took me two days to receive my baggage. Bad service ever!
It is better at the jfk than my home country. It was very easy and everything was on time.
There is no food. There is no in-inflight entertainment. The seats are cardboard. The airline is a living hellscape.
My experience was amazing! They helped my elderly mother board on early through a wheelchair and were accommodating to have us sit together since our seats were in different locations. When landing at the airport in GUA they were very helpful with full of hospitality.
They could offer free food and drink like other international flights.
Delay almost an hour which meant when we got to Guatemala there where 3 flights at the same time, you can imagine the caos in customs, avianca doesn’t care about passengers or schedules
Flight departure late. Got late in Colombia making us take a different flight next day. Avianca airport crew messed up my ticket so when a I got in Brazil I didn’t have a ticket for my destination. Had to buy a new ticket out of my pocket.
Avianca: you pay for a high-end flight and you fly like a low (very low) cost!
They charge me $190.00 dollars for the baggage for the bag in side the plane and in the baggage compartment in the plane. The service I got bad bad bad they make wait for a log time and i got to the airport 4 hours before. I don't think I'm going to use you guys never never again no support . And I am going to tell all the guys and people i now to don' use KAYAK

There was no lounge for passengers waiting before boarding the aircraft at F65, so passengers are just sitting on the floor or just spread everywhere the premises before boarding.

All went fine. Boarding was efficient, staff was really friendly, and we were kept up to date on any changes to our itinerary. My only note for improvement is that on this particular plane, the recline in economy class was negligible. I know it's a coach seat, but I had another UA flight (SFO to BWI) and the seat was more comfortable with better recline.
Really good experience with a redeye flight from SFO to BWI. Boarding was efficient, plane was comfortable and newer than others, lots of audio and video choices, and staff was great. I appreciate United's service.

The original seat on the flight Toronto Newark had the floor flooded with coffee spilled, so they changed our seat to premium economy. For the flight from Newark to San Salvador we were i the last row, no reclinable seats and beside the toilet. I asked for headsets to the waitress and she gave it to.me test of all the passengers, while she was staying right behind me..
Couldn’t get the tv screen to work, didn’t try food, so no comment
Flight was delayed but reasonable notice and communication was always there for the passengers.
lounge was the highlight - seats weren't that comfortable - it was a full flight but no complaints

Not sure about entertainment as I didn't use any, so maybe there should be an NA option on this survey. Otherwise everything was just as it should be. Of course I wish planes were more comfortable and had seats that would tilt back further.

Flight was delayed and American failed to hold my connecting flight for 5 minutes to let me board after running through CLT to get to the gate. The plane was still at the gate. Gate agent could not have cared less

The flight was delayed multiple times. I had to buy a new tickets (4 tickets) for my family for a total of $5200 cnd And missed thanks giving with our family. Very very poor and disappointing service.
I sat in row 38 seat D. The headphone jack was nearly broken. The charging port was completely broken. My under seat space was compromised by a little metal box not seen under all seats so there was less room for my bag (which ended up having to go under the empty middle seat). These things could have been better. One of the flight attendants walked by me while my eyes were closed but I was awake waiting for breakfast and didn’t try to wake me for meal- and then when I asked about it didn’t offer to give me a pack I loved the other flight attendant - he was very kind funny witty and made extra efforts my comfort Overall everyone was polite, flight was smooth Off boarding was a ridiculously long process and should have been avoided if possible
