Cons: "the 2 stewardesses disappeared as soon as the flight was in the air. i upgraded to business class in what was a huge waste of money. the fact that they do not make alcohol available in business class is pure laziness, and these people are loving it. keep in mind that you can have water juice and pop. i was given the water i asked for after take off, and then she promptly disappeared for the entire 3 hours. she only returned when i pushed the call button. not good."

Pros: "My flight was fine - I paid for a Premium Seat, which also allowed me a premium boarding position, which I highly recommend for anyone flying. The seat was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and I really liked the in-flight entertainment."
Cons: "At the DFW security post for my gate, there was NO TSA-pre. That service stops at 7pm. I would think at a major airport like DFW where American Airlines has a hub, they would make sure to staff that longer. Just getting to keep my shoes on, while having to drag all my electronics and liquids out, take my coat and belt off, etc. is not acceptable. AA should put the pressure on DFW to treat their customers better!"

Pros: "I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to text via free WiFi in the sky. Oddly, this same service is unable to be acquired, once you’re in the United States. Leave it to Mexico, a beautiful country that’s struggling with so much poverty, to offer up free internet service instead of some silly $20 per flight deal which occurs once you cross into (at least on the surface) the wealthy, not so poverty stricken, USA! AMERICA! America, the same America that the side of the plane you’re flying in, is so proudly representing. Rich, powerful, fair America needs the extra $20!"

Pros: "I liked the expediency of being rescheduled for another flight and the kindness of the American Airlines staff. When I first received my boarding pass, the pass listed gate A24 as the one where my flight was scheduled to depart. The plane destined to depart from Dallas to LAX did not show up. However, a few of us were kindly offered a cot and blankets to sleep on. The next morning I folded the cot and the blankets and found an American Airline staff member who swiftly rescheduled me for another flight to LAX. She did state that the original flight had departed at 11:15 p.m."
Cons: "From around 6 P.M., December 11, 2017, I was at gate A24 - the gate listed as the Departure gate for my return flight to Los Angeles. The last flight that left went to Saint Louis, I believe. There was never a flight to depart from Gate 24 to Los Angeles. I believe the gate may have been changed and for some reason, those who were at Gate 24 were not informed. Also, the travel instructions on the advertisement for scheduling the flight mentioned the ability to carry on luggage for no additional charge. When I received my boarding pass, it stated I was only allowed to carry on baggage that would fit underneath the seat and not in the overhead bin. I had to pay to check my baggage that I thought was free. In spite of the changes, the flight was a good flight. Thank you"

Pros: "The planes were on time. On our way down to Cozumel. The pilot let me 4-year-old son see the cockpit. Which was AWESOME, they were great As well as the flight crew on the way down. The trip down was terrific, If AA had this level of service all the time I would fly with them all the time."
Cons: "The trip home was more of what i expected from AA. The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done."

I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath."

We got to the gate for our connecting flight 9 minutes before the pushed back from the ramp and they would not let us on??? WTF poor customer service!! Fly southwest from now on!"

Cons: "The fact that American Airlines woman at the gate when we showed up at 12:10 pm for 12:15 pm flight asked us if we were the four people from the airberlin flight and told us that they knew our flight landed late but that we were too late to catch this flight home because they closed the gate. She barley gave us direction on what to do about getting a new flight or fudging our bags."

Cons: "I had asked for a vegetarian meal when I booked the tickets - this request didn't come through on my booking. I asked again at check-in, they informed me I should have called 24 hours before and organised it. Luckily the flight had vegetarian meal options onboard so I did not starve. The movie selection was not the best. The entertainment unit itself was really good however."

Pros: "The price was unreal so I had to jump on this, I was able to get on and off with my backpack no problem. The flights were good, captains were very communicative about times, expectations and when turbulence was present."
Cons: "The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed."

My total flight time was 36 hours. I still can’t believe that the pilot was missing. Cons: "They cancelled my flight into Hartford. I got stuck in Houston then they sent me to Boston. My car was at Bradley international on Boston so I had to wait a few hours when I landed at Logan before a rental car became available, which cost me an extra 200 dollars. I rented the car and drove to Hartford (2 hours) to drop the rental off and get my car. Needless to say I was exhausted for work on Tuesday after getting home at 3am and traveling all day. My original flight from Houston to Hartford was suppose to land at 8pm at Bradley airport. I had several people I was on the trip with who also flew into Hartford the same day with similar arrival times at bradley who were on different airlines. They either had small delays or no delays at all. Extremely inconvenient the trip home was. Although I am all for safety first I am not sure why other airlines still made the trip or simply delayed the flights.
