Kayak sent confirmation email with address to pick up at airport. At airport car was not there, Payless said Expedia manages rental call them. Expedia provides customer support for this kayak booking. Neither kayak nor Expedia would provide any customer support, could not get human on phone. Had to Uber 8 miles to different rental location. Kayak misrepresented booking and uses fraudulent business practices.Reviewed 17 Oct 2025

The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a rental car company. Kayak should consider removing them from their search results. This company does not treat customers with respect. I actually never picked up my rental because no one was at the counter and I called them and a manager was supposed to come help me. I waited for 2hrs and at 1am I said forget it and got a car from Avis. There were half a dozen others in my situation with Payless. Horrendous service and total disrespect to paying customers.Reviewed 25 Dec 2023
