Cons: "When we were about to take off we pulled to the side and sat there for 20 - 30 min before they told us there was an issue with the plane. Then we had to wait another 20 min before we got back to the terminal."

Pros: "Entertainment n/a. My flight was really quick. We took off around 9:55pm and landed at 10:30pm which is crazy because it was supposed to be a 56min flight ! Porter makes you feel like you're in first class with their aervice. They also have a comfy lounge to wait in."

Cons: "It wasn't just the hour and a half delay from the first flight or sitting on the plane an extra hour after boarding. Nor was it the over 3 hour delay of the second flight (itself two hours after the initial connection due to the first leg being late and then the initial second leg being cancelled). Flight attendants on the first porter flight were not simply talking to passengers. They were talking down to passengers. Customer service reps in Toronto, while understandably dealing with many complaints, thought a roll of the eyes would go unnoticed. It didn't, and the entire experience was unacceptable. So you know, the dinner I flew out for to celebrate one of my best friends wedding, I completely missed. Thanks Porter and Kayak."

Then up a long escalator. Then up a second slightly shorter one. Then up still a third escalator. Then the crazy airport rigamarole we sheep endorse sans fin. Then down one more escalator .Finally a walk to the aircraft. Is this airport design rational?"
Cons: "The Q400 is evidently old. The windows are so full of condensation that one can barely see anything through the fog. This is disappointing in any form of transport. One is told one's bag is so small it can be carried on board. But on arriving at seat 18A, one finds the bin above this row is filled with Porter supplies of some kind. Finding alternative room for the small bag is difficult. Especially when one is 92 years old. Something seems wrong with this arrangement, too."

Pros: "What did I like? I was treated like a human being by one and all--a novel experience in today's travel. The flight attendants actually attended! The pilot sounded like she cared that she was flying us. The airport crew are polite. What's not to like? All other airline employees should have to take a ride on a Porter Flight in and out of Billy Bishop, the city island airport. They should experience the possibilities of positive air travel."
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like is that I don't go to Canada enough. So I'm going to have to go on American Airlines again for most of my destinations (the airline where we have frequent flier miles.) I'm going to have to be treated like a soiled object that no one wants to serve. I'm going to have to be told over and over again that I haven't got enough 'status' to board, or get a decent seat, or have a snack."

Cons: "Travel home was a nightmare. I checked in. Went through security. Went to board and a glitch happened in their system with my layover. They checked me in 5 times and on the 6th a total meltdown. I was now a security issue. I've never been arrested or even have the slightest past. I am a thin woman carrying a banana bread and bagels, which I offered to relinquish as my personal item. They couldn't figure out the glitch in their system and didn't want the plan to be delayed so they started to let it begin the take off process. I asked, "WHAT ABOUT ME???" They said they'd put me on the next flight out. I knew it was canceled, so I told them that was a bad plan. They knew as well, but were trying to let the plane go without me. The main agent was awful. So rude and did not care if I was stuck in Canada all night for their technical issue from a 1pm flight. Some angel flight attendant overheard, put her foot down, hand wrote me a ticket and ran me on the plane. Got to my layover in Toronto. Spoke with a manager about the issues, she said they were all cleared up. Tried to board the plan, same thing happened again. No one in either airport knows why, but they all admitted it was an issue in their computer system and not actually with me."

Cons: "Boarding the plane I was seated in 17a next to another passenger at the back of the plane. I was told it was not a full flight 9 passengers only! Yet I was seated at the back next to another passenger?! I asked if I could move and was told I had to stay at the back to keep the plane balanced. I weigh about 100 pounds and the man next me surely weighed no more than 150. How in the world did we keep a plane with over 70 seats balanced? I was frightened and never got up imagining horrible things. To make things worse we hit turbulence on the descent and I had wondered if the lack of people or seating arrangements affected this. It was a bad flight and if weight or distribution had anything to do with it then the other seven passengers should have been rearranged accordingly. I have always been able to change my seat when flying alone. This caused me excessive anxiety and concern about the safety of this flight and plane. Pros: "Best airline I've flown with. So easy, they're so nice, plus there are some good free snacks and they drop you off right next to Toronto. Puts the American carriers to shame."

