FAQs - booking Bali flights

  • Are there any direct flights from Toronto to Bali?

Currently, there are no direct flights from Toronto to Bali available. You can, however, find flights with one, two, or three layovers. Typically, flights with just one layover depart from Toronto Pearson International Airport and are operated by Cathay Pacific, Emirates, or Philippine Airlines.

  • Where are some common layover destinations on the route from Toronto to Bali?

As there are no direct flights, all routes will have at least one layover. The layover destination will depend largely on your airline. For example, Cathay Pacific offers a one-stop flight with a layover in Hong Kong (HKG), Emirates has a layover in Dubai (DXB), and Philippine Airlines stops in Manila (MNL). Common layovers for two-stop and three-stop flights include Vancouver (YVR), Taipei (TPE), Montreal (YUL), Doha (DOH), and New York (JFK).

  • What can I do to make my flight from Toronto to Bali more sustainable?

Those concerned about sustainability should try to book the flight route with the least amount of layovers – which in this case is one layover – to reduce the amount of fuel burned during takeoffs and landings. You can also try to book your flight with either Air Canada, KLM, or Emirates, some of the most sustainable airlines flying this route. In addition, pack light and use public transport to reach the airport.

  • Where else can I fly to from Bali?

If you are looking to extend your trip from Bali, you have many options, as this airport serves many domestic and international flights. For example, you could fly to Jakarta, Bandung, and Tambolaka within Indonesia or extend your trip to international destinations like Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Perth.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from Toronto to Bali?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from Toronto to Bali.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket from Toronto to Bali?

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight to Bali from Toronto is likely to change within 7 days, so travelers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from Toronto to Bali?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional round-trip ticket. You could then fly to Bali with an airline and back to Toronto with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Toronto to Bali?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying to Bali from Toronto up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

  • You can choose from three airports in Toronto as your departure point when you are flying from Toronto to Bali: Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ), and John C. The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge is located in multiple places throughout the airport, while the KLM Crown Lounge and the American Airlines Admirals Club are in Terminal 3.

Overall, very uneventful and pleasant experience. Most importantly, no delays.

The flight crews were extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. Departure and arrival times were accurate. No delay. I will use K airline again. Thanks

Everything about Korean air is great, hands down! Will always prefer this airline from other carriers.

I enjoyed flying on Korean Air. The service was great and the food was yummy, especially the bibimbap and cold spicy noodles. The only thing that bummed me out on this red-eye flight was that my seat did not properly recline so I was not able to sleep.

Ford not that great the seat not to big for leg room like other airline

Korean Air had great service and the Bibimbap dish was the best airplane food I’ve ever had. It was a long flight so in between the two meals they served customers could get Shin ramen. The flight attendants let my children use a pair of nice headphones for the flight and had earbuds and slippers for all the adults. The flight was long but the time passed by relatively quickly because they have many great shows in their entertainment TV. I watched the BTS Love Yourself and Speak Yourself concerts 💜

New plane. Perfect gluten free meal Very flawless procedures from check-in to the landing. Taking off on time and landing even earlier and the luggages are already there after shortest arrival report.

not too bad but not too great either. Service on all airlines declined ever since covid. Your Delta Stewardess are not that friendly at all. :-(

I flew Asiana Air not Korean Air which was my original flight. So, I have no say about Korean Airlines right now. I hope you guys will not make any changes of my flight on Feb 15th. I want to fly Korean Air on Feb 15th. and make sure it is the same flightr njumber for my husband also and do not make any changes on either flights. thank you for reading my letter.

My flight was diverted to Atlanta and I was not given enough time. I paid my travel on April 23, 2023. It was originally Delta from Norfolk to NY, then Korean Air from NY all the way Philippines which is my final stop. Instead from Atlanta to Korea I flew Delta which is okay. Then Korea to Philippines, I flew Asiana Airlines. What I did not like, Ieagle did not sent me an email that my flight was change and so when I went to check in Wednesday the 10th, at 4:30 a.m they told me my flight was delayed at 6;00 p.m and diverted in Atlanta and I am flying Asiana from Korea to Philippines. I do not appreciate that Kayak or Ieagle chenge our flights 5 times and then last minute change again during my day of flight. I hope that you will not make any changes of my flight o Feb 15th because it has to be the same flight with my husband. That is the reason why we made the arrangements early on.

The overall flight went well and the aircrew was pleasant.

Not good. Flight was purchased for my father who needed medical assistance to board and transfer due to a heart condition. No one at Hong Kong from Cathay was there to assist and he barely made the connection. When I talked to him he could barely breath and was not sure he was going to make it. Really poor service even though the ticket stated he needed a wheelchair assistance.

Very poor check-in experience, and flight meal service was very disappointing with no drinks service or hot meal.

Not impressed with check in desk staff at Vancouver airport. Not a professional mind service and not cared or tried to help. Don’t think I would fly with them again

Flight crew was especially thoughtful and attentive, made sure our seats were comfortable so we could rest on the long flight

One of the worst flight in business class by qatar airways and I’m no stranger with qatar airways businesses class, I travelled with the extensively in the past 12 years

The aircraft was slightly newer but the food was very bad. Bland and uninteresting. Nothing special at all.

