Pros: "The staff are very professional and friendly."
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "On time - lots of legroom (after previous flight on Q400)"
Pros: "The crew was good and the boarding process went smoothly and fast."
Cons: "The screens were so old and bad that it would be a total waste of money to pay for the PPV channels. Seats were hard and unconfortable"
Cons: "Their check in was not a boarding pass which prevented me from using Quick Connect from Immigration. So I reached the terminal counter art the FAR end of the terminal with 15 minutes to apare. The agent told me that wss not enouhh time to make the flight. I had to wait almost 4 houts for the last flight if the night to get there"
Cons: "Announcement from the flight crew inaudible. Much too fast and with lack of ununciation"
Pros: "Plane, stewardesses on the plane"
Cons: "Where to start. Booked a higher priced ticket as layover was minimal. Westjet later emails, saying layover is now 7 hours?!?! We booked a connector with air canada with only a 2hr layover. We decided to keep the checked bags on the Westjet later connector to be less hassle. Westjet agents at airport did not mention that you cannot do that. So it wasn’t until we arrived at the layover point, we were told we had to pull the bags and re-check them in with Air Canada, go through the whole rigamarile of checkin, baggage check, and security. Not something you want to deal with when you are at the tail end of a red-eye flight. So thumbs down. In Westjet’s defense, they did give me a 200 dollar credit toward a future flight when I kicked up a fuss about the change to a 7-hour layover."
Pros: "Friendly and helpful staff."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Seated in Plus (1F) but legroom was cramped, no choice of decent food (cookies, chips and chocolate - all sugar or fat & salt) Most of the TV channels were not working along with the map display. Definitely not worth the extra cost of Plus fare"
Cons: "Did not purchase food on the plane"
Pros: "Quick and easy"
Cons: "Small seats"
Cons: "Our flight was delayed 2 and a half hours but everyone was friendly."
Cons: "Very poor attitude of cabin crew. if they don’t want to serve the “guests” get another job."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything."
Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Crew was very efficient and friendly."
Cons: "Having only one bathroom at back of the plane was a surprise ."
Cons: "delay of 1 hr."
Pros: "Seats could be a bit bigger for tall people."
Pros: "Fast connection, friendly crew."
Cons: "You're confirmation should include a westjet reservation code. That was a nightmare as i could not find a confirmation email through westjet. I needed to go to the airport to find out the day before and they gave me a westjet reservation code. This needs to be done. Other then that, great"
Pros: "The friendly service and prompt boarding!"
Cons: "The snack options. Veggies and hummus would be nice!"
Pros: "Efficient service - boarding and arrival were on time."
Pros: "The Wet jet staff were very accommodating and lovely. The on board staff and on ground staff did their best to be very accommodating during very problematic weather issues related to Toronto."
Cons: "We were given wheels up time twice due to delays in Toronto for freezing rain. I ended up changing my flight to a direct from Calgary to London. The amount of time spent in the airport was definitely a negative."
Cons: "Not any bodys fault the crew were trying to be supportive. multiple babys all around the area beside accros and a few rows down. maybe set them all to teh back would be better"
Pros: "The crew was fantastic and was very helpful!"
Cons: "I found the rows a bit tight together leading to a little less legroom then I would like but this is standard with almost any airline."
Pros: "Getting into Victoria befor evening"
Cons: "Delayed, no pilot, no communication."
Pros: "left on time"
Cons: "The overhead bins are now too small for a large number of carry on luggage that meets the criteria of carry on. If you wheel your now over sized carry on to the gate they will stow it below for free. If you check it they charge you $26.00 knowing it won't fit in the bins anyway."
Pros: "Charlotte and Johnny spiced up the safety brief with some humor, it definitely made the flight more enjoyable and to have a friendly, funny and relaxed flight crew."
Pros: "Flight staff"
Cons: "Had to disembark. So left and arrived much later than planned."
Pros: "Very friendly crew !"
