7 hour delay poorly handled by airline

Cons: "Poor organization, 2 hour line to check your bag, crowding due to lack of communication and organization at the gate, slow luggage boarding. All of which led to a 45 minute delay sitting on a hot and unairconditioned flight followed by a missed connection and 6 hour wait at the next airport. There was no entertainment inflight, so nothing there to rate. The staff were pleasant under the conditions. Nothing else was positive."

Cons: "The flight could have been on time. not only was the plane late arriving, but then the didn't take off for another hour! have never flown an airline that refuses to take off because of a little rain.... :-("

Pros: "The personnel AFTER passport control was wonderful, both airport and United. Passport control workers failed to recognize or help move us through to be able to board in time while they allowed other passengers to go ahead who had same departure. Plane waited 30 mins past take off for us."
Cons: "Brussels airport staff at pass control needed to acknowledge departure concerns to prevent plane delay of takeoff. Many passengers missed their connection in Chicago because of our delay boarding due to pass control wait and lack of help."

Cons: "There was someone that pooped themselves, another that threw up, and the flight attendants were so rude. They kept spraying stuff in the air and even those of us sitting, so much in fact I had an asthma attack and had to use my inhaler. When I told the attendant, she said "theres nothing I can do," and kept spraying the air with this awful spray. The flight harmful to my health, exhausting, and uncomfortable. BEWARE OF THIS AIRLINE! I would have preferred not gone on my trip then fly this airline!"

Cons: "Just about everything. Not only were both flights delayed, one without notice, both the check-in and boarding processes were obscenely long with no obvious reason. On board, the staff was very pleasant but took almost 20 minutes to respond to a page and I only paged them one time. The screens for entertainment had a lot of trouble reading touch for both my seatmate and I and the selections were very limited. My seat did not recline which made for a very uncomfortable flight as I had hoped to be able to sleep. They lost one of my bags and somehow still have not found it more than 36 hours later."

Cons: "I was not allowed to get on board even though the plane was sitting at the airport still and it was the airlines delay that I made me late."
Cons: "Late departure in Brussels with confusing and inaccurate information. The food was tasteless, my kids and I hardly ate anything because of it. The in-flight entertainment options were pretty limited. Once again, the flight crew was not very friendly or service minded."

Cons: "The flight left 30 minutes after it was scheduled to leave. In addition, when we landed, they weren't prepared for us. We had to wait for the stairs and shuttle to arrive to get us to the airport terminal. It was especially frustrating because we had nearly no time to get to our connecting flight. The hosts and hostesses were mediocre at best."

Cons: "We weren't allowed access to fill empty water bottles before boarding the plan. The plane made a stop at Kigali, Rwanda, where it was cleaned, resupplied and picked up passengers. It was almost 4 hrs. before we were offered water to drink. Drinking water is vital for maintaining health while travelling."
Cons: "The flight was canceled. I found out the day before my departure - the airlines didn't even contact me to let me know - and I never got reimbursed for the canceled flight. I had to purchase a $1500 new ticket to get back home in time. I wrote to the Brussels Airlines and they never addressed these complains."

I expect full compensation"
Pros: "The flight attendants were friendly; food was decent; seats were not that comfortable and a bit too close ; in flight entertainment was okay; bathrooms okay but could be cleaner"
Pros: "Flight was canceled and I believe it was canceled before I got on the flight in New York. They should have told me that the second leg was canceled. I suspect they knew that because I was not issued a boarding pass for the second leg when I checked in at New York."
