Better job economic explaining what to With luggage and that, while itinerant implies 1 airline, they are only partners and should be treated separately."

We were re-booked on connecting flights different then the one we originally booked and weren't even notified. They have a Delta app, but it doesn't even work right. Unless you physically go to the gate to check to see if the flight is on time, that is the only was to find out if you are re-booked onto a different flight or not. I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

Not airlines fault and likely result of holiday backlog Retrieving baggage from plane was biggest issue - use a carry on to but was required to valet bag as opposed to storing overhead. Baggage unloading was late (again, holiday backlog) but no personnel were available to inform passengers of delay, and bags were not in initial cart. Resulted a delay of offloading by roughly 20 minutes. Was ultimately found in the second wave of luggage, and witnessed baggage handlers tossing luggage carelessly onto cart floor. Nothing was damaged but was annoyed at lack of communication and overall disorganization."

Since I knew before leaving YYZ we were quite delayed my husband drove to ORD to pick me up instead of waiting 24hr for the next flight to St. Louis. They said the 'code share' blocks seat sales! Be ware Also found out that American Airlines does not serve meals on flights from Toronto to LAX. I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Unfortunately they only had 4 sandwiches on board , which sold within the first 2 rows of the plane!"

Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

They ran out of sandwiches/fruit and cheese plates by the first few rows in the main cabin. No earbuds available for those who needed them. Cramped seating. This flight was with BA partner American Airlines"

Cons: "Boarding could be a little frustrating because groups 3 4 5 were 1 lane and there wasn't a lot of room in the airport. Also, there wasn't a lot of time to get from one side of the airport to the other to stop at the restroom and get a real meal, since there was nothing served on the previous flight. Due to turbulence there was nothing served on the flight, which is beyond the control of the crew. They knrw ahead of time about the turbulence, perhaps they could have quickly passed out pretzels or cookie before the flight took off."

Cons: "United's flight was delayed five hours going to Nashville and on the return flight was delayed over an hour. I have yet to be on a flight with United that was on time. I've learned my lesson and will NOT fly United again."

Cons: "Flight got delayed, 2 hours stuck on runway, made us go back to the gate deplane and out of nowhere replane while deplaning. Resulted in a 3 hours delay, missed my connection in SFO and took me 5 more hours to reach my final destination Seoul (with an additional stopover). Crew were lost, we were too, and the 30 Koreans (who doesn’t speak English) in my plane were even more than me !"

Cons: "They did not load enough fuel so we had to wait. Then we taxied for ten minutes or more. Took off t0 minuted late. Landed 35 minutes late but waited 25 minutes for gate then 20 minutes for bags"

Pros: "Flight was stuck on tarmac in Denver for 45 minutes. Missed connection Air hostess was very friendly throughout"

Cons: "There were no Tvs on a 5 hour flight. We had to be put on 3 different flights, and are hours late. United proved the rumors are true!"

Pros: "The crew on my 2 united flights on me way to Phoenix were extremely professional. One of my flight attendants, Carolyn (from Chicago) was excellent. United is not usually know for its great reviews, but I was very impressed. I will fly United again!"

Pros: "The crew was again nice enough to find an empty seat next to mine."
Cons: "The layover was very short. Fortunately, the gates were very close together. However, since I didn't have time to get lunch in the terminal, I had a snack box for lunch, too. This was rather monotonous. There aren't enough chocolate choices on the snack menu. There were no limes for my beverage. There was no in-flight entertainment available. I had hoped to finish the movie I started on the first leg."

Cons: "No wifi... with the amount you pay for the flight, seems insane you have to pay for wifi too"

Cons: "The flight crew was rude, walking through the aisle sounding bossy, not courteous. I've flown united in the past and not had issues but on both united flights this trip, highly disappointed in the experience."

Cons: "I was connected to the free inflight wifi but couldn't get any movies to actually load."

Pros: "The best part was relaxing at the United Club before the flight. I will try and book flights with United and go to the club especially when returning home."
Cons: "We volunteered to take a later flight if needed. It was a little chaotic, but the ground crew did an excellent job getting us on the flight."

Cons: "I didn't like how we left more than two hours late. United always pulls this kind of thing. The flight was overbooked, so we weren't going anywhere until people volunteered to take later flights. To allow enough time for someone to volunteer, aircraft maintenance was 'required', a scenario I have seen on a few other United flights. Honestly, I will never fly United again and am cancelling my future flights in favor of taking the train instead. It takes eight hours instead of a theoretical 1.5 hours, but at least it is reliable and not much worse than the ACTUAL time it takes to fly United. Worst airline ever. Barf."

Cons: "I never feel you stay alert to make sure the earlier people don't take up all the overhead bins . It is not right the way you allow them to overload have too many big carryons"

Cons: "I put 3's on food and entertainment because it wasn't used partially due to availability. I wasn't able to download app and personal headphones ended up being checked due to small plane so couldn't listen to anything. I wasn't partial to food options so didn't get to eat"

Cons: "I was really upset when I was told at airport that my direct flight was changed to connecting flight. Plus I requested a wheelchair due to medical issues on my hip and I was not provided any wheel chair on Vancouver."

Cons: "I did not go to Edmonton, and was not notified. They placed me on a non stop from Vancouver to Chicago. It was lucky that I caught the change."

Pros: "The flight attendant was great! Pleasant, polite and professional!"
Cons: "The flight from ORD to ABE was on a plane with expired maintenance logs or inspections? We were delayed 2 hours in arriving for what seemed like a pilots lax in paperwork. But what does a customer expect from an airline who knows they that customer by the balls?"

Cons: "Air Canada was completely unhelpful offering no reason and no help rebooking on the spot. I had to buy direct from United for over $500 to get home. Air canada have still not responded to my request for an explanation, and compensation."