Cons: "It was delayed because they couldn't find the stewardess. So made me late for my plans , but other then that it was good . The crew was excellent on both flights"
Pros: "On time, luggage arrived even with yer short connect in Calgary"
Cons: "Prefer YUL to PBI FLL is in case that there is no flight available to or from PBI"
Pros: "Fast flight Social distancing A whole row to almost every person"
Cons: "N/A"
Cons: "Good food. Best airline I’ve traveled besides Southwest. First international flight and the crew was so nice and professional!"
Pros: "compliance in the boarding"
Cons: "in general the male flight attendant was very disinterested in resolving nonconformities such as that the light of the chair did not turn on or request for support in completing Customs form and uncomfortable seat"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "Overhead bin storage too small for 70% of passengers. Crew had an attitude that was not pleasant"
Pros: "The onboard flight crew were very friendly."
Cons: "We were traveling with an infant and there was no pre boarding call. They took wheelchairs and then just started zone 1. The seats are so uncomfortable, it feels like a lot of the padding has been removed for weight. I am 6’2” and there is just not enough room to sit comfortably in a 3 seat row. If we can avoid flying Rouge , we do."
Pros: "The Toronto to Victoria service was a good one earlier but now with Air Canada Rouge service is not very comfortable and the best choice given that it a long flight. No Onboard entertainment, uncomfortable seats."
Pros: "Service was impeccable. In flight entertainment was good"
Cons: "Food was nothing special"
Cons: "Both Air Canada flights were late The agent responsible for boarding was an angry person"
Cons: "Cancelled one flight, then delayed another one because they were waiting for a pilot. They offered very little help, citing that they couldn’t control the weather, meanwhile WestJet is finding & paying for rooms, shuttle buses and taxis to make the delay more tolerable and less stressful. We could only watch and wish we were flying WestJet."
Pros: "Crews attention and ease handling medical travel"
Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "the team helpful"
Cons: "nothing"
Pros: "No wasted time, they load you up and get you where you want to be."
Cons: "Be sure to gate check anything larger than a small backpack or purse. There is little room on board for carry-on's"
Pros: "Flight attendant was helpful when I had a personal health issue."
Cons: "Pay for snacks on a 5 hour flight? What do you really get for a ticket that cost over $500. US? I paid for noodle soup. They gave me a fork to eat it after they bumped into me and spilled the hot liquid on my sleeve and slacks. Then when I went to eat it I realized that the noodles were not cooked through. they were rubbery. the liquid was tasty, but with a fork how much can you taste. Ended up giving it back after eating about 1/4 of it. Seats had no leg room even though was a larger plane. Had restless leg from the very beginning. Legs were in pain the whole time."
Pros: "Not too crowded"
Cons: "Flight was late by over an hour."
Pros: "Terrible experience with delays and cancellations and waiting times for customs. I felt like it was groundhog day. Had to leave the airport back through a massive line in customs after my flight was ultimately cancelled. They are doing work on the runways, weather, whatever. Seems some flights could leave especially those that were not Canadian airlines. This has happened on more than one occasion and the airline handles it very poorly with little communication. Will not fly AC again if I have the choice"
Pros: "The new airplane 787 is really a nice airplane"
Cons: "The flight delayed 1:45, making me lose my connection"
Pros: "clean and on time"
Cons: "boarding could be a bit more smooth. more leg room wouldn't hurt"
Cons: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."
Pros: "The airline was aware we were held up in the transit from the boston flight to the victoria flight and made some effort to hold the gate open for us. We made it with one minute to spare."
Cons: "The airport security were helpful in the end, but our our struggle to get from the boston flight to the victoria flight was a nighmare. We had to beg at each intersection to get through lines so that we could get to our flight. Is ther no way to streamline this process? It colours the journey with stress beyond belief. I cannot send my mother on any such trips because of this."
Cons: "Flight was delayed."
Pros: "Attentive crew - offering beverages repeatedly (which didn't happen at all on my flight Toronto to Vancouver two weeks earlier)"
Cons: "Crammed seating - felt much tighter than would I am used to from other international airlines."