The crew were fine. I didn’t enjoy the food at all. I found it unappetising and really had trouble eating it. The comfort level was fine and our return flight is with Cathay Pacific but honestly I probably wouldn’t fly Cathay Pacific again.

Everything went smooth. All flights were on time No changing gates, . No changing flights . It was like a completely different airlines tha n the last time I used Cathay Pacific . The last flight, 2 months ago, I had before this one was from Philippines also . I got changed in Manila and was told it only added 2 hours onto my flight . My 20 hour return trip ended up being 30 hours return with a 10.0 hour layover in New York with no seats anywhere . Everyone was sleeping or sitting on the floor . Unlike the hotel I was given in Manila to wait for this flight home . I never thought I would use Cathay Pacific again . But I did and this time you were great! I should have complained about the flight and layover from Hell a couple months ago. Consider that I am complaining about that august/23 flight now . Thank you got the great flying experience on my way home from philippines .

Flight was delayed. Drink was only offered during meal. Would have been nicer if crew walk around to offer drink after take off or in between meals.

Nice smooth flight with pleasant stewards. Slept most of the flight, they could have slowly turned on the lights to make it more pleasant. Otherwise a good trip.

Great! No food was available during the flight due to the catering service strike but snacks were given throughout the flight which was nice.

I wish that seats closer to the front of the plan were available, but when I booked the flight the seats were VERY expensive so I did not book seats at that time. The day before flying only seats at the back of the plane were available. It takes so long to board the plane and empty the plane on arrival due to SO many roller bags.

Crew was rude.didn’t even say hi or welcome to board

Nothing special. Unacceptable wait for baggage on arriving in Calgary

Departure delay on a late night flight. Made us even later. Tired but got home.

Westjet forced me to put my carry-on baggage in check-in probably because I was assigned seat 23A (the last row seat), which had no cabin space, which is unfair. I wanted to carry on my luggage so that I don't have to wait at the airport for my luggage. Also, because there was no cabin space, I was forced to keep my laptop bag under the seat, which I didn't want to as I was carrying 2 laptops and charger. The airline should basically tell people that if you are assigned a last row seat, then you are not allowed a cabin baggage or a personal item.

Easy processing, flight time was quick and staff was professional and kind.

It was delayed by two ours very full no room to move

They seem to have squeezed out a little more legroom in these planes! It was very nice to not have to fold in half to fit in the seats!

It was good! Appreciated that it was very on schedule so it made the connecting flight less stressful

Two flights, both poor. No entertainment. Cramped and uncomfortable seats, little space, the rest was OK. Staff were acceptable good.

The crew was doing their best on an old plane needing updating. Chairs that creaked and wouldn’t stay in position. My tray table was unusable as was on-board entertainment due the audio needing usb earphones (that were not provided). Prior to boarding in Toronto and despite being scheduled for a wheelchair and assistance, we were dropped off by clubcar without a wheelchair which I found myself by a gate. Due to no boarding gate assigned at that time we waited and when it was, it subsequently was moved from 64 to 95. No help could be found so I pushed my husband’s chair to that furthest gate in the airport at the highest speed possible for a 73 year old. And by that I mean I ran. It was a very stressful experience.

Wifi wasn't working on one of the UA flights after boarding.

Leg room was lacking. Legs crammed into seat in front.

T hey did a great job. Flight was on time .

the plane was old. the wifi didn’t work. the entertainment was boring and dated. the charging ports were impossible to find. i was mostly ignored by flight attendants that had no problem speaking to the man beside me. i got two drinks the entire time i was on the plane.

Crew was not very helpful. They forgot to serve me coffee and had to wait for a long time.It looked as if they were not very happy with what they were doing.

The flight I was connecting with waited for me even though my 1st flight was late. I really appreciated that.

The seat is too hard and my back and bottom are having servers pain

Inexperienced crew. Food was so so. They lost my luggage on a direct flight. Was flying business so my luggage was priority. Not impressed.

I liked the early check in. Flight was a bit bumpy due yo weather. Overall, everything went well.

It was awful. For a 37 minute flight time,we had 1:30 hours delay. If someone had a connection flight he or she couldn’t reach for sure. The only positive point was online check in.

Limited snack options cause the snack vendor was on strike

The 6 hour delay with minimal updates was not handled well. After many complaints from most of the un-boarded passengers, food vouchers were offered. The catering strike meant there was no food or snacks on the plane. Beverage service was heavily impacted, only water or juice was available. The staff at the gate was kind enough to inform that "if you want to eat on the plane, you will need to bring it on when boarding".

It was an excellent experience, traveling from Toronto to Denver with United.

Ontime boarding. Almost 1 hour take off delay. We could have boarded slightly later since the pilots were in traffic

I go am isle seat because it was half empty Food strike no food available

Flight was delayed, jeopardizing the following connections. Food was terrible. Crew was great.

This was the first AC flight in a long time that we experienced no delays or frustrations. The gate attendant was extremely polite and accommodating to my husband who has Parkinson’s disease which made boarding extremely stress free. Flight departed ON TIME and was a smooth ride. If only all my AC experiences could be like this.
