The plane was very warm and stuffy, overhead air jet running very weakly: disconcerting when Covid is still a real concern. ie: fresh air would be nice. On arrival, a 15 minute wait once the plane was stopped at the gate before the door was opened to let passengers leave. Then a 50 minute wait for luggage.

He also let me open my computer to show him my return ticket and then he was telling me to give him ticket number when there was no ticket number on the itinerary. I did not like the vegetarian sandwich the bread was too hard and dry and the vegetables was mediocre."

Cons: "I was saving my food for later. It was on the tray table. It was removed when I was sleeping. I woke up just in time to asked her before the attendant moved. She reported that she would get me a fresh one. I supposed she had already mixed it with the trash why she promised a fresh one. She never kept her promise. I mentioned it when I was coming off and was told that I was going to get cheese and crackers but what was supposed to happen did not matter that she told me that because it did not happen. I put the cup on the other tray table because it wad trash. The sandwich was close to me. Other than my gripe over my food taken away, I have no complaints. My expectation was exceeded."
Quick loading, clean plane, enough room, nice cabin crew, pilots routed through the turbulence and good landing, on time departure, early arrival so nothing to complain about. Did not try the food or the entertainment as it was a short flight.
The food was horrible It was too crowded An hour delay sitting on the plane before a 12 hour flight A morning flight, flying all day long in the dark as if we could sleep again after a night sleep
The plane was late boarding and late arriving. Apparently no gate available causing a missed connection and overnight stay in a city with no hotels available! Communication with Air Canada was horrible, status updates from employees was horrible (until it was too late), customer service attendants were very slow and acted like it was no big deal for people to miss holiday time with their families. Overall, Air Canada treatment was less than 2nd class.
There was a delay in the flight and I was informed after midnight couple of hours before take off.
Being unable to use my debit to pay for food made it very embarrassing when I asked for a meal and they gave me one only to take it away while everyone around me ate even though I had money they just weren't allowed to take debit and could only take credit. It wasn't fair.
The stewardesses with the food trolley practically ran down the aisle, and never offered food to anyone. Maybe we were supposed to flag them down? Also: No Wifi. Sad on a cross-country flight.
Very cold flight, was frozen on it for entire time. I fly with Air Canada quite often and this was one of the coldest flight I had in a while. Also for some months already they don't seeve any free snacks like they used to. I know on other routes they still do, so not sure what's the reason.
Screens on seats and power USB outlets did not work. Very cramped and no room. Seats and plane did not look cleaned My partner and I were not seated together even though tickets were bought together. Food was unappetizing

Upon entering the Newark airport, the first United person we met trying to check our bags was the rudest person I have ever met from United. Set the tone for the day. Every employee that I met from then on was better, but that initial impression created by this woman that did not like her job stuck with me.

Our departure was delayed roughly 1 hour for unavoidable reasons, but we made up most of the time in the air, so we did not miss our connection."

Cons: "We were asked to be at the airport 8hrs ahead of time, so we arrived 3am. United desk workers arrived at 4am."