Pros: "The flight was on time, boarding was well-organized, the service was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The line to the washroom was quite long - there were only two washrooms at the back of the plane."
Pros: "Lots of leg room and was able to board early"
Cons: "Food not good"
Cons: "We were quite disappointed when we were told there would be a delay due to mechanical issues after already boarding and being on the plane for over two hours. Imagine our distress at being trapped in a narrow seat inside the confines of a plane still sitting on the tarmac and going nowhere with very limited climate control and circulation that added even more discomfort. This level of stress was compounded by the manner in which our minimal nutritional and hydration needs were not only met but as fare paying passengers, we were teased by a meager slice of packaged and processed sliced banana bread and a mere two cups of water. This fact is especially important because it more severely impacted my father who is diabetic and it was not sufficient for him, especially at 11:44 p.m. Also because there was no communication relayed to passengers that the problem would not be resolved the second time we boarded, Air Canada agents should have recommended or handed out dinner vouchers while we were waiting in the airport after they evacuated us the first time (since everything was closed the second time we were evacuated). We were stuck on the plane for a total of 4 hours two separate times they boarded us and in between that we waited back in the airport for 2 hours; therefore a total of over 6 hours of time past the original boarding time which lead us into 1:30am of not going anywhere. Flight was rescheduled for 23 hours later! We understand the challenges of operating an airline and trying to meet schedules and the needs of the customers. Furthermore, we appreciate diligence when it applies to the safety of flying. However, the myriad problems, distress, physical and discomfort not to mention the over 23 hellish hours, was exacerbated by the following: the lack of communicaton and bad information; the paucity of empathy reflected by all Air Canada employees toward our aggregation; the measures taken to mitigate the damage inflicted to what was to be our “dream vacation” and finally the scarcity of adequate accommodation and compensation for all that we endured. We too lost one night at the Barcelona Universal Hotel worth $207, not to mention a lost vacation day worth over $600 in salary for 8 hours for us. Air Canada should be held to higher standards and more responsible for keeping up to date on their aircraft maintenance checks and regulations.  There was also no specific hotel address on the voucher issued which caused us to drive to two different sheraton 4 points locations until we finally reached our destination which there was no vacancy. Luckily after lingering around in the lobby and me having to call multiple hotels to verify vacancy, one room became available and we ended up inviting another family to stay in our room that night (other Air Canada victims). We didn’t get to bed until 5am that following morning after all of that ruckus!!"
Pros: "The flight was uneventful."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by almost 30 minutes, but there were no announcements in the gate area until 20 minutes after the original departure time."
Pros: "They had individual tv screens."
Cons: "One of the female flight attendants was rude. Aircraft configuration was tight and dirty."
Pros: "One of the flight attendant saw I needed help holding my second big bag while I was putting my carry on in and she held it for me without me asking and helped me find my seat, it was very stress relieving for me, and I really appreciated that. She was also very nice to everybody."
Cons: "I had a sprite and the amount was very little, I feel like the cups have got smaller. But that's not a big deal"
Pros: "The entertainment system was fine as far as selection goes."
Cons: "The stewardesses were ranged from okay to outright grumpy though I understand how difficult it is to always be pleasent when working long hours in a confined space in the customer service industry they still failed me on this."
Pros: "good movie selection"
Cons: "The seats are small and I was wedged in the middle. There was little to no water service. Only one drink cart and as I was at the back it took 1 hour and 45 minutes into the flight to get a glass of water. Terrible."
Cons: "An hour delay and mix up at which loading gate. Received ten minutes of free wi fi as compensation. Food would have been better as wi fi didn't work."
Cons: "Six hours stuck at an airport with no where to get decent food and ended up sleeping on the floor. There should not be a stop to flights at night time."
