Aircraft itself was ancient, and seat hardware was also very old and worn. Universal outlets puzzlingly only worked for Swiss outlet style. Some flight attendants were helpful and friendly, others were cold and distant. The boarding process was a mess. On the other hand, the food was excellent - best airline food I've ever had.
The chicken on the flight Boston to Zurich wasn’t very good. It was bland passable. Too much sugar in the Cole slaw. Cabbage is an amazing veg and can be much more crisp and alive. Flight attendants were Wonderful! Seats were a bit beat up but okay. In economy it was tight when the person in front learned back the screen became too close.
On time and my bag made it. My parents on British Air had their bag held/lost at LHR, so Swiss definitely won that contest.
There's no entertainment or food service. It was a good flight.

Wonderful, i asked at front gate to change my seat up closer and they gave me a row with no one in it. Very kind of them as the flight was on the light side.
Crew is great and food is ok to good, but boarding is annoyingly slow, plane arrived late (this seems a repeated issue) and the plane is old with armrests which don’t fully rotate and entertainment which doesn’t accept external headsets and screens which don’t respond well to touch.
Flights on time and meals in plane would be greatly appreciated. On time flights is really important.
I try to check in my hand laugage and the girl insisted that my suitcase was too large which was not and was traveling with me on this airline many times. And she charged me and my husband for both suitcases 150$ instead of free they both were 8 kg each. We were the only one who she targeted and the other people who had larger suitcases did not got penalized.
There was one rep who checked us in that was not pleasant she then assisted with boarding passengers on board and informed my husband that his carry on was too big. We had to pay $70 to check in a bag that we always carry on with no issues. I really believe she was isolating us as there was several bags even bigger than his that was brought on the plan. I will be writting a letter in ref6to this rep a d our 1st time experience on Air Baltic operated for SWISS when I return.
The airline and crew were incredible, the premium plus option was very comfortable, and the food delicious. I would recommend flying with them!
You are asking me for experience with a food - but there was no food provided in the economy class.
The only negative thing was boarding a Copenhagen-bound flight in Toronto. The middle aged woman at the desk gave me some bad time, claiming they wouldn't allow me to board the flight, switching to russian in the process. After I asked her to speak English and explained her that I had to reroute with the airline due to flight cancelations that where beyond my contro and will be leaving the Shengen zone promptly, she told me I had to check in my small bag because the flight was full and they needed someone to give up their cabin luggage. After I refused, she told me she would have to check my bag if it fits the allowed dimensions, which it did. I understand she's not an SAS employee, I understand she needs to check the documents and also make sure there's enough room for overhead bags on a plane. What really made me mad was her hostike tone and the beyond poor communication skills. Basic politeness would go a long way.
I could make online check-in anywhere. Check-in was complicated I could use your app for and it was hard find information for check-in for airline checking in their app. After hour I had to go anyway to make check in the airport. Rest of the flight was more than good

I paid for my seat 💺 assignments for all for legs of my trip, SFO thru Copenhagen to Prague and back the same way. It cost 💲216.00 USD for all four seats. Despite this, on my return 2 flights, my prepaid seats were given away. When I spoke with the information services professional, she said she could not help me, nor provide an alternative seat equivalent or better than what I had. When I spoke with another representative, she was very rude, disrespectful, and did not help.
1) SAS sent me emails that i could check in but that was just a waste of time because traveling to the us i actually had to check-in at the airport. 2) SAS evidently does not care about vegetarians as it does not offer regular veggie alternatives in the transcontinental flights.
On this shorter leg and with an older plane, just mediocre. On the connecting long haul (Chicago to Copenhagen) everything was great.
great.....plane was comfortable....crew thoughtful though a bit impersonal. Full plane might have accounted for that. I left my favorite scarf on plane when landing in SFO Thursday, 3:00 pm. wish I had a way to get it back. Otherwise....flight from Copenhagen was smooth, flight to Copenhagen was on older plane and not as comfortable.
Food was good. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. We felt that a lot of the movies on board were old movies.
Very Bad experience with Swiss, they robbed me for additional baggage and misguided. The flight was delayed for 2hr 55 minutes, screens were not functional and food was also bad.
Premium Economy is best if you can't get upgraded to Business.. Not as good to sleep for red-eye flights, but does the job. More space for your legs and arms.. The food is also better and the service is almost like business.
Great entertainment choices. The crew was extremely kind and accommodating. My remote control did not work. Too little space between seats. Arm rests only go up a few inches making less comfortable.
Flight was delayed 24 hours, then delayed again first was mechanical and second was weather.
Regarding the onboard entertainment system: the dual audio jack plug is not compatible with a standard jack. I had to listen to the audio in one ear for the whole flight. The airline should hand out adapters. The touchscreen was flaky, sometimes it reacted to touching it, sometimes it didn't.

