The flight attendant Barry then came and told me if there was anything he could do for me during the flight just to let him know. After the flight was over Barry asked me to wait till everyone deplaned so He could make sure my wheelchair was there and then carried my bag to them. Porter airlines is top notch. I will use them again next time I go to visit my daughter."

Some colleagues that had a 2 pm flight were told that they would leave by the 10 pm flight. Our flight eas already delayed, the door had been already closed, but it was reopened so that a passenger, who had arrived last, could go back to the lounge to pickup some fhat he had forgotten. Porter has become a very unreliable company. Like some of my colleagues, I will now consider flying out of Pearson airport sadly."

Regretfully, I bought it with Porter again, only because it was the cheapest available and I was already out a lot of money. It had to be a later flight, and people were waiting for me in Ottawa for a wedding party. The flight seemed like it was on time, but instead of getting us there, they made us sit on the plane for 45 minutes to wait for other passengers coming from another flight. I would consider a few minutes nice and the right thing to do, but not 45, as this was a complete disregard for the rest of us. They said it was the last flight to Halifax. Great, that lets me know they just didn't want to put them up in a hotel. They have ridiculously high fees, but they won't deliver the service promised in a timely manner to save themselves money. Seems like they are pinching pennies at the cost of quality service."

Next day we realize they didn't schedule us on the first OR second flight of the day but the third so we were delayed by 36 hours instead of 24!!!! The planes are tiny, very old, quite dirty. The staff seem totally non chalant about all these cancelled flights and allllll of the delays and repeatedly say that the airline is understaffed... hello i don't care why my vacation was cut short by 36 hours and i got stuck paying 200$ for a hotel room tat i didn't get to stay in!!! Get your act together Porter!!!!"

She coped well considering there were multiple people asking questions at the same time. There was a small sign instructing persons who had obtained boarding passes and luggage tags to go to baggage drop but no signs or separate lanes to indicate where that was. Very disorganized. At the gate it was the same scenario. Agents at adjacent desks were calling boarding instructions for multiple flights at the same time. Our Vancouver flight was never actually announced but passengers all started lining up because the stated boarding time had passed. It was impossible to tell which flight was calling for which boarding zones and everyone was wondering out loud "what is going on here?" Once finally aboard we sat on the runway, our flight left an hour late and we missed our connecting flight in Vancouver which, I realize happens. However..."

I was sent to Ottawa because there wasn't enough oxygen on the flight to Toronto. 15 passengers missed our flight to Toronto because we left Fredericton late which put us on a new flight 2 hours later, that had mechanical issues so again a missed flight. I am happy they do their due diligence with safety, but it created a long day. They also had to stop food service before they got to me so I wasn't able to get food."

On top of that they sent my bag to Buenos Aires which was the planes next destination. My bag was eventually brought to my home. Overall the experience with Air Canada has been horrible. And I lost 2 full days because of the airlines' delayed flights."

Cons: "11:45pm flight delayed by over two hours! Boarding was unorthodox and time consuming given the arrival of the delayed flight. Due to the delayed arrival of the aircraft at Los Angeles, the gate assignment was given to another aircraft and we had to board a bus and be ferried to a remote field at LAX that was literally 15 minutes a way by bus in order to board the flight to Toronto. The boarding process was incredibly time consuming and inconvenient. Flight ended up departing Los Angeles at 2:15am."

Need to track down a manager to get a refund. He says he issues me a refund but it never came through. Then on the flight WiFi isn’t working, no entertainment on a cross country flight of 6 hours. Not a word mentioned, no credit offered. Was offered credit by delta for the same issue on a flight half the length of time. Super uncomfortable seats. Also no current to charge devices. My friend moved up to a different seat that was empty to try to get power for her phone and told she needs to pay 160$ to sit in that seat even though the plane is half empty. Just really poor experience overall.."

When it was getting close to the time for our flight and they were still boarding an earlier flight, I checked with them to see if ours would be delayed. They had changed the gate without making an announcement. We had to get ourselves to the new gate with barely time to spare. They never turned the seatbelt light off for the trip so we could not use the restroom"

Cons: "On April 15 we flew from Sacramento to Basel, via Los Angeles and Munich. We did exactly what we were told re reserving seats. We were told to call 23 hrs. in advance to reserve seats. When we tried to follow directions, we were not able to check in. Without checking in, we could not reserve seats. After numerous phone calls, to various numbers, we were not able to check in or reserve seats. By continuing to ask questions, to try and understand, we were told we were "under airport control". This was an "at random" situation and online check in was not available. Only 5 minutes earlier, we were still being instructed to check in online! We had never heard of this. I contacted a neighbor, who flies often internationally and within the U.S. He said it had happened to him once. He agreed that driving to the airport in Sacramento was a wise decision. This is not what we wanted to be doing 1 day before departure. At Sacramento we found a kind gentleman who saw our dilemma and checked us in as a favor. We saw assigned seats. He suggested we request to improve our seats the following travel day. It was a very challenging morning. As I tried to improve our seating the following day I was told, by airport staff, that this happened because we booked through Kayak? Rather with an attitude that we should have booked differently. This was a vacation we had looked forward to for years. I worked hard at not letting this difficult start damage my trip. Upon arrival in Amsterdam, I tried to learn more, to prevent a similar situation on the way home."
