Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "The crew was ok, very uncomfortable seat, I had an isle seat and everyone bumped into my shoulder. I never had to pay for checked baggage in a transatlantic flight, it’s not my first time flying. I was also asked to check my carry on, to what I declined for personal reasons."
Pros: "We were boarding with one person in a wheelchair. They were extremely helpful and understanding."
Cons: "All was perfect"
Pros: "Great plane B 787"
Cons: "Paid online for food and most choices gone Overpriced"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "Overhead bin storage too small for 70% of passengers. Crew had an attitude that was not pleasant"
Pros: "Slightly frayed due to weather- we were kept up to date"
Pros: "The onboard flight crew were very friendly."
Cons: "We were traveling with an infant and there was no pre boarding call. They took wheelchairs and then just started zone 1. The seats are so uncomfortable, it feels like a lot of the padding has been removed for weight. I am 6’2” and there is just not enough room to sit comfortably in a 3 seat row. If we can avoid flying Rouge , we do."
Pros: "The Toronto to Victoria service was a good one earlier but now with Air Canada Rouge service is not very comfortable and the best choice given that it a long flight. No Onboard entertainment, uncomfortable seats."
Pros: "Held plane"
Cons: "Both Air Canada flights were late The agent responsible for boarding was an angry person"
Pros: "I liked the staff on the flight. The flight had some nice"
Cons: "I didn’t like the food options, Air Canada used to have tasty food!"
Cons: "Cancelled one flight, then delayed another one because they were waiting for a pilot. They offered very little help, citing that they couldn’t control the weather, meanwhile WestJet is finding & paying for rooms, shuttle buses and taxis to make the delay more tolerable and less stressful. We could only watch and wish we were flying WestJet."
Cons: "Flight left two hours late and provided difficulty in Toronto"
Pros: "I liked how the crew was helpful and wanted to help everyone with their luggage. they didn’t disturb me in my sleep and didn’t walked around a lot. The flight timing was on time and it landed on time as well so that was very satisfying."
Cons: "I didn’t like the sitting of the airplane. It looks more like sitting in a local bus and its not very spacious. On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "5 h delay in MDT and 10 h delay in Toronto. Absolutely terrible"

Pros: "the team helpful"
Cons: "nothing"
Pros: "No wasted time, they load you up and get you where you want to be."

Cons: "Delayed, missed connection"
Pros: "plenty of room, media player, wifi, nice selection of snacks and meals."
Pros: "Flight attendant was helpful when I had a personal health issue."
Cons: "Pay for snacks on a 5 hour flight? What do you really get for a ticket that cost over $500. US? I paid for noodle soup. They gave me a fork to eat it after they bumped into me and spilled the hot liquid on my sleeve and slacks. Then when I went to eat it I realized that the noodles were not cooked through. they were rubbery. the liquid was tasty, but with a fork how much can you taste. Ended up giving it back after eating about 1/4 of it. Seats had no leg room even though was a larger plane. Had restless leg from the very beginning. Legs were in pain the whole time."
Pros: "We got to Toronto"
Cons: "Those seats are tight. Also, the crew at the Toronto airport seemed to get mixed up a bit showing us where the transfer queue was."
Pros: "Each had own entertainment screen per passenger"
Cons: "My luggage was left in Houston and that was very inconvenience. And it took a day and a half before it came."
Pros: "Not too crowded"
Cons: "Flight was late by over an hour."
Pros: "Staff were good, probably doing the best they could with what they had to work with."
Cons: "I'm 6'4" and a Air Canada Rouge 737 isn't built for guys/girls like me. Give us a bit more legroom!"
Cons: "Paying for checked luggage. You should include that in the ticket price for ease of getting through check in. Plus there was not alot of wickets open during the check in period causing a mass buildup of flyers."
Pros: "The airline was aware we were held up in the transit from the boston flight to the victoria flight and made some effort to hold the gate open for us. We made it with one minute to spare."
Cons: "The airport security were helpful in the end, but our our struggle to get from the boston flight to the victoria flight was a nighmare. We had to beg at each intersection to get through lines so that we could get to our flight. Is ther no way to streamline this process? It colours the journey with stress beyond belief. I cannot send my mother on any such trips because of this."
Cons: "Plane way too cold, seat would not recline"
Pros: "Short enough flight."
Cons: "Entirely too little leg-room. Crew kept banging my elbow and knee with food cart-didn't really care either."

Cons: "2 out of 4 of my meals were incorrect. I had asked for vegan meals and 2 of them were clearly not vegan."
Pros: "The entertainment system was fine as far as selection goes."
Cons: "The stewardesses were ranged from okay to outright grumpy though I understand how difficult it is to always be pleasent when working long hours in a confined space in the customer service industry they still failed me on this."
Pros: "good movie selection"
Cons: "The seats are small and I was wedged in the middle. There was little to no water service. Only one drink cart and as I was at the back it took 1 hour and 45 minutes into the flight to get a glass of water. Terrible."
Pros: "Transatlantic flight with charge for a beer? No free entertainment, not even audio? $10 for iPad rentals? Macaroni & Cheese as main dish?"
Cons: "An hour delay and mix up at which loading gate. Received ten minutes of free wi fi as compensation. Food would have been better as wi fi didn't work."
Pros: "all good, air canada is so much better than any us airlines"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had to pay again for the priority seats on the rescheduled flights, but still have not gotten refund on the priority seats on the cancelled flights."
Pros: "Plane and crew were great"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Cancelling flights , lying about reasons why, running away from customers when the flight finally after 10 hours was canceled"
Pros: "All of our luggage arrived at our destination in a timely manner. Staff was helpful."
Cons: "Checking in our suitcase took exceptionally long."
Pros: "Smooth boarding. Polite staff."
Cons: "Check-in person did not attach priority tag to luggage (business class) until i argued with her. This is the second time Air Canada has done this. We paid a lot extra for this service and should not have to quibble with staff in order to receive it. There was no lounge in Charlottetown, but that's not the airline's fault. However, the Air Canada lounge at Pearson was shabby and poorly outfitted. Shameful."
Pros: "All crews were nice and friendly."
Cons: "1 bathroom for entire coach class? Consistent line of 4-5 and sitting in the back meant someone standing next to me. Turbulence mandated seating generated overt unhappiness from many passengers."
Pros: "On time. Luggage arrived within minutes. Great Service."
Pros: "Every thing was on time. I really like booking with kayak...so simple"
Cons: "Air canada doesn't give a snack with your drink...where as west jet does."
Pros: "Boarding and food was good"
Cons: "Entertainment options were out of date and"
Pros: "Food tasted good"
Cons: "How close together the seats were."
Pros: "Flights were all on time, crew and staff was very nice. Food was better then other flights I've been on."
Cons: "Seats were so uncomfortable, smaller and did not recline as much as other air canada airplanes I have been on. There was no entertainment for the almost 7 hour flight unless you uploaded the app prior to boarding which we were not told and could not because our devices, or you rented a tablet (which for this long of a flight it shold be included). The cabin was warm and stuffy with not much airflow which made my motionsickness worse and the plane was all on one setting so I could not control anything."
Cons: "The flight was 4 1/2 hours late with no prior notification."
Cons: "Could not reserve seats at purchase."