Baggage transfer process was not done properly between Air Canada flight and Swiss Airlines.
The more time goes, the poorer the food gets.. despite advertising renowned Chef menus, it remains poor quality catering food. The entertainment system this plane was of latest tech and working well +1 for that. Flight was delayed and boarding a nightmare. Overhead bins have become smaller, despite being an A330 and a carry-on has to be placed sideways..
The check in to receive my pass in Vancouver was a breeze very pleased The flight crew on the other hand I think half of them wished they were somewhere else
It took 2.5 hrs wait time to get wheelchair, even then had to walk to the gate due to bad planning. The flight was delayed 2 hrs making me miss the connecting flight in Zurich. Was told I’d fly to Frankfurt to catch another connection but ultimately was sent to London and then on to Delhi because YYZ was just disorganized. Never flying air canada again. The crew was unhelpful, irritated, just bad hospitality.
My flight from Zurich to London was delayed 2hours and 45minutes. It was awful.
Club Europe is always lovely. I really enjoy everything about it. One thing that has changed in recent years though, is the swap to Prosecco from Champagne in the lounges. This is really disappointing. I really don’t like Prosecco, and always looked forward to a lovely glass of champagne in the lounge. Is it possible to change back? It does make the whole experience a little more of a luxury experience.
They need to improve their service at the airport. Rather than a bus, they need to park the plane at a station like normal airlines to so passengers can just walk out of the plane into the airport and catch their next flight
Flight was cancelled at the last minute with no explanation. No viable alternative offered and zero customer service support. Totally useless.
The crew could not have been more helpful, my meal was excellent, I slept peacefully until right before landing, and the BA lounge was a godsend. The only negative I encountered was the coffee both on the plane and in the lounge. Not to my taste but that’s a personal preference.
My experience was very disappointing. Firstly I was unable to check in using the kiosks. Secondly even though I purchased a flight with one checked bag, I was told at the counter that a checked bag was not included in my flight booking. And I had to pay for my bag. At the check in counter, the airline representative was very arrogant and demeaning. She insisted on charging me £140 for the luggage. And said it was an automatic charge calculated by the scale. This didn’t make sense to me. As it was 0.5 kg overweight. Which only required me to remove 2 bottles of water. Having an extensive flight schedule that involved multiple flights included NY and Brussels, this leg of my flight was the most stressful and unpleasant.
My luggage never arrived to Zurich. They can't confirm when it will arrive
Updates from pilots about delays would make them less frustrating.
Almost 3 hour delay. First because the crew was late. Then a technical problem with the airplane.
The crew was great but we sat in the plane for over an hour before takeoff combined with a 4 hour delay on our previous flight caused us to miss planned scheduled meetings in Geneva.
Condor's computers do not work. They do not leave enough time to catch a connecting flight. Condor had to book passengers on a different airline to make their destination. They lost my niece and nephew's luggage. The bathroom had pee all over it before the flight took off.
I had pre-booked a seat but when I checked in it was not assigned to me. I spoke to the agent upon arrival and was upgraded to Economy Plus, which was fantastic.
Wish the plane actually landed at a gate instead of on the tarmac and have the passengers board very slow buses.
They made us walk thru entire Frankfurt Airport, which at this age. With very less time, we had to run. It was unacceptable.
Internet was advertised in-flight but not accessible. The foot rest in premium economy was stuck. For both nobody I asked was able to provide an answer/solution. However, this will not stop me from booking premium economy again, which I upgraded from my initial economy I had booked for my outbound flight YYZ to FRA.
The crew was great. Good etc was unacceptable for an overseas flight. Wine with a meal should be complimentary. Seat comfort /space horrible and I am 5‘3“ with heels on. Short haul probably ok but not on long haul flights

Seats were not comfortable, and the problems started when we landed at Frankfurt airport. We waited more than 3 hours to collect our luggage, as a result we missed the connected train to Brussels. Our plans for the trip were ruined that day.
A bigger plane would be more comfortable. We were bouncing off the ground before even lifting into the air, scary!
