Cons: "Flight was delayed once we had boarded, so we had to sit at the gate for about 2 hours, which was not the crew's fault of course, however, they could have offered drinks. Once we finally got in the air, they only offered purchasable snacks in a way that was confusing--and did not even come through the cabin with complimentary drinks. Given the circumstances, and the fact the time in our seats was extended by over two hours, there could have been some better service from the actual flight attendants. It should have been clearly stated at the beginning of the flight, and once more when we were in the air, that no complimentary drinks were going to be handed out, and if we wanted anything, we would need to purchase it. I wouldn't have minded purchasing if I had known that was my only option."
Pros: "Out of my four flights with Aer LIngus, this leg of my trip that both left and arrived on time. It is sad, that when landing they had to say thank you for flying another on time Aer LIngus flight. Makes me wonder how often are you not on time? My experience says 75% of the time your late."

We had the same issue returning but the cost was $55 US. On top of that Iceland Air changed planes and bumped us from row 10 to 41 - the last row. Bizarrely there is no customer service desk at the Reykjavik Airport - they just give you a little card with the website for customer service. I don't understand how any airline does this! BTW, they blame the third party for the issues! That is you!!!"

But then due to the delayed flight and lost baggage I missed my connection to Tromso. Then apparently neither airline can do anything to help me so I lose my entire flight cost because I booked through a third party. So I had to rebook a new flight at a premium cost just to get where I needed to go or risk losing my whole vacation. On top of that the baggage they lost is my backpack...hard to go backpacking across Norway with no backpack. Then they ship the backpack to the wrong airport, incorrectly wrote down my wrong cell number so they couldn't even call me...one cluster f*ck after another."

As well, the plane was brand new, leather seats and entertainment system. There was water and a blanket waiting for you at your seat once you boarded. They were very efficient and the crew made the trip a pleasant journey. Would highly recommend!"

Pros: "I'm a European tour and booked a flight from Reykjavik to Amsterdam, I received an email to make an offer to upgrade and I quickly jumped at the chance. I received an email 2 days prior to departure that my offer was excepted and I would be upgraded to economy comfort. Economy comfort is between First Classe and economy and the cool thing about it is that you get treated as if he had a first class ticket. I had access to the lounge which was amazing, the spread out was wonderful he sat in the choices plentiful. Reykjavik is a small airport therefore it's a busy airport, what do you economy comfort I was able to use the saga class lane and I checked in less than five minutes whereas the regular lane was backed up. I was able to board along with first-class passengers and the lane was short which I love. Overall it was a great experience and Icelandair will make you a trip even better if you fly with them first class or economy comfort. I highly recommend them and I am definitely flying with them again."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled, missing our 10+ layover in Iceland and trip to the blue lagoon. We missed arriving to Amsterdam for our friends birthday and ended up getting there the next day. The most dissappointing and quite frankly ridiculous part was that after being on hold for 2 hours Iceland air refused to upgrade our seats to first class after such a huge inconvenience. We boarded the plane and the entire first class portion of the flight empty!! This makes zero sense to me. Iceland air should seriously reconsider their upgrade policies. They would rather have first class be empty than make their customers happy! We were even willing to pay extra."

We were charged 462.00 extra to take the next flight out 3hours later. We were charged twice for the same flight from Portugal to Rome. It was not our fault that we could not connect in Portugal, every other airlines would make resonable accommodations with out any extra charge. We both feel cheated by tap airlines and it made our vacation very stressful trying to resolve the double charge. It has not been resolved as of yet and we our very disappointed on how we were treated. can’t get anything other than the blame being passed around."

NEOS Airlines is an Italian airline probably comparable to Southwest Airlines in the USA. It's a cattle car airline with no frills. Crew was very professional, food was actually good. A sandwich that was of course Italian ingredients. Seats were comfortable for the 3 hour flight."

I have flown on many airlines, but these planes were by far the worst. Cheap price, for a reason. The seats didn’t recline, the food was terrible, no options were given for food, and the movies were pre-picked. No one had a choice in what they watched. Very outdated. I had 2.5 hours to board my connecting flight and they caused me to miss it. As I waited in the customs line entering Lisbon, I asked a TAP representative if I’d have to get out of the line up and go right through as my flight left at 2:10 pm. They said you will make it, stay in line. I get near the front of the line 2 hours later... hundreds of people were in this line and they only had 2/10 customs agents available!!! I ask another representative how far my gate is since my flight leaves in 30 min and she told me “no you missed it. but don’t worry others will be missing it too”. So no I did not miss it, you caused me to miss it cause I already asked if I would and you people told me no. I run to the gate, which has now changed to the other end of the airport, so I run to that gate and it is 10 min before the flight is to take off. I ask the desk agent at the gate and he tells me the flight has already left. Others had missed it too due to the insane customs line up. So the plane left 20 mins earlier than scheduled with only half it’s passengers..... unbelievable!!! When I went to the service desk they did not show any sympathy or apologetic behaviours whatsoever."

We missed a full day of our vacation to Portugal because of this situation and are still hoping that our bags will make it to our destination..."

We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."
Pros: "The ride was comfortable, and the crew was attentive and pleasant. I loved the fact that i had a 10 hour layover, and I could go out into the city and do some sight seeing. This is not to the Airlines credit per say, but it was super easy. I enjoyed getting off on the tarmac just 200 feet from the building, was a nice sunny day."
Cons: "The seats did not have entertainment system that I wasn't going to watch anyways. The seats did not have charging ports either (for phone or laptop), which several airlines now a days are making standard."
Pros: "I was very impressed with the Ground crew who met me off the plane and had already arranged for me to go on a later flight with Emirates. If it had been possible to let me know when I was on the first flight that my onward travel had been arranged then it would have been perfect."

Once on the plane, things only got worse. I'm a small person- only 5'4" and even I had no leg room! This was made worse when the seat in front reclined- very claustrophobic. There were also zero entertainment options."

I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."

It was fine once or twice but became very annoying. The zones at the gate were very crowded and too close together. The seating area was overcrowded and had more seating with computer hookups than without. It was also not kept tidy. Compared to other airports this was by far the most disorganized and least clean."
