  • What are some common layovers on the route from Edmonton to Miami?

Common layovers outside of Canada include New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Both airports are hubs for numerous carriers in major American cities. It may be useful to add a short visit to one of these cities during flights to break up the travel time.

  • If I want to visit the Gulf of Mexico, which airport should I fly to?

If you are planning to visit the western coast of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, plan to fly to Orlando (MCO), which is more centrally located than Miami. Orlando, as an origin point, offers a greater network of roads connected to the Gulf Coast.

  • Do I need a visa to fly from Edmonton to Florida?

Air travel requires Canadian citizens entering the USA via plane to present either a valid passport, which does not expire during their stay, or a valid NEXUS card. NEXUS cards may be utilized at self service kiosks at specific airports.

  • How can I make my flight from Edmonton to Florida more sustainable?

Travelers concerned with their environmental impact should plan to take several steps to reduce their carbon footprint, such as packing a minimal amount of luggage. This reduces cargo weight during the flight, which thus reduces the amount of fuel consumed. Travelers may also consider flying with Air Canada or WestJet, both of which are known for their sustainability efforts. Other environmental considerations, like reusable water bottles, which can be emptied before security checkpoints, reduce the consumption of single-use plastics when traveling.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from Edmonton to Florida?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from Edmonton to Florida.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket from Edmonton to Florida?

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight to Florida from Edmonton is likely to change within 7 days, so travelers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from Edmonton to Florida?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional round-trip ticket. You could then fly to Florida with an airline and back to Edmonton with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Edmonton to Florida?

It would be better if flight crew can clearly communicate in english. But they are kind and accommodating. Food is good, especially the sandwiches on the self-serving snack trays. They are better than the ones served. Boarding was organized.

So far one of the good one , whenever I go to Korea , I always use Korean airline .

Terrible experience will never fly Delta again. Delayed flight with total disorganization and inept crew who wouldn’t communicate.

Will try never to fly Delta international again. Flight delayed and staff completely inept in dealing with it. Would not communicate, rude, completely disorganized. Once we reached Seoul the staff there had no idea what to do with us and led us around the airport from one pointless line to another. They were clearly not told how to manage the situation even though they had hours to make a plan. Never again.

They texted me my gate number and then they texted me again it’s now boarding but in different gate, and the gate was so far from the gate they texted me earlier. I have to run just to get to my flight. They always do that.

The crew and my luggage was still pretty good after a long flight. They take good care of the luggage.

Really good! I like all the crew, they were so nice and very efficient.

On time departure and exceptional customer service during the entire flight.

The flight crews were extremely professional helpful and courteous. Departure and arrival times were accurate. No delay. Thanks

The flight crews were extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. Departure and arrival times were accurate. No delay. I will use K airline again. Thanks

Airline itself is great. While food was being taken off of my tray my beer spilled which was a total accident and I wasn’t upset about that, what was frustrating was I had to ask for towels to clean up and wipe my leg. It would have been left as is if I hadn’t.

Bars and restaurants in Taipei close early. The lounge isn’t very good, but better than the public areas.

The food was the only thing that could have made the experience even better. Everything was stellar but the food. The staff was superb. I’ve been flying with ANA for years as my go-to and I think I may have found my new favorite. 😍

Not many selections for entertainment. Bulk head seats are no longer available with out fee at the counter. That’s pretty lame.

Everything was efficient. Good leg room. Food was good. Staff were friendly.

I would have liked to know how to order a special meal (for medical purposes) before the flight.

The flight who provided services on my row had some not-nice attitude and not smiling at all.

Comfort was left wanting due to such a long flight, made the wife and I wish we could upgrade the seats to Business class or First Class, but did not have that option. Food was good but had very limited options and I have a dietary restriction which was difficult for the staff to accommodate since everything provided came with cheese on it. (Cheese could potentially kill me) Did not have an option to inform the staff until we were already in the air about the restriction and was not provided another option before flight departed.

The plane was uncomfortable. I paid extra for more legroom but the seat was still uncomfortable. Other seats on the same exact row didn’t have to pay extra but still have extra legroom. I didn’t understand why I needed to pay $170 for. It was Iike China airline just wants to make money off their passengers. It was unfair.

It was a 2 hour flight to Taiwan. Lunch was served. China Airlines goes above and beyond for their passengers.

Horrible; seating was atrocious - inadequate leg room and seat width tight even for a small individual. Profits shouldn’t be everything!

Connection coordination with Star Alliance partner could be better. Lots of check in setup was not interlinked between operators.

There was no room in overhead bin to place our luggage despite we had tree seats. It means a lot of people had more than 1 carry on bags. When I asked a crew member to help she said that it was not her responsibility.

Your seats in the last 5 rows are terrible. My knees were jammed into the seat in front of me and the lady sitting there decided to recline it. Jammed my knees bad. I don’t know if I’ll fly United again.

Delayed over an hour due to paperwork not being filed correctly. Forced to change planes.

