I fly this trip regularly and are almost always delighted but this trip was disappointing to say the least."

The handler took an address from him and said he would take the bottles to Fedex near the airport and sent them to him. And the passenger could send him the money later! I thin k the handler's name was Bob. He needs a commendation foe going the extra mile for a passenger! Find him and buy him dinner."

After many announcements and many incentives offered 2 young ladies did give up their seats and we could get on. The flight went well but we were extremely upset with the promise of confirmation and the obvious overbooking. It probably is what many airlines do but not good customer service was given to us. We often fly Alaska but this was a bad experience."

So I give a 4 start for that reason. Entertainment was good if you bring your own tablet or laptop. Some shows are free and some you have to pay for. They also had tablets for rent for $10. Confort, it was a pretty big plane. I had the bad luck to get the seat in front of the emergency exit so I couldn't reclined my sit but it wasn't that bad."

And although the partner with Azul, they claimed that they could not check us through to our final destination. Coming home, Azul did this for us without issue. Gates E-9 and E-10 at Fort Lauderdale are a disaster waiting to happen. There is inadequate separation between the two gates to allow efficient boarding. When the flight out of E-9 got delayed, they ended up boarding two flight at the same time. Boarding announcements dd not specify flights and it became a huge snafu. The crew did not try to change it - they plowed ahead ignoring the confusion they were causing. On board, the movies did not run smoothly - one was restarted three times. I have tried to book on Jet Blue firt in the past. My last three experiences are making me rethink this."

I had paid for a 4 day vacation at a resort in Argentina so my 4 day stay became a 2 day stay because Jet Blue would not purchase a seat from a booked passenger on the next flight as I requested. I will never use this airline again and would strongly advise anyone who wants or needs to be at their destination on time avoid them."

The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

Cons: "When we touched down in a blizzard we were told there was no jetway available and we had to climb down an icy ladder to walk probably 1000 feet on black ice barely seeing where we were going and at least one person fell and overall it was just very unprofessional and not the quality of service I expect from Delta."

Pros: "The crew was amazing. We had a two hour delay on the ground due to thunderstorms, but the pilot kept us informed and the flight attendants answered any questions and helped with everything. The pilot even walked down the isle asking people if they had any questions."
Cons: "We booked our tickets through American Express over 3 months before the flight. Delta has a new policy that these tickets are not allowed to have certain privileges that tickets purchased on their own site have. Unbeknown to us, one of these is the ability to select your seat. On the ride from CVG to FLL we were assigned seats in the back of the plane, but at least we were next to each other. On the way back, we were not assigned a seat at all. We arrived to the airport almost 4 hours before the flight and were still not assigned a seat and were told we would have to speak to the gate agent. Even we when spoke to the gate agent, they still did not have a seat. It was not until we had already started the boarding process that they called us up and told us that we were going to be sitting 5 rows apart, both in a middle seat."

They need a better checked baggage system, if there are any exceptions to just dropping off and tagging bags the client should be moved to a problem area and not take time for corrections in the dropped bag lines. All that should be required would be ID & Boarding pass. The Kiosk should print both the boarding pass and luggage labels. My seat was fine, the passengers seated with me were medium sized so we didn't sit on top of each other. No food but the soft drinks were okay."
Cons: "Crowded but okay. Hot inside the plane. Boarding seemed to take forever with folks storing luggage overhead. Two checked bags for free and a small one that fits under the seat for free would be safer for everyone. Charge for the carry-on that must go into the bin. $35 each that doesn't fit under the seat. More money for the airlines and safer conditions for passengers. I fear someone dropping a heavy carry-on on me as they reach over to lift baggage in the bin. One day someone will be injured badly and the airlines will be sued and things will change."

To make matters worse my bags ended up in LA when they were supposed to be route it all the way to Palm Springs. I still don’t have my bags yet. Called three times and the representatives cannot reassure me of my bags on the way."

Cons: "When preparing to board, the two clerks at the gate were very rude. I had a carry-on suitcase, a laptop bag, and a small camera bag. They wouldn't let me board, claiming that my camera bag was a third item that I couldn't have. They then tried to force me to check the suitcase which i explained that I did not want to do, before giving me the chance to place the camera bag in the suitcase (which it fit just fine). They were not understanding or friendly and really made me question my decision of flying with American Airlines."

Two weeks ago I flew on Spirit with the same bag and had no problem with their size allowances which are just a bit more generous than United. I had purchased the bag precisely for this type of flight. An extra 1/2 inch would have saved me the $50."

Cons: "The flight was delayed. There seats were too close for comfort and the aircraft had an odor. When we finally arrived in Newark, we were sent to the wrong gate by the operations team. After we were moved to the correct gate there were issues connecting the jetway."

When i spoke to the flight attendant of my original itineray, he was extremenly rude and shooed me off. The supervisor was slightly more helpful but ended up being just as bad when i informed him of his rude employee. Even the new itinerary put me on a delayed flight. One choice of snack on a 5 hour flight. Overall, not flying with united again."

However, on the TV news that morning, there were already delays, therefore United knew about the delays LONG before we arrived at the airport."

Pros: "The actual flight from FLL to SFO was uneventful. The pilot was kind enough to point out when we were about to fly over the Grand Canyon which I appreciated."

Cons: "Walked in with 45 mins to spare my girlfriend took JetBlue we got there at the same time they put my girlfriend on united put me on a flight a hour later on stand by I didn't know what this meant I don't fly often come to find out the man at the front basically just screwed me they tell me there are no more seats I need to go on a flight that was originally for 5 but delayed to 6 obviously now I am upset I am admittedly easing my voice who wouldn't to speak to a manager a man tells me to come down or he is getting security and I will be removed I say once more I want a manger he gets security THEN GET THIS THAT WAS THE MANAGER LOL who just did not want to help because he is lazy and dosent like his job then when 6 30 finally rolls around the temperature in the plane had to be on 80 at the end of my flight my shorts were soaked in sweat DONOT EVER FLY UNITES EVER"

Pros: "I flew from Manchester NH to Miami with a layover in Newark. I had 7 people in my group with three of them being children. I did not choose seats before departure date and when we arrived at the airport we found that we were all in separate seats. The attendant noticed this and immediately moved people around to make sure the children were sitting with an adult. It was a small commuter plane so I was very surprised anyone would change seats. Thank you United for a great experience"

When time to board their was a line of 30 people getting new seat location before they could board the plane. A seat location I had for 3 months and checked in Ft. Myers 8 hours earlier was occupied so I was told very rudely to get in line behind 30 people to get new seat location. It took over an hour to board plane before take off. There was non English speaking customers who received no help boarding plane finding seats because crew was laughing joking with other passenger. They tried to put a non English speaking passenger in exit row. I paid $25 to check a bag to find passengers getting free bag checking at gate."

Cons: "My seat was randomly switched from my first selection and I got a horrible seat and was unable to regain my original seat selection. Very uncomfortable seating. The staff was nice, but not overly friendly."
