Cons: "Boarding in San Jose was v poor. Gate '4a and 4b'are exit through the same door. 2 flights boarding at same time. Chaos from exit gate down ramp and on Tarmac. P A system echoes and is very hard to hear so passengers for Oakland 4b and to Vancouver 4a we're crowding the gate together. Only One member of airport Staff struggling to direct the large crowd."

Cons: "The reasons that I book with Westjet are that the attendants joke with each other, appear to really enjoy their jobs, and provide over the top customer service. On this flight no one was jovial or smiling, the garbage sat on our trays for the majority of the flight. The attendants spoke to each other more than the passengers. Very disappointing!"

Pros: "The breezy, confident preflight announcements of the crew, including (from the Captain) "We are flying into Kelowna today, where the weather is always awesome even though it is a bit overcast and 5 degrees C..." and from the flight attendant on landing, "We have arrived in Kelowna. If you live here--Lucky You! You are almost home! And if you don't live here, welcome to the Okanagan! We hope you enjoy your stay." I was only disappointed that the sentence including 'lucky you' was not included in the French translation. C'est d'hommage..."

Pros: "The West Jet reps everywhere were calm, cool, and friendly. I thought they were terrific. In Edmonton, the women from West Jet did their best to help and keep the waiting disgruntled passengers informed. In Kelowna, when I discovered my luggage was still in Calgary, the West Jet rep was cheerful and helpful. How could I possibly be annoyed?"
