As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

I explained this to the airline staff, but they did not care. I think they should have first asked for volunteers; and if still needed, then randomly select people to check in the carry-on. Also they only were making people with the “suitcase” carry-on to check them in....anyone with a duffle-looking bag was not even bothered. Luckly, I’m mange to make my train connection, but I was running to do this...not fun at all."

I have flown on many airlines, but these planes were by far the worst. Cheap price, for a reason. The seats didn’t recline, the food was terrible, no options were given for food, and the movies were pre-picked. No one had a choice in what they watched. Very outdated. I had 2.5 hours to board my connecting flight and they caused me to miss it. As I waited in the customs line entering Lisbon, I asked a TAP representative if I’d have to get out of the line up and go right through as my flight left at 2:10 pm. They said you will make it, stay in line. I get near the front of the line 2 hours later... hundreds of people were in this line and they only had 2/10 customs agents available!!! I ask another representative how far my gate is since my flight leaves in 30 min and she told me “no you missed it. but don’t worry others will be missing it too”. So no I did not miss it, you caused me to miss it cause I already asked if I would and you people told me no. I run to the gate, which has now changed to the other end of the airport, so I run to that gate and it is 10 min before the flight is to take off. I ask the desk agent at the gate and he tells me the flight has already left. Others had missed it too due to the insane customs line up. So the plane left 20 mins earlier than scheduled with only half it’s passengers..... unbelievable!!! When I went to the service desk they did not show any sympathy or apologetic behaviours whatsoever."

Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Additionally patient with emergencies are waiting to see my husband tomorrow and Tuesday but will not be able to because he stuck at the airport! Pros: "I was a bit hesitant to fly Ethiopian Air for such a long flight (Dublin to LAX) however it turned out to be the best leg of multi-segment trip (all other flights were Aer Lingus or Delta and Ethiopian Air was far superior to both of those carriers). Flight attendants were friendly, the physical space was comfortable and spacious, the food was plentiful and delicious. Movies offered were relatively new and the IFE worked well. This flight is a continuation from Addis Ababa to LAX so when we boraded in Dublin most people were already onboard. It was a bit difficult to find space in the overhead bins but with a little rearranging of smaller packages by other passengers, we were able to fit our carry-ons in the overhead bin near our seats."

Cons: "Ethiopian Air almost did not let me on the flight because I didn't have a return ticket through Ethiopian Air. Almost missed my flight, and was forced to purchase a return flight just so that I could make my flight. According to them, passport control would not let me into Cape Town without it, but customs never once asked for my return flight information."

Cons: "I wasn't able to use the in flight entertainment at all."

Cons: "Other travelers kept walking through our aisle, which was not an aisle. Therefore I was constantly getting bumped in the middle of the night waking me up. This area needs to be roped off to make other passengers walk around as to not disturb people sitting in that row. I arrived at my destination completely exhausted due to lack of sleep. Ethiopian Air provides horrible service."

Pros: "Seat sizes were okay and the boarding times were on time."

Pros: "Comfortable airline but on the small side. It was perfect for the price."
Cons: "Kosher food was poor. I know there are higher quality options from Israel, Johannesburg, Frankfurt, etc. This meal was from Antwerp and was not nice at all."

Pros: "I like it when I was ushered to Sheba Mile Lounge to relax after a long flight from Dulles. And the food served was really a plus."
Cons: "I was pissed off because I should have been given a place to rest provided I had a 9 hour layover. The flight to Nairobi was delayed making me wait more longer with no clear communication. We have to board the plane in a different gate not the gate we were supposed to use hence causing alot of unneccesary movement which was tiresome. I hope there will be improvement in the future on this timing issues. This is not my first experience but 2nd one"

Pros: "Great crew as usual. The new 787s are really nice - spacious bathrooms, etc."
Cons: "Packed flight, even though the plane is pretty new, it was really dirty, broken entertainment system. boarding always sucks with Ethiopian. and the Addis airport is always, always a complete nightmare."