The plane used to go to Chicago was a bit outdated and needed a refresh

My connecting gate in .Chicago was across the aisle from my arriving gate. Otherwise I would not have made my connection. So that was very fortunate.

I flew basic economy, so it was what I expected. Crew was nice though, and flight was quick. Would recommend for flights under 6 hours, otherwise would upgrade to something with more leg room.

Bad, they delayed my flight, lost my connection flight had to stay overnight for the next flight and missed a lot of important meetings. 1 day totally lost!

The plane was delayed ~ 40 minutes. Communication could have been better. The entertainment was poor. We were not offered headsets by the flight attendants. The arm rest pad did not work properly, thus, I could not select what I wanted to watch.

Was a short flight, not good or bad. Extremely cramped and I'm only 6feet 1inches. 295lbs.

The whole problem of being denied boarding on flight I had ticket for having to sit in airport for 5 hours and not offered drink or cup of soup at that hour which was dinner time and did not leave until 11 PM

Terrible experience at the gate. Charged for carry on luggage despite them meeting the requirements for sizing.

Check in agent was good, stewardess was unfriendly and certainly did not have the care of the passengers in mind Spent the whole time on her phone

It was fine for a low cost trip. No entertainment and poor food offer. The sits were ok. It was on time.

Seat barely reclined. Boarding took forever. Flight attendants were not very friendly

Wasn’t able to purchase wifi for entertainment so the flight was long

Let people know if carry on is free when you are checking luggage

Westjet has a terrible boarding crew. I had a zone 3 pass and my wife and kids had zone 9 as we purchased tickets separately. After scanning our boarding passes, the boarding Filipino lady rudely says that my family has zone 9 passes. I said I have 3 and wanted to board as a family and she started a rant that they have 9 and they were small kids to board with me. I told her that I am not going to separate family because of this and what she said didn’t make sense. It’s a shame to Westjet if they have such policy. It’s a shame to the WestJet employee to start this rant after the passes were scanned. Westjet has to train people to speak politely and not with rude demanding tone. If that’s Westjet policy, I will pick a different airline next time. Westjet is not the only one out there.

I was never able to depart because of an IT outage, I could not get help through Delta’s website, app, or on the concourse. I eventually (after more than three hours in the airport) got rebooked with another airline the following day and Delta didn’t offer vouchers or any assistance with finding a hotel or getting to the hotel. I need to file a claim. Just an awful experience.

Flight was cancelled due to problems with the aircraft . Not much else to add . Itinerary was changed from yeg to Yule direct . Fine .

The flight went very smoothly, the staff was friendly and very helpful and the pilot flew the plane really, really well. Take off, landing were great and a smooth flight in between!

No issues with the flight and flight crew. cleaner seats in economy section would have been better

I’m not a small man but a little more leg room would make a big impact

The way in which the zones are lines up causes confusion the sign says zone 1, zone 2, zone 3-6. All the people in zones 3-6 line up and then the zones are called individually this causes confusion and there must be a better way to do this, other than that the flight crew, the plane and everything else was perfect.

Ok, a very small soda in a small glass was all that was served. Pitiful. Comfort seat was not, no legroom at all would not recommend comfort class, not worth the extra.

terrible delay then had to change planes then delay again

I fly all the time for work & am used to seeing "XYZ flight facilitated by XYZ airlines" (or similar) and it's never been an issue. This flight from Edmonton to DFW through Denver was very early - 6 am, international, so at the airport by 3am. The flight was booked on Kayak through Air Canada and the actual flight was supposed to be on United. I didn't receive anything from Air Canada prior to the flight, other than to check in via United app when I tried to find my flight on Air Canada app. The day of, we were all on the plane at 5:45 am, when the pilot came out to let us know that the engine had been leaking for some time, and we were now going to have to deplane and wait for the mechanic to arrive and evaluate. So, we did. Why the flight wasn't cancelled at that point I don't know. After about an hour, sure enough - cancelled, however at that point, it's late already to try and get onto a flight out of Edmonton (YEG) on a weekend, esp. since post-COVID it doesn't seem that YEG has fully recovered in terms of flights and airline availability. Trying to get back to DFW took me the rest of the weekend from Sat am at 6 to Sunday pm - late, included renting a car on my own dime and driving to Calgary (YYC) which has more flight availability, as well as another night's hotel also on my own dime. I found some help on the United app - the chat personnel did try to help find some way home. When I called Air Canada after I couldn't get a flight through United - they were quite rude and short on the phone, letting me know that it was my problem (and United's) not theirs. Since Air Canada booked the ticket and took my money I would expect that if nothing else they would try to be of some help. I am so disappointed in Air Canada and their customer service, btw - my follow-up email to them for some type of resolution or acknowledgement was acknowledged by the system as having been received but as of this point - 5 days later - no response.

We were delayed. Only got 1 snack. Seats were comfortable in preferred seating.

Assistance with wheelchair was very good. leg room was comfortable
