Line up was at least 60-80 people long, and not moving when I arrived. Ended up abandoning the car that I had already paid for because the line hadn't moved in an hour, and I was going to miss the wedding I had flown in for. It looked like there weren't anywhere near enough cars in the Budget parking lot as there were customers. Most of the other line ups for other car rental companies were empty. The first car we got was undrivable the front end shook so badly that we could not drive the car to California so we returned the car and got another one. Obviously maintenance was not performed on the first one. Second car shook a little bit, but not as bad as the first so we made it to California.Reviewed 14 Jan. 2023

Had to wait long time for agent to serve me, then another 15 min. While car was located. When to level where car was located, no signage no staff. Finally someone directed me in right direction, but there was no path. Garage was blocked with cars. I had to hold luggage over my head and weave through vehivhes for a considerable distance. Agent didn't say car was in aparticular space. I finally noticed it but could not locate space. I finally found a map and then had to carry my luggage overhead to get to it. Having to stand in line for 45 minutes to pick up a car with only 2 staffers at time is nobody's ideas of how to start a trip. The people working themselves were fine - but Budget was totallyt understaffed. And they know how many people are renting at a given time. I waited approx 45 - 50 minutes and the line got longer and longer as I was in it. The person assigning the vehicles in the garage was terrific and gave me a free upgrade so I could manage (I use a cane) with my luggage. That part was fine. Pick up process was a f'in NIGHTMARE.....literally took 2 HOURS from waiting in line to waiting in another LONG LINE just to get the damn car!!! They had 2 people working the intake counter and ~30 people in line waiting to get checked in. They didn’t even have cars ready. They were just giving people whatever cars were coming out of the car wash.Reviewed 13 Oct. 2022
