Hidden Insurance fees .. Be aware!Pros:Nothing, poor attendant which do not care about costumersCons:Hidden insurance fee. They required liabilities to rent the car which is not included in the price. So be aware of the prices manly the liabilities that they say that credit card do not cover.Reviewed 12 Sep. 2016

Pros:I ease of picking up. The kiosk was simple, the gentleman at the front was very receptive and quick to help.Cons:The drop off was a nightmare. At drop off the guy couldn’t get my receipt to print, so he told me to go upstairs to talk to customers service. It looked like a really busy day, but the line was a mess. The person who was suppose to help me got caught up in a CS issue that was taking rally long. The other person managing the main line just told us to stay in line and wait for this person. Another CS rep helped the person in front of us, so I went to ask if someone else could help us because this one guy was again caught up in a really long CS issue. At that point the lady with blond curly hair at the counter started yelling “HE WAS FIRST. THERES A LINE.” Which, ok I get it, but I wasn’t talking about her. I just needed to figure out why the main customer service line has been turn over 3 times and I’m still in line. I needed to catch a flight and I was running out of time. Eventually a manager came over to help and informed me all I yo there for was a receipt. I wanted 20 minutes in a CS line for a receipt. Almost missed my flight for something that could have been emailed to me. Seemed like the manager got that it he wait was unnecessary and her credited me 50 bucks on my rental. That was a good end to a not so great experience. Thanks for that.Reviewed 29 Dec. 2019

Poor customer service from managerPros:PriceCons:I reserved a car and went to pick it up at the Miami airport on Monday evening about 8pm on the 4th level. The lady who greeted me was nice however the MANAGER failed. When I approached the counter he was talking with an employee about what sounded non work related, his back was turned so I motioned to the employee for him to get the mgrs attention to atleast to let him know I'm next or if you aren't you having a discussion about work, that a customer was waiting. So the manager pretendended like he didn't see the employee's gesture (pointing to me). So I waited, about 30 secs. He's still chatting it up. So the lady passed and I said hey is the manager busy, loud enough so he can hear, she calls out to him and he finally turns around and says I'm with a customer I'll be right with you in an unfriendly manner. Now, I have no problem waiting, however the proper thing to do was to acknowledge me and let me know you'll be right with me. As a manager, his behavior was really poor. I'm there to spend my money, to patronize your business. That was flat out rude especially from the "manager". Very poor customer service. Needless to say, I didn't bother renting the car.Reviewed 28 Apr. 2016

Inexperienced Renter Impressed with AlamoPros:Here is what I learned about renting a car at MIA through Alamo. 1) The MIA website lists the car rental companies that are located in the Rental Car Center (RCC). I highly recommend one of these companies. Alamo was on this list. 2) Getting to the RCC couldn't have been easier. Get off the plane, get your bag if you have one, then get on the MIA Mover (tram) for a 3 minutes ride over to the RCC. Once you step off the tram you'll turn the corner into a spacious area where you'll find the desks for each of the car companies. Alamo's was the large one to the right. 3) Walked right up to a friendly agent who was available. She checked my reservation, did whatever she needed to do on the computer, and handed me my contract. "Floor 1, Row 5", she directed me. 4) Got on the elevator and went to floor one. Walked outside. The friendly lady at the door looked at my reservation, and pointed me to row 5. "Take any care in row 5", she said. 5) Go to Row 5 and examine about 7 or 8 similar vehicles. My wife likes the white Jetta. I like the dark gray 2019 Altima SR. I win. 6) Drive away.Cons:7) I had to return the car.Reviewed 14 Jan. 2019
