Cons: "Waited in the main terminal almost two hours before the check in desks were open."
Cons: "No Food to buy available on board. We thought we could buy something. The coffee was good."
Cons: "Because of Boeing disaster did not go to Halifax but were sent by Westjet to TO and then on with Air France. Boarding areas in TO are a long way away (lot of walking) and customs in TO is frustrating and takes a long time."
Pros: "The plane was nice and quiet, and the crew was lovely."
Cons: "It was so cold!!"
Pros: "Could not tap opinion on previous page. Good trip. Good service. Good legroom which was covered."
Cons: "Food prices."

Cons: "Nothing"
Nothing , two weeks of dealing with booking glitches on porters side , as our main international carrier was fine ,we were assured. When we got to check in everything would be smooth , we were confirmed there would be no issues, guess what happened? After an hour and a half at check inn we were told there was technical glitch involving payment we may not be able to fly , which would have set off a catastrophic chain , the undue stress on my family was unbearable .
Cons: "After boarding had to deplane and go on another aircraft."
Pros: "The crew was great and friendly."
Cons: "Nothing, I think for the flight duration it was good."
Cons: "I was required to pay for my carryon, which I was never informed during my booking."
Cons: "I booked this flight on Kayak. No mention at booking that this airlines has a ludicrous policy of charging $50 for a carry on bag!....wow!...last flight ever on Porter."
Pros: "The cookies"
Cons: "They bumped our flight for no reason and we sat for 3 extra hours in Toronto as several flights to our destination passed"
Pros: "Crew was awesome."
Cons: "My seat was a bit grubby...food remnants on the seat"
Pros: "The snacks were great and crew was friendly!"
Cons: "My seat was covered in crumbs, cleanliness overall could have been better."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I lost my flight because the person know how old me"
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything - outbound flight was 5+ hrs late and would have been stranded at the airport at 1:30 am. Made other arrangements at another airport. Kayak, justfly and Porter would not refund fares. Hours on the phone, put in WMS less hold. Don’t use kayak - didn’t stand behind product or their customer."
Cons: "Lots of time waiting to disembark. Some free snacks would be nice to."
Cons: "The staff did not want to accept my ticket purchased through kayak, told me that should have bought a ticket directly through air transat, and they told me to buy a new ticket elsewhere if I wanted to travel on that day. So I had to buy a same day ticket with air canada for an additional $900 CAD, and my ticket bought through kayak was useless, making me waste the entire cost of the ticket purchased through kayak."
Pros: "The crew and counter check in were provided excellent customer service. Very impressed."
Cons: "My son and I are both 6’5” and the seat are too close together for leg comfort. Flying used to be about COMFORT for passengers. I paid for our seating thinking we would get extra legroom with emergency seating, I was disappointed."
Pros: "Flight, crew, meal and entertainment were good."
Cons: "Our luggage was lost on our connecting flight in Montreal. Not happy with that. However, it was delivered to our home 2 days later."
Pros: "Crew amazing. Passengers great"
Cons: "Seats are way too small. Aisles way too tight. Recent acquisition by air Canada must improve passenger comfort."
Pros: "Exit row window seat with empty row beside me. Next to washroom. Got 2hours sleep. All I can ask for."
Cons: "Business class upgrade for free."
Pros: "Loved the extra leg room."
Cons: "Food was horrible, had two bites and didn’t eat the rest."
Pros: "Crew was good"
Cons: "Old plane... not much room for legs and seating are uncomfortable! No personal entertainment système! Poor flight"
Pros: "Crew very good, food was good, middle seat of 3 could have been a little more comfortable."
Pros: "Flow as smooth , attendants were good."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed and then we sat about an hour on board waiting to get de-iced. Ended up over 1 1/2 hours late."
Pros: "Nothing much"
Cons: "Please train this guys for customer service and fix there attitude."
Pros: "Very organized crew for the boarding on instructing passengers with carry-ons etc for the overhead storage compartments. Flight left on time."
Cons: "My entertainment screen was malfunctioning. Very frustrating trying to watch a movie to the point I turned it off & read a book . If you are going to offer the the service make sure it works."
Cons: "When I had to change my wife's ticket due to an emergency, we were charged over $415.00. That is unfair."
Pros: "Their sympathy for our atrocious wait was, free pop and water, and some pretzels. $30 meal vouchers at the limited options gate area, which could only be used towards a meal (really? no where else?). Here's a were sorry email and a discount on your next flight with us. I have yet to see how much the significant cost for that discount but my expectations of Air Canada are very low."
Cons: "That delay was horrendous, I spent 10 hours at an airport. I woke up so god damn early to get there because of news spreading the worries of people waiting at customs immigration to the U.S. it only took us 40min to get through and the flight delay notice was given an hour and a half before departure. We couldn't even sleep on any benches because they were all designed for individuals to sit. It wasn't until our gate location moved to the end of that area was there any carpeted floor space to sleep on. On the flight, economy seating was very tight with limited leg room, and best of all our seats had no window, literally every other row in our section had a window. Air Canada handled this stressful event very poorly, once they figured out bringing a new air craft hours later, and everyone moved to the new gate area, all the attendants had left from their gate post until 40min before the flight which was hours later."
