Cons: "Flight arrived over 40 min late and despite my connecting flight still being connected to the gate I was told I couldn’t board. There were 5 people trying to connect to the same flight so it’s pretty rediculous that we were told to rebook when the plane didn’t leave the gate for 15 more minutes. This was the call of the airline and it was handled poorly. The rebooking agent was also extremely rude and seemed totally self absorbed. This was my worst flying experience out of approximately 50 flights this year. Never again American."

Cons: "More than 24 passengers on the flight from LAX to Chicago lost their connection to Venice After we landed in Chicago with 2 hours delays we all run to catch our flight to Venice and we got there 5 minutes after the flight was supposed to leave but was still there instead but we were denied access and send back to customer service"

Compared to security staff overseas, the U.S. rates the lowest of the 55+ countries I've visited. It does not reflect badly on American Airlines, but it does give travelers a bad lasting impression. As an American, I'm embarrassed by their behavior."

Our family of 5, including 2 children were placed each in a different location. The 2 men, average size, 5'9" were placed in window seats that required your head to be bent to the side because the wall curves over and the seat was so narrow. Everyone was hanging over each other's seat. There was no leg room. Everyone on the plane was upset and in disbelief that for 7 hours we would have to fly like that. Spending thousands of dollars, I did not expect this extremely closterphobic conditions. I would have paid extra for better seats. Not a happy customer."

Had i known I would be flying with AA, I would have opted for a more expensive option as I've a great disdain for AA. My flight from JFK was not the model aircraft I was promised and thus did not have ac chargers or Wifi in the plane. In my opinion, I was bait and switched via Kayak"

Cons: "What poor services all round. The check in staff where on the phone or talk to themselves. No one even spoke to me at checkin. Then the boarding staff were so rude, they act like they own the plane and they are god. They would not answer anyone questions and just pointed at the screen. The airplane staff hello at least. But the food very so bad, even easyjet has better food. Also their understanding for the english was so poor but the air stewardess told me " we speak American" !!!!"

Cons: "Delayed leaving ATL, sat on the Tarmac for 30 mins. Leaving CLT was delayed 1.5 hrs for mechanical issue because it problem occurred during a shift change. Also was never given the opportunity to choose a seat assignment on CLT-BDL so I ended up in the very last middle seat."