Pros: "Not sure what you're expecting from an airline that services such small towns, but I thought everything was lovely. Planes are incredibly tiny, makes the landing a little more bumpy, but at least I wasn't paying $700 for AC jazz."

And, of course, we were always told, it will be just a few more minutes each time so for three hours we were stuck, milling around @ the gate.....well actually between two gates because they kept changing gates.......waiting for the flight. If I'd know it was going to be 3 hours, I would have maybe gotten some food and wandered away to find a place that had a spot to sit. Instead, standing on one foot and then the other, hungry for three house while Air Canada got their #@%*# together and found a plane that actually functioned appropriately."

Cons: "gate assignment kept changing so i bounced through the airport more than i would have liked to since i was trying to get some work done between flights. in addition, the final gate assignment was tight to say the least; people were literally sitting on the floor next to the moving walkway. this isn't an Air Canada problem it's a Pearson problem and made the experience less than pleasant."

Cons: "I was very unhappy at check in area, long queue to check in then at the baggage area I was told by a staff member to put the baggage onto the scales then lift it onto the conveyer belt I am a 74 year old senior and I had great difficulty doing this and I was very annoyed as the staff member watched me struggle but did not offer to help. A kind passanger assisted me. This was even more annoying as I had to pay $25:00 + tax for my case."

Cons: "As every other international flight I've been on has included a lot of food/wine/beer, this was a big disappointment for two long flights. In addition there were no in flight screens. I had a laptop but it is inconvenient to have that out while trying to do things in a small space. The chairs were also really uncomfortable, more than usual."

Cons: "The fight itself was fine. Not great. Not terrible. But the airline lost my son's suitcase and has been entirely unhelpful ever since then. Now we have been stuck in a foreign country without clothes and toiletries for 36 hours and Air Canada's "helpline" has been anything but helpful. They can not find any information on the location of the suitcase and hope that they will find it in another 48 hours. Rediculous!! I will never fly them again and suggest that you save your money, effort and vacation by flying with another airline."

Cons: "After weather forced us to miss our flight to Delhi from Toronto (understandable), Air Canada booked us on an AC flight to London and then an Air India flight to Delhi from London. In Toronto they told us that we couldnt get our bags because they were in storage, but that they would be on the plane to London and then to Delhi. Upon arriving in London, Air India told us that Air Canada never booked us on their flight to Delhi - that neither of our names were on their manifest. Air India was helpful in getting Air Canada's mistake fixed. Upon arriving in India, my partners bag was nowhere to be found. It would be logical to assume that his bag was in London and never made the imaginary flight Air Canada booked us on. However, even though our bags sat in Air Canada storage for 24 hours, his bag was never even loaded onto our flight to London. He didn't receive his bag until 6 days into our trip, causing all of us to miss out on multiple experiences, including the ability to leave Delhi because of our need to get his bag and multiple missed and promised deadlines from the airline."

Pros: "Air Canada provided accommodations for me when I was informed about my removal from my connecting flight."
Cons: "I didn't enjoy the sassy customer service representative who "assisted" me in redirecting me for the next possible flight to India. She booked me for a flight to London and told me that I was also confirmed for an Air India flight from London to Delhi. This "confirmation" was false after checking in with Air India. There was no entry of me being registered for the flight. Luckily, there were enough seats to make my accommodation. The looming concern that followed was that my bag was clearly not going to be in Delhi once I arrived to my destination. This then became my reality and had to deal with not having my luggage for 6 days in India. There was blatant disregard between both airlines in trying to deliver my bag to me. They both blamed each other and refused to claim responsibility. With both refusing to claim fault, I had to fend for myself and pay for clothes and other necessities. Hands down, the WORST experience I've ever endured while traveling with any airline. I vow to never fly Air Canada and Air India ever again."

