Cons: Same as previous answer, but due to cancellation of earlier flight and our connection being delayed, ended up not landing in Newark until about 10pm when we originally should've landed in around 3. This caused us to miss a Broadway show we had bought tickets for ($150/ticket) as well as lost out on dinner reservations we had made. We then had to take an Uber as our friends could not pick us up at that time (a further $80). My son had taken off three days from work and we lost most of the first one due to Porter's incompetence. Their only comment was that they weren't obliged to do anything for us because we had booked through an agent and not directly with Porter.

Pros: All ok. Pilots did a great job landing in heavy winds and low temps. Bravo

Cons: Couldn't figure out my frequent flier number and the call-in centre wanted me to wait for some crazy amount of time to figure it out. Kind of insulting.

Cons: After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight.

Cons: at last minute itinerary was changed.. instead of routing through Brisbane, was now routed through Sydney. Flight from Sydney to LAX was delayed by 4 hours, then missed flight LAX to LAS... overall long delayed arrival. Checked the route through Brisbane, and those flights we're all there, departed and landed all on-time... so wondering what the reason was for the change of the itinerary without a cause (no cancel or delayed flights through Brisbane)

Cons: Was not offered a flight back to Ottawa, had to find a ride from Toronto to Ottawa once we landed .6 hours driving. See above.

Cons: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at 9:00 for a 10:10 flight, and so were not allowed to try to go through customs to make the flight. When we asked if they could put us on the next flight and we'd pay the $100 plus dollars each to do so, as we realized that we were at fault for arriving late, we were told that they wouldn't do this for us because we had booked through Kayak and not through Porter directly. We were then told that we would have to pay full price for new tickets, over $800. I can't afford to pay another $800 and told them so. I realized we were late, but to be told that they could do nothing for us was horrible. They finally said they'd do it after we told them about our horrendous experience with them on our flight to New York, but then wouldn't let us take our carry on luggage on the flight and charged us a further $60 to put it in the hold. We were then told that they could only get us as far as Toronto, (AFTER we'd paid the extra money) and we'd have to find another way home from there. We live in Ottawa, that's a 6 hour drive, and neither I nor my son drive. It was an absolute nightmare getting back from Toronto, and we didn't get home until 1:00 a.m. Shame on you Kayak and Porter airlines. Our flight to New York was a nightmare (see my other email) and so was our flight home. I know you won't do anything about this and don't care about your customers, but I can assure you that I will be posting as many negative things that I can on social media, and will tell everyone I know never to fly with Porter airlines. Shame on you.