Pros: "Roomy plane."
Cons: "Restroom no working for disabled. Boarding was disorganized and chaotic."
Pros: "Airline provided a flight to Toronto, with reasonable amenities and boarding process."
Cons: "Had to load my own suitcase on the luggage belt - I am elderly, with back issues, traveling alone. Attendant was courteous and helped me, but stated that staff "doesn't do it any more" because of safety issues. No help will be given in the future. Plane left two hours late - I missed my connection. Was given a stipend for an overnight stay, but no explanation was given about the delay. Staff couldn't tell me if my checked baggage was on the plane the next morning. I probably won't fly Air Canada again."
Cons: "Bumped off a direct flight from Toronto to Fort lauderdale with 6 other people. We all booked back in february. They are overbooking 5 to 10 percent now and kicking off the people who paid the least. There is no advantage to booking early only to be bumped. At the gate the AC employee said we would be credited 3 to 4 hundred dollars but we had to run to the customer service desk and then hop on an AC flight to Houston connecting with United Airlines to Fort Lauderdale. At the customer service desk a herd of people waited anxiously to be re booked and compensated. When they started handing out notice that they would send us 200 in the mail there was an uproar that fell on deaf ears. We then ran to get on the houston flight only to find out that flight was overbooked as well. We had to wait to see if they had any no shows. Fortunately I was able to stay on the plane. Upon arriving in Houston we were quickly ran to the United airline gate only to find out that Air Canada had dropped the ball again. We were not booked on the flight. Five of us had no seats booked , while I was booked to depart on a morning flight the next day with no accomodations arranged? Fortunately for us United Airlines picked up the ball and some how got us on the plane to Fort Lauderdale. Upon arriving around 1140pm! should have arrived at 5:20pm direct! we quickly ran to the AC terminal to get our luggage that was originally checked on the first flight. We were told that it would be there. AC employees with no concern at all told us it's not here and it would have been on the united flight that we just arrived on. After I explained that we werent even scheduled to be on the United flight by air canada, so there's no way it made it onto the plane. They looked at us like we were idiots, closed thier office doors and walked away. We ran back to the other terminal( shuttle buses stop at 11pm in Fort Lauderdale?) only to find no luggage again. Fortunately United picks up the ball again and traces our luggage back to Toronto, AC pulled it and left it sitting there. Because of Air Canada's inept employees I missed my rental car reservation and had to buy new clothes for the wedding the next day. They said they'd have the luggage to me by 11 am , it arrived at 11:30 pm the next day. Save yourself the hassel, fly any other airline other then the iconic continually bailed out by the federal goverment airline. If you know, no matter how bad your company and service is ,you will always be bailed out would you work hard? Probably not, hence the atrocious attitude and poor performance of this dead horse airline."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 1.5 hours but no one was in much of a rush to get it going"
Cons: "One man wanted me to check an empty carry on bag I travel for 10 years with this high quality foldable carry on bag, it is a tight in their test cradle because of the wheels but it does fit. Even a passanger offer me is support telling the agent he was not reasonable after getting the bag in and out 4 times he still wanted me to check the bag in ? After 10 min arguments he said ok put it on the floor ! I could of put 2 of my foldable bag on the top storage if I had 2.... it was a connecting from same airline a much smaller plane which accepeted the bag . Very unpleasant ! Some people like to feel in power."
Pros: "The staff was very professional and quite helpful. The flight was good. I would recommend it to everyone."
Can't be happy with a 5 hour delay. Only given $10 voucher for food and still EVERYTHING was an upcharge during the flight.
TThe first time I have ever flown with flare and both ways sucked
There was no entertainment There was no food or beverage service , not even a glass of water The plane door could not be opened upon arrival
I try to buy water the cabin crews told me I had to wait for them to come around with the trolley I waited over 2 hours !!!!! Literally 2 hours I was so thirsty .
Lots of leg room in the front rows. Wish water was free.
I don't like anything. The crew was so bad. Misbehaved badly. The worst flight.
Long wait for baggage check in with only one on site attendant.
The worst airlines I have seen in my life they don’t respect anyone they don’t care about anyone they lost our luggage and no one is responding. We waited for five hours to get our luggage back.🤬🤬🤬👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Great staff. Cramped seating for someone 5 feet, 2 inches and average weight. So if you're tall or heavy -- good luck. Even if you wait until the 24 hour checkin time, you still charge for seating. Really? So either it is a less-than-pleasant experience or pay the price of a "big name" airline. And if I'm going to pay their prices, why would I fly in your cramped seat? So, in the end, you want to give less comfort for the same prices as Air Canada. Go figure.
The airplane smokes and they think it's normal.... this is sign of deterioration
