Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "The crew services are excellent"
Read more about Air Canada
Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "The crew services are excellent"
Pros: "IFE, good system, GUI, and good content, various options and languages."
Cons: "Crew service, uninterested, careless, unemphatic, absolutely not dedicated to service, even borderline rude."
Cons: "Have kinder staff. Be more customer oriented. Be more like Westjet."
Pros: "A lot of empty seats so room for sleeping and good choice of movies."
Cons: "No information about the delay, no vaucher not excuses. Crew non existent during the flight compared to Asian airlines. Food was so so and not the greatest way to come home."
Cons: "Tight uncomfortable seats. Terrible food."
Pros: "Not much."
Cons: "1. Broken arm, asked for 1st pre-boarding. Was told, “it’s over there”. That’s it. By the time I got on everyone in my section was already on. No one helped me w my one backpack, watching me struggle. 2. The crew appeared to hate their jobs. Scowls and general poor attitudes. 3. Food. Airline food in general is not good. However, this stuff was barely edible. Terrible. 4. Information. None. I had to use the APP to get any info. My connecting flight was almost 4 hours delayed - w NO info. In fact, NO GATE AGENT the entire 4 hours. After finally boarding my flight, the captain apologized for the delay because of a two hour delay in another city. Numbers don’t match - sorry. Then he announced we needed to di ice. No problem. Safety first. He said no longer than 30 minutes. One hour later we were on our way. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in my experience with Air Canada - very disappointed."
Cons: "Food"
Pros: "Flight was an hour late to VANCOUVER causing me to miss my flight to PDX getting me in 4 hours late to PDX"
Cons: "First time flying with Air Canada, mixups from the start of the journey until I finally got on my connecting flight"
Pros: "In flight service was overall very good."
Cons: "Service counter at check in Vancouver was terrible and unprofessional. Poor to very poor. Flight delayed with no announcement until you ready to board then they inform you your flight has been delayed but wouldn’t give reasons. Twice. Both connections."
Pros: "The price, the service:)"
Pros: "Seats were comfy, inflight entertainment was solid. Flight attendants were great all around."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 4 hours, caused me to miss my connecting flight in Vancouver. I landed at 6pm and they told me my flight would leave at 8am the next day even through multiple flights were available to get me to portland that evening."
Pros: "Crew is good, and as well as food and entertainment are good"
Cons: "The seat is small size and it may make for Asian people. Since the port of HK made the flight on the run way for a long time, that delayed arrival"
Pros: "Second time on this flight and cant say enough good about the crew and food, they are fantastic. The movies are great."
Cons: "How do you loose bags between the gate and customs Being tied up in customs because they lost my bags when we arrived in Toronto. One and one half hour wait and the bags never arrived at the final destination for two more days.? The seats on a fifteen hour flight could stand to be better."
Pros: "Cheap tickets at short notice."
Cons: "Inability to check in online and via machine in transit. Cheap flight gets you cheap service. My entertainment console did not work and had to ask crew to reboot it. Many others had same problem. Food is below meh. My travel was Air Canada all the way but portions provided/partnered with Alaska Air. I was not able to check in for both portions of my travel from HKG to YVR to SEA."
Cons: "Amenity kit in Premium economy sub par. Ear buds inadequate. Need noise cancelling headphones for the entire plane. On line "best price guarantee" is hogwash and completely untrue when tested."
Pros: "Entertainment system has a bunch of varieties to keep you entertained for a 12 hour flight."
Cons: "The delays were horrible!!! Had 4 flights with them. Seattle to Vancouver, Vancouver to Beijing, Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Vancouver to Seattle. Seattle to Vancouver was delayed so long that we almost missed our connecting flight to Beijing. Because of that delay our baggage missed the Vancouver to Beijing flight and we had nothing for 2 days!!! It was a hassle to get some kind of compensation and just having to wear the same clothes for 2 days. Also the Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Vancouver to Seattle flights were also delayed"
Pros: "The long flight had 2 meals and a snack."
Cons: "some turbulence."
Pros: "Good service and landed early. Luggage was quick"
Pros: "Entertainment system available at each seat."
Cons: "Tight seat space."
Cons: "Bad service"
Pros: "Ok"
Cons: "Have no blanket to passenger"
Pros: "The snack selection is excellent"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "Staff remember special requests"
Cons: "Generally not friendly, bathrooms were filthy from the time we got on the plane. Everything is dirty bad smells everywhere. Delayed, no space, no good food, no fruit, so many little things missing, limited entertainment options. LBP airport is the most inefficient airport in the world, always wait forever for my luggage with lots of rude staff everywhere. Some 400-600 people were trying to leave the airport through two lines to pass off the last sheet which is unnecessary. They should take a lesson from other airports like Hong Kong and Singapore. Absolutely despise going through Toronto airport as well as Air Canada gates when departing."
