The good news is Alaska and just a few other smaller airlines are far less terrible than the rest of the industry. The product is still cramped, unapitizing and not always smooth... but the crew is consistnetly awesome... and their policies are customer friendly"

And although the partner with Azul, they claimed that they could not check us through to our final destination. Coming home, Azul did this for us without issue. Gates E-9 and E-10 at Fort Lauderdale are a disaster waiting to happen. There is inadequate separation between the two gates to allow efficient boarding. When the flight out of E-9 got delayed, they ended up boarding two flight at the same time. Boarding announcements dd not specify flights and it became a huge snafu. The crew did not try to change it - they plowed ahead ignoring the confusion they were causing. On board, the movies did not run smoothly - one was restarted three times. I have tried to book on Jet Blue firt in the past. My last three experiences are making me rethink this."

Jet Blue claimed they could not put me on the next flight because it was full and was on another airline. They put me in a hotel for the remainder of the night , all the next day and the following night. I had paid for a 4 day vacation at a resort in Argentina so my 4 day stay became a 2 day stay because Jet Blue would not purchase a seat from a booked passenger on the next flight as I requested. I will never use this airline again and would strongly advise anyone who wants or needs to be at their destination on time avoid them."

Maybe that's just her face but I'm used to a more pleasant crew at Jet Blue. However, the lady that greeted us on the plane was nice throughout the whole flight."

Also, I got an exit row seat on my new flight to MSP."

We saw people with two big bags get on board at the start, and then staff made everyone at the back of the line check their bags. But there was plenty of bin space before take off. And we were seated in the last row which can't recline."

We boarded an hour late, and staff would not answer any of our questions about what was going on or how late we would arrive (they sped up the fight so that we landed on time). Flight ran out of drinking WATER after the first service. Half of our section (Economy Plus) was skipped for snacks. An unruly child was allowed to scream for almost the entire flight & was running up & down the aisles. NOTHING was said to the parents by staff members. Was absolutely the worst behaving child with who I've had to fly."

As people seem to be so self-centered anymore, the attendants should have announced that people were not to leave until all passengers with connecting flights had left the plane. Very sad that people can't use common courtesy all by themselves, but as they can't, it should have been enforced by the team on the plane."

I do whatever I can to fly on Australian rather than American airlines, as they are always much better in every regard. But in this case it wasn't feasible, and I found myself on a Delta flight. I'd say the overall experience was somewhere between okay-good. Nothing major to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. The entertainment options were decent. I appreciated the variety of newly released movies. However, I would have liked a greater selection of TV shows, and the availability of more episodes. I also appreciated the availability of internet access, but I don't understand why it has to be quite *so* pricey. Surely they could make a bit more on greater volume if they dropped the price a bit. I didn't purchase access, but I would have if it were 40-50% cheaper. The comfort of the plane seemed the same as any of the alternatives. Boarding and deplaning were as they should be."

Virgin Australia and Qantas consistently have much happier crews, who make you feel like a dignified guest, even in economy. The food was average at best, and they served two meals where the Australian airlines would serve three on the same flight. They also offered less in the way of snacks and drink refills. It seemed like they were cutting corners here, which I don't appreciate on a 15 hour flight. Also, they said they "proudly serve Starbucks coffee". After drinking it, I don't think they should be proud of that! Again, overall it was a decent experience. Nothing flashy, but nothing too bad either. If the costs are comparable for your flight, you should certainly choose one of the Australian carriers. You'll get better service from the crew and better food. The one caveat, however, is that Delta has WiFi, whereas at the date of writing this, the Australian carriers do not. While access is exorbitant, if you really need to get some work done on the plane, you might choose Delta for this reason alone."

Now I am in my seat with both my carry on and personal item stowed below. So was I comfortable ? No. Was I upset and annoyed, on top of being tired? Yes. They need a better system."

I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

Instead, the pilot and flight attendants just told us to rich it because we had to leave to L.A! We (8) family members came and this includes an elderly person (my mother who has been fighting cancer for about 2 years, along with diabetes) came to see her grandaughter get married. Now they were rushing her as well? Uncalled for. Now my other brother and his family which was a party of 10 on another flight, also flew to Hawaii. Now that alone tells you how much money was spent. The stay in Hawaii was amazing! We would visit again but the way we were treated on this airline, I don't think we would fly again and choose this airline. To be honest, not even recommend it. I'm ashamed to let others know such as friends and co workers know of this airline's service. To top it off one flight attendant was very rude! She saw us when she handed the other passengers pretzels and skipped my mother, my sister and I. I asked her nicely if we may have some and told her she had skipped us. She said, "I did?" Came back with 6 bags of thenm and was like, "Here!" Like shoving them to me. I felt humiliated! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass her. But it was extremely rude!!! I read some reviews and I guess it's normal on your end to be the way you treat your customers. We even asked before abording from Hawaii to L.A, what can you do to make up for all this and we were told, "nothing could". So ashamed."

Their weight allowance is 10 pounds less than other airlines so I had to transfer a bunch of stuff to my carry-on. Sneaky fees and nickel and diming are such shoddy business practices. I Will not fly Spirit again if I can at all avoid it. Short-term gain results in long-term loss for Spirit given I am a very frequent traveler."

Be sure to print your own boarding pass because that's a $10 charge if you don't. If your luggage is even one lb over the weight, expect to pay $95. Need water on the flight? Pay up. AirMall magazine? Nope. Reclining chairs? Laughable. The staff's affect is flat and cold. Don't bother trying to reason with them, they could care less (especially"Karen"). If I could give zero stars on this review, I wouldn't hesitate. I wouldn't wish my experience with Spirit on anyone. I'd rather forget about it all and move on with my life but people have the right to know."

Cons: "You had to pay for everything. I was coughing and really needed water and it was 6$ Trip was delayed over an hour with multiple gate changes and then once on the plane took forever to take off. Seats were horrible very small and very uncomfortable"
