Pros: Flight attendants are excellent, polite, warm and professional.

PVG
SIN
Okay 5.0

Pros: On time performance that is really not a given on any flight from PRC

Cons: Ear pieces given only after "reaching altitude. Movie choices censored - no blockbusters (Ma Ma Mia was featured as a new release). Food rather of lousy quality with rice and pork as well as thick noodles with some thick oyster sauce and five rather tiny shrimps. Cold bun and frozen chunk of butter to start on the salad (again some shrimps with glass noodles) and four tiny pieces of watermelon. Red wine served but no white. They were quickly running through the isles with duty free but no one knew what they were selling as no catalogue in seat pocket. Qualified as a good domestic flight - not really of international standard with dirty toilets after an hour of flight time

Mediocre 3.6

Pros: The seat is a nice seat and on par with the better airlines.

Cons: The food and service are terrible at best.

JFK
PVG
Okay 5.0

Pros: Food

Cons: No entrance forms for foreigners to fill before landing. Shocking to learn that A black guy found "dead" in the middle of the flight, probably due to heart attack China Eastern web site is horrible as it only allows passengers who bought their tickets DIRECTLY from their web site to access booking managing like seat choice and printing boarding pass. If you bought tickets from travel agents like Justfly.com, forget to use China Eastern web site to manage your booking, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

LAX
Excellent 10.0

Pros: Flight attendants escorted us to our seats and helped stow our carry on luggage. Lie flat seats were comfortable with some storage space. Meals were very good as well

Cons: Limited in-flight entertainment. Headsets weren’t too good

Excellent 10.0

Pros: The actual flight was really fantastic, food was warm, flight was relatively comfortable/smooth, entertainment at least for me was good, since they had a decent amount of Japanese music to choose from, and the attendants were friendly and nice. Everything was 100% on time as well. I could complain more about tiny tiny things, but for $500 I felt I got a lot better service than United on an equivalent route.

Cons: Seats were slightly stiff, but not too bad. Only bigger issue was upon boarding all the people lined up in a 100+ yard line and caused a bit of commotion instead of waiting for their seat numbers to be called and forming a small normal line. This is in no way the airline's fault, and they tried to make it work in spite of the people doing it, but as a Westerner this was confusing.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.

The fares displayed include all taxes and fees for economy class travel and were found by the provider in the last 72 hours. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and days. Fares are subject to change and may not be available on all flights or dates of travel. Some carriers charge additional fees for extra checked bags. Please check the carriers' sites.
