Cons: "What other business can function like an airline. Late? Who cares? Miss your next flight? Who cares? Cancelled flight? You deal with it. Unfortunately, there is no recourse."

We all later got an email saying we'd receive a discount on future travel because the airline deemed the delay "preventable." We got a second plane quickly, on the second boarding process the gate agent failed to do preboarding. I'm on crutches at the moment, so this meant more time on my feet manoeuvring around "elite status members" than I would have liked."

I was going to take the Alaska Airline to go to Vancouver, but I couldn't board the flight because I didn't have a visa for Cannada. You should notice me if I need the visa or not when I booked this flight. Because of this, I should change the flight which took extra charge. Moreover, I lost my baggage between this situation."

Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights."

Will never fly with American after their abysmal attempt to keep us safe. I did not feel safe for a second on that horrendous flight. Definitely getting a COVID test and I will know where I got it from if I test positive. Also the seats are uncomfortable and it was a very bumpy flight (I understand that part cannot be avoided). I don’t understand how you cancel flights and bump people to other flights only for them to be SUPER packed. I thought at the rate of cases rising airlines should be doing a better job at taking safety precautions. Not American. Why do they think it’s a safe idea at this time to have my wife and I packed in with a total stranger for four hours? No social distancing whatsoever! Overall I cannot say a single good thing about this flight. Worst in my entire life"

I lost valuable time at the airport and almost missed the flight. Chaotic and unexpected baggage problems before boarding to Dallas: the board luggage, same as we had on the way over, was not accepted and had to be checked in. Problem since we had to move laptop, etc. before the actual boarding. Attendants not as professional as they should be. Also seats were changed -- I was not able to sit with my daughter who regularly gets travel sickness. Overall not a good experience. But the worst: changing airlines and not being informed!!!!"

I'm not sure how much of an influence the airline has on the airport part of it all, but the check-in process was good. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."

THEN the announcement ON BOARD that the flight would make a REFUELING stop in Bangor Maine (the eqpt was a 20 yr old 757 meant for a medium-range domestic route instead of Paris-NY). So it was FOUR HOURS LATE arriving, including an extra hour on the ground in Bangor because they'd lost their landing slot (tho they lied about "bad weather" at JFK) ... a succession of lies and incompetence. Headphone jack didn't even work at the seat ... the movie was a US film dubbed into French anyway! Gawd what incompetence. A letter Fedexed to Doug Parker, AA's CEO, was not even acknowledged.... and I do 35,000 air miles a year on AA. THE WORST."

Cons: "The flight leaving Houston was delayed by over an hour due to some problems finding another captain for the flight thus extending the layover time by at least four hours. As a result I didn't get back to Toronto until around 12:30 in the morning. Otherwise everything else was fine."

Cons: "Flight delayed until 8pm then sat on the plane in Toronto for 45 minutes waiting for a gate and because we were sent to a parking area with numerous other planes and ended up getting boxed in and couldn’t get to our gate earlier. Nothing offered to the passengers during this time, not even water."

Cons: "First leg delayed as was the flight getting there. Had to rebook flying all night on 3 flights with 2 children. My daughter saw that second original flight out of San Francisco was also delayed. We went back to customer service and got back on our original flight arriving home later than planned but if we hadn't of noticed it we would gave been 4 hours later getting in and transferring from 3 planes. Blamed on sf construnction...why would you 's hedule a flight into an area that is under construction. Huge delays of all planes really made me wonder what the heck united is doing. No confidence!"

Cons: "They must have changed my seat multiple times. Originally i was given the first seat. Then changed to 11d. However when i scanned my boarding pass the lady indicated i was in an exit row. 11d was of course occupied. So i moved from seat to seat in the exit row (8) until i finally got the only empty seat which was presumably mine."

Cons: "Flight was delayed. Time was posted at gate for new time. Went to get dinner and when we returned to gate saw that the time had been moved UP from previous anouncement and practically missed our flight."

Cons: "Tight seating for transatlantic flight. More importantly avoid Toronto at all costs. Need to clear customs and go back through security again on a connecting flight. Takes forever. Food was not good at all."

Cons: "The day we were to return to San Francisco United cancelled our flight making us scramble to get another flight. Thank goodness for Alaska. They got us a return flight and went to Seattle instead of San Fransico. United and San Francisco is a joke. Never again."
