Only liked crew and food, airplane was old, Entertainment system was ok, but my luggage was delayed for 48 hours and contacting the airlines/help center was difficult with referral to different departments, not much of them speak english and was put on hold multiple time to find someone that speaks english, end result me giving up on them and contacting my Visa insurance.
Missed this flight due to previous flight being delayed. No one helped with getting me through customs and borders security so I can make it on time. I had to stand in the longest line and end up staying overnight in Toronto. Now the airlines won’t pay for my hotel accommodation

I will never fly through Ataturk (or anywhere in Turkey) again."

My 14 year old and I were in Istanbul, Turkey with no way home. After hours on the phone with their customer service and many repeated phone calls and many collect phone calls to the United States, my mother was finally able to secure new plane tickets for $2000 one way for us to return to the states. We were in the airport for 24 hours before we could board a flight to make our way home. A few days after we arrived back is when the terrorist attacks occurred. I have been plagued with flashbacks of our time in the Istanbul airport. I feel that Turkish Airlines could have done a better job at trying to accommodate us in a time of desperation. I have been reluctant to contact them upon my return and a friend offered to call on my behalf and was treated in the same disrespectful manner. I would hate to think that Turkish Airlines could be representative of the people of Turkey. I can't imagine that Turkey or the citizens of this beautiful country could treat visitors in such a fashion. I appreciate your time in reading about our personal and devastating experiences during our trip that was to have been the trip of a lifetime with my son."
Cons: "I booked my flight with Turkish Airlines for June 28th at 11:05 pm. A few hours before my flight, there were bombings in the airport in Istanbul, which was where I was flying into. I tried for hours to contact Turkish Airlines and their phone was disconnected. I could not reach anyone to try to re-schedule a new flight or to ask if the flight was going to be re-directed. I received no information and ended up having to book a new flight for the next day. After my flight had already left Turkish Airlines posted on their website an alert. I am shocked that it took so long to post any information and I am very upset that I was unable to reach customer service. I will NOT be choosing this airline to fly on again."

Pros: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Cons: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others."

We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Cons: "The fact that I was delayed twice, given false information, had to wait to board because a flight attendant was late for her shift and then had to run from terminal to terminal to find my flight on my own because no representative could help me or show up."
Pros: "Considering the price we paid for our tickets is the the only drawback I keep coming back to when I think about the VALUE of what I paid for.the entire flight. The overall experience was good throughout; from the airport on both ends of the journey to the actual inflight experience. I'm not sure how much of an influence the airline has on the airport part of it all, but the check-in process was good. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."
Cons: "We paid a lot for our tickets even though they were purchased months in advance. Then when it came to seat selection, there was none. Our party of three, which was husband and wife plus friend, were all seated separately. We could have opted for "pay extra" seating, but even that did not get us together, so we opted out."

Cons: "Realized I left my iPhone in pocket of my seat as soon as I exited plane - spoke to gate agent within 1 minute of leaving plane and she Asia she would get the cleaning crew to look while I waited. Waited 20 min only to hear a bunch of lies about how they asked the flight attendant to look but she couldn’t find it - should have just walked back on plane to do it myself. Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

Pros: "Ticket agents at all airports were helpful and very considerate."
Cons: "We were not able to print our boarding passes the day before as expected per the website and purchase docs for the tickets, despite providing passport numbers (several times) and Global Entry registrations. Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."

Cons: "I booked the flight originally through british airways and expected your standard, modern plane for cross atlantic travel. Boarding to find myself on a 767 designed (and likely built) in the 80s was rather disappointing."
