Austrian Airlines help and service was fine, but Kayak misled us into believing we had purchased a Business Class ticket. In fact, the tickets were only upgraded Coach Class tickets with luggage restrictions that belonged to the Coach Class. Very disappointed! Paid over $$$$ 9K for the two tickets. Very disappointing!
Quick and organized boarding process, friendly staff but not as many snacks and drinks as the previous flight overnight
Landing was a little hard. Food was not great. No options.

WiFi would have been nice and some more powerful usb ports, available ports could not keep my phone’s charge much less charge the phone.
Not so good. I paid for a preference economic seat, and I couldn’t incline it back because it was blocked. They explained me that because is the last before emergency exit. The company new that but it was not explained in the seat selection
It was on time. Snacks could have been provided for free.
Tirana was crazy check in and getting bussed to another gate. Both Germany stops were intensive customs but organized, but that wasn't the airlines problem. The crews were fabulous on the planes. The announcements were not easy to understand in English, slurred speech. Customs inthe US were fast. We waited for luggage, three later arriving planes had their luggage and left before us
Business class old style from 10 years ago. Ok for short flights but nor for 12 hours journey. The passenger near the window have to jump over the passenger seat aisle side or wake him up to upright the seat. That’s not the business class that you expect on long night flight. Seats are not so confortable. And believe it or not no wifi!
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.
Flight delayed by 90 min making for a 2 am check in at destination hotel.
On-time boarding, departure, and flight. Electronic notifications about bags for the whole of their own journey too - from when they got accepted into the system through to being loaded onto the plane and then finally being disgorged onto the right carousel. That was an excellent feature.
Flying in the Dreamliner is always comfortable. Though the food options for Air Canada aren't great.
I did not noticed baggage was separate - I had assumed international flights included luggage, so it surprised me I had to pay to check a bag.
Everything could have been better from the planes not being delayed to the rudeness of staff to it was just horrible will not use kayak again or Air Canada I can't see what would ever change my mind now
Business class was not worth the extra charge. Overpriced for slightly larger seat. Nothing special. Small older plane.
Flight got delayed for no reason. And Air Canada was doing 3 boardings via the same gate. It was chaotic!
Bad experience flying with air Canada . Seats not comfortable . Checked bag was delayed and was bought home next day by airport employee. Had to buy toiletries since bag was delayed . No compensation was even suggested . Will not fly air canada again
I n the Toronto airport I had trouble finding my zone. It was 47. I went from Zone 1 to the end of the line.didn't find it. Then saw my zone somewhat by accident over by where you first come in. Signs could be more helpful or more personnel directing people like me.
When I came in the front door in Montreal airport I didn't know where to go, first time traveling. Signs were not directing me.
Not bad. We had preboarding tickets but the preboarding was badly managed. We lined up behind all the parents with little kids etc and when we got to the front of the line the attendant deliberately turned away from us and ignored us until I asked to be allowed to go to the gate. She started telling us that we had to wait until I told her we had preboarding then she let us through.
Everything well done and customer oriented There entertainment system is difficult to navigate
Small plane, only two bathrooms, no screen for videos. Not wide enough seats
They delayed my flight from Toronto Pearson for one hour and Frankfurt to Abuja for 2HRS, So sad
My flight was late from US to Frankfurt so I missed my connecting flight flight and I had to wait for long to catch the next flight which was very tiring. Otherwise everyone was very nice.
The aircraft was old, there was no charging sockets, and the seats were narrow and uncomfortable even though I had exit row premium seats.
The service was really good. The breakfast food could’ve been better as I don’t eat sweets for breakfast and the only choice was a muffin. Overall, good experience though. Thank you.
There was more leg room than on the overseas flight, which was nice. Boarding was very well organized and the flight very comfortable.
Excellent staff and flight experience. Would rather that I had upgraded to Premium Economy for extra space, but I will know to do it next time.
I arrived late in Frankfurt and I had to catch my flight to Vienna and I was running late because when I was landing the flight to Vienna was boarding. I had to go through immigration and then I had to wait in a long line to take a bus to a terminal where my flight to Vienna was taking off. However, I truly didn't think I would make it. I was literally running through the whole airport and when I stopped to ask at one of the Austrian Airlines gates they were rude because they didn't have the time to support me.