Pros: "A very nice Air Canada person from Toronto Airport really helped us speed up the baggage check-in process, because we were late. Then, in the terminal, the crew was waiting for us even if we were so late ( 5 mins before landing time)"
Cons: "We had to pay for snacks. Snacks should be included in the high price of the tickets (about 500 CAD $). We ordered and paid extra for food snacks, but some of the items were not available even they were displayed in the food menu/catalog. We asked for a blanket for my daughter who was sleeping but Air Canada didn't have any blanket !! After we boarded, we realized that we didn't have space to put any hand baggages ! We are a family of 5 and we didn't have space to put even one hand baggage! Unacceptable!"
Pros: "all good, air canada is so much better than any us airlines"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had to pay again for the priority seats on the rescheduled flights, but still have not gotten refund on the priority seats on the cancelled flights."
Pros: "Screen for each seat with movie and TV options. Seating was comfortable and had adequate space."
Cons: "Only drinks were offered, no snack. There was food available for purchase, but no snack item provided."
Pros: "Plane and crew were great"
Pros: "The landing of the plane was good and one flight attendant was courteous. The movie options were pretty good. At least the wine was free."
Cons: "The check-in counter in DCA was AWFUL with only two people running and no kiosks working. They were rude and didn't listen to us either. When we got to the food part, it was disguisting. First of all, I am vegetarian but even if I ate meat, I wouldnt have eaten it. So I just ate bread for the 13 hour flight. Besides one flight attendant, the rest were rude, harsh and had a generally bad attitude. AIr Canada has BY FAR been the worst travel experience for me thus far. I guess you get what you pay for."
Pros: "quick enough flight"
Cons: "no in-flight entertainment, not power outlets, lack of leg room"
Pros: "Staff was professional and courteous. The staff was helpful but were too busy dealing with the full plane load of passengers."
Cons: "Crowded middle seat that was uncomfortable to sit in. Sat next to severely overweight person, who needed two seas to be comfortable. I was squished. The seat belt was tangled up and I could not fix it to adjust it. Bell to call flight attendant was not working. The middle light bulb was burnt out. Took my book to read on this long flight but could not read. just sat in the dark when the lights went out. Boarding the plane seemed like planned chaos! No one (passengers) listened to instructions and these were poor given by those responsible to oversee the boarding the plane. Fight was delayed for half an hour with people coming on at such late time. Had to change seats to accommodate others - family with children. Dealing with disembarkation should be better and much too long. Those with connecting flights should leave first and can be identified earlier to prevent cheating. Those with children should be next. Those in the aisle seats then leave, followed by those in the middle and window seats. Loading the plane after the business class or first class should be according to seat number from the back of the plane to the front. this completely random boarding boarding clogs up the aisle with passengers and luggage. I thought in an emergency this plane would not be efficiently evacuated. You can call me Seelochan Beharry 604-261-6690"
Pros: "Friendly crew Newer airplane (787) On time"
Pros: "On time. Luggage arrived within minutes. Great Service."
Pros: "No tv working. Surprise"
Pros: "The 787 was amazing."
Cons: "I had to take two different flights connecting through London Heathrow to make this leg of the journey."
Pros: "The flight is not packed, so rather comfortable"
Pros: "I enjoy flying and being in the air at high altitude in any air line. Away from everyone else and with a new family who are flying with me."
Cons: "The charge per bag is ridiculous. It should be included as part of fare paid. Understood another bag charge as a separate fee."
Pros: "Great seating and very spacious for economy seats."
Cons: "Nothing"
Cons: "The flight attendant call bell and the overhead lighting controls are on the touch-screen. However, there are also buttons on the arm rests. What a pain! I alone must have generated 3 or 4 flight attendant false alarms by leaning on the arm rest. Other passengers did the same. Lights were going on and off, bells chimed each time someone leaned on the buttons. How stupid an oversight. I hope the aircraft's great safety systems they talk about during the pre-flight briefing are better thought out!"
Cons: "1.5 hours delay. After arrival, luggage was also delay for 1 hr. Flight schedule to arrive at 12 pm. End up I left the Santiago Chile airport at 330pm."
Cons: "Flight delayed about 3 hours."
