Cons:Pick up was terrible! The woman at the desk was helping a customer and socializing at the same time! She was even helping him w his itinerary. I stood in line for 20 minutes then she finally acknowledged me and told me to go to the kiosk to check in and get my car!!!!!! So rude!!! I will go back to Enterprise and pay a little more. Inflated promisesCons:I know that all car rentals say (car model) "or similar", but Kayak misrepresented the size of the car in that class. Because of this, Hertz didn't have inventory to fill the reservation. I had to rent from another vendor to meet my needs and it cost more. Kayak, please get your act together.Reviewed 7 Mar. 2017

Disappointing for hertzPros:Price was okCons:They advertised a Toyota in both cases and ended up With lesser substitute twice. The $9 a gal fill up is really taking advantage of customers. Poor service and a badly maintained carPros:Car headlights were FAR out of adjustment, dangerously so! Debit Card issuesPros:Car was fine, no problems.Cons:Website says you can use debit card, but you get there and they refuse to allow you to use a debit card, so you have to use a credit card. This is misleading and false advertising, and can be extremely inconvenient if you don't happen to have a backup credit card prepared.Reviewed 4 Jan. 2017