Cons: "Plane (767-300) is so old you have to use their app on your own device to watch movies. Plane is so long it takes forever for even simple beverage service to get to you, blocking aisles for hours while various carts are dragged about. Servings were mean, you could only get the can of soda if you begged, refills were also slim, and ice was a cube, maybe two. At one point I was so dry I had to page air staff to ask for more water (and I Never do that!). Food was mediocre at best. Landing, plane shook so hard I thought it would come apart! Planes like this need to be retired FAST. Last time I will fly this equipment. I'm literally going to pay all those ridiculous fees to change my return flight. Hated this exhausting, inconvenient, unpleasant and entirely too expensive experience. Don't fly Air Canada overseas!!"

Pros: "Toronto->Shanghai Good In general it was a good flight considering how long (14 hours) it was. The new entertainment system has a lot of features and movies. It also has chat to other passengers which is useful when travelling with a group sitting in different areas."
Cons: "Bad Long flight but that is the way it is. The fight map froze on my entertainment system about 1/2 through the flight so the map was useless after that. One side of my earphones also went dead. My wife wanted something better then hot noodles in a cup for the middle meal."

Cons: "The tickets we purchased should have taken us from Indianapolis to San Diego with a 2 hour-ish layover in San Francisco. Instead, we got changed to Indianapolis to San Diego with a 15 minute layover in Chicago. Our plane landed in Chicago 20 minutes early, but then we sat out on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate despite being able to see 3 or 4 open gates from our window. We didn't get to deplane until after our connecting flight was already boarding and both my fiance and I had to use the restroom really bad. Needless to say we had to literally run to catch our connecting flight."

Cons: "UA flights always get delayed and this time I failed to catch my connecting flight to London. I was rescheduled to the flight in the morning of the second day. And when we were heading for London half way, the pilot said some sensors stopped working and we had to come back to Dulles. To be honest, I will never take UA flights anymore, it is just TERRIBLE!"

Pros: "On the way to Chicago I was pleased with the staff."
Cons: "I knew I had a layover in Chicago but what I didn't know was that I would have to sit on a plane for over an hour with no air conditioning. It was incredibly hot and because of this I missed my flight to LA which took off earlier than my ticket said."

Pros: "Loading was quick and easy with smiles and greetings from hostesses"
Cons: "No drink service on either flight, dumped on jetway and had to take bus to a gate and then navigate to our new gate. This made short layover time even shorter. I flew United down there and had drink service for that led of flight with them."

Cons: "Uncomfortable, and unsafe, seat - with the bottom sagging badly on the right side at the back. Narrowly avoided having to check my hand luggage through to Nice, France, which would have been the second time on a row! Why, oh, why can't they ENFORCE the carry-on rules that are supposed to limit the size and number, as they do in Europe?! If you're in group 5, forget carry-on."

Cons: "Flight canceled. Forced us to stand in a four hour line to re-book. Phone calls not accepted. These incidents happen all the time- it is inexcusable that United handled the situation so poorly!"

Cons: "Actually I never got a flight to Seattle yesterday. My flight was cancelled and was on hold with United for over 2 hours only to have them tell me they could rebook for two days later. They said that was the only option in the whole Midwest on all airlines. I don't believe them. Horrible customer service. Ive had nothing good to say about United. I am supposed to fly through Newark tomorrow to Seattle and I hope that flight isn't cancelled because I've already missed two days of work. I am very displeased right now. No compensation either."

Pros: "So first scheduled flight canceled., I broke land speed records and paid an additional 50 dollars to get booked on an earlier leaving flight. Boom it was cancelled as well. I'm attempting to fly out at creak of dawn today! Still not home! United had alot of work to do! !!!!!"
