When we arrived at Oakland Airport to drop off the car, one of the workers saw that we were traveling with a toddler, a car seat and a lot of luggage. To save us the trouble of having to unload everything, carry it and wait for the shuttle, he drove us directly to the airport terminal in our rental car, and then returned the car for us. While this is not normally part of his job, he went above and beyond to help us. This made our day and was a great start to our Christmas holiday.Reviewed 10 Jan. 2024

They gave away my reservation to a walk in because I got stuck in traffic for 15 minutes. They had no other cars in the whole city so I was never able is use my booking.Reviewed 17 Oct. 2022

The Hertz company has a very poor standards (don’t want to use worst words). They only kept my reservation for two hours, unfortunately they didn’t specify it at the time of booking, and don’t respect flight delays. Also “extremely” poor service.Reviewed 6 Oct. 2022

Pros:The pick up location (And drop off) were not at the airport, but at a remote location that required us to Uber to that location from the airport for an additional expense.Cons:Hertz itself was fine, but Kayak should have highlighted that the rental location was not on the airport property.Reviewed 18 May 2021