Cons: "THe food as usual on AC flights is only passable. . The warm rolls as advertised are ice cold. Some of your flight attendants can often be rude to customers and many could benefit from attending Weight Watchers as they can scarcely make it down the aisles and often bump into customers."
Pros: "The blankets and pillow provided to every single customer. The food was actually pretty good except for the breakfast meal could have been a little better."
Cons: "Pretty much just the breakfast meal and the buttons on the armrest, the person to our right kept accidentally turning on my light and changing my volume with her elbow."
Pros: "The pod were set up well. The crew service was very responsive. All-in-all pretty good."
Cons: "Getting baggage to and thru US Customs cut it real close to connection to LaGuardia."
Pros: "Everything went smooth no hitches at all people very nice"
Cons: "Not much"
Cons: "We had a terrible time trying to get in contact with Air Canada. We spent literally hours on hold and multiple times we hung up without any answer. Customer service needs to drastically improve."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and prompt. They kept us informed and acted very professional."
Pros: "SEATS ARE VERY TIGHT"
Pros: "I've been taking this flight for many years. The flight times, crew, and boarding process are all excellent. The food is always very good for a plane flight with plenty of options. When awake, the new seats are a pleasure and I especially appreciate the extra storage areas."
Cons: "By definition, this flight is long-haul with the necessity to sleep on it. In executive class, they have recently changed the "seats". The old ones were too cramped (narrow) for a 6 ft guy. The new ones are not only narrow but the table that telescopes down restricts the vertical height when the seat is fully down. It is literally impossible to lay on your side. This was a horrendous design and unacceptable for a sleeping flight."
Pros: "Comfortable seats in bulkhead, large overhead cabin space, friendly staff, lots of water offered"
Cons: "No extra blankets available. Would have preferred more Asian cuisine on HK/Toronto flight. Staff too busy with full economy cabin, so not responsive when pressed call button. Movie and TV selection not as extensive as Cathay, though kids same games much better."
Pros: "Boarding was on time, flight was smooth and the service was great!"
Cons: "I don't have anything negative to say about this flight!"
Pros: "flight was late"
Cons: "it was late"
Cons: "Food not good, and entertaiinment center did not work"
Cons: "Did not pay attention when serving meal to the people passing by not asking until call them back"
Pros: "Aircraft too crowded, travelling last year on Air Canada from Vancouver to Sydney on a Boeing 777, seating was 3 - 3 - 3, very pleasant in economy class. Flight from Vancouver to Hong on a Boeing 777, seating was 3 - 4 - 3, very crowded, narrow seats, almost everyone shoulders touching, aisles very narrow. On the inbound journey a few hours our of Hong Kong the announcement was made, that all the toilet holding tanks were almost full, please do not go to the toilet unless one had too, Where else could one go?. Would think some than twice to travel on this flight again. Cathay Pacific use same aircraft Boeing 777, seating was 3 - 3 - 3, aH that's better."
Cons: "Staff were very friendly"
Pros: "Prem. Economy class is pretty decent, love it!"
Cons: "food can improve some"
Pros: "It was part of Star Alliance (although they should be ashamed to claim it.)"
Cons: "Air Canada SQUEEZES 10 seats across on this 777 (I've never had more than 9 on any other airline) and it is very cramped and uncomfortable (you'd better like your seat mates because you will be rubbing elbows and shoulders with them for many hours, especially on this 12 hour flight. They have very little leg room as well. This is the most miserable long haul airplane I have ever flown on, and I fly a lot. Discount airline planes are more comfortable than this one. It was over an hour after we had our meal until they got around to picking up our trays."
Pros: "The plane was not full so there was lots of room to stretch out, very nice."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Bad service"
Pros: "The crew is very friendly and accommodating. Food was decent. We got thier latest plane with great little pods in business class. Overall it was pleasant."
Pros: "Seats were pretty wide and comfy."
Cons: "I was traveling overseas over a 10 day period. The inbound and outbound entertainment was exactly the same. It's pretty slim pickings when it's over 12 hour flights....."
Pros: "aircraft was new 787 - very spacious with excellent head and leg room. Plane ride was smooth and with very little roughness even during turbulence. Take off and landing extremely smooth."
Cons: "As a rule airplane food is not the best. Having the rolls warmed would be nice."
Pros: "Had heard a lot of negative comments about Air Canada online. There was no evidence of it."
Cons: "Food. The quantity was less. Even an eleven year old child was feeling hungry."
Pros: "It is my first time to fly 15 hours. It is a bit challenging"
Cons: "Some crew members have porker face all the time, not friendly."
Pros: "Boarding and on-time performance"
Cons: "Media absolutely sucked. Seat was not fully functional. Air crew was not on top of their game."
Pros: "I was given an awesome seat with leg room. Slept like a baby the whole time!"
Cons: "The seats with leg room are usually given to couples with a baby, but I slept through with earphones on and did not notice a single cry."
