Good, clean car. Easy pickup and drop off. I tried to change pickup time but NO ONE answered the phone, web site was useless and eventually got a chat person who took my question, then disappeared. Hertz needs to greatly improve its communication system or go broke again!Reviewed 2 Jan. 2022

Pickup was fine, very laid back agent but the car was not cleaned on the outside, the mirror was basically broken, and the driver's seat housing was also damaged. I don't have a problem with this per se but there is always a chance you will be responsible for pre-existing damage especially if a car walk around is not performed.Reviewed 1 Jan. 2022

Herat was the worst. I was so upset. I go to where they tell me to pick a vehicle. Only a few left of Chevy trax. I paid for a midsize suv. No way on earth that is considered a mid size suv. I waited 20 min for help and not one person was around to help me. I finally see a gentleman pull up a silver Nissan Rogue. I asked him if I could take it and if it was clean. He said yes to both. Nowhere in this car was clean. The whole front bumper had bug splatter galore, finger print smudges all over the window and nothing on the inside was wiped down. Nor did this car have a hertz sticker on the door letting customers know it was clean and ready to go. I didn’t expect this from hertz but now I know.Reviewed 15 Dec. 2021

Cons:The Herz office where we booked our car through Kayak did not have any cars available. They said that a "glitch" in the system was allowing cars to be booked through Kayak and other consolidators, even though there were no cars available, even at the time of booking. This was a terrible situation, which should never have occurred. Kayak needs to work with Herz to correct the problem. I'm not inclined to use Kayak ever again. We were unable to get a car at the last minute, and had to cancel our plans.Reviewed 25 May 2021
