I couldn't rate food or entertainment as neither were a factor in my short flight. I was impressed with with respect of time and schedule. Also, this was an incredibly smooth flight from terminal to terminal. My only minor complaint was being woken up for refreshment service. The experience was generally above average. The only downside was the absence of WiFi during my flight from Vancouver to San Francisco.
on demand entertainment in seat back awesome Check in Kiosk too demanding with endless demand for more information information then says go to counter. Counter agent unfriendly. Do it yourself check in luggage procedure not intuitive, upset employees frustrated the whole procedure.

It was a domestic flight so the food was not included. But we had not even a little snack and by the end of the flight they were coming around serving water.
My flight from Victoria was late taking off and then I was rebooked on a new flight from Vancouver to SFO without my knowledge the next day. I actually made it to the gate on time so I could have boarded my flight but Air Canada rebooked me instead. Completely unprofessional and unpleasant experience with no grace from the Air Canada staff. I will not fly Air Canada again
Headphones for the movies have too much bass and can't be adjusted. Almost impossible to hear. Great movie selections but can't really watch them because you can't hear them. Also the system is very slow.
I liked that I paid for the bulkhead. That was the only saving grace those seats suck. Why do they pack you in so tight pack you so tight
The flight attendant bumped into me repeatedly time and time again, throughout the entire flight, preventing me from getting any rest. He seemed unaware of his actions and I was very close to saying something, but I didn't because I don't believe he would have understood or altered his behaviour. It was very irritating

Air Canada from Edmonton to Toronto was disappointing but Lufthansa from Toronto to Frankfurt was excellent.
I ended up buying (for $340) "extra space" seats because I my flying partner was given a STY boarding pass, leading me to conclude that she was on standby and that we had to buy seats on the flight. I later learned that the flight was not sold out and that we could have gotten on as usual. To be honest, I felt swindled.
I'm Canadian. I have the unfortunate experience of pretty not having the choice to fly with them. THEY ARE TERRIBLE.
Only two check in counters for online bag drop, economy and premium economy clients, NO management supervision whatsoever, no announcements, whilst Business and first class had three check in counters operational, with the bulk of clients flying economy on a 747…..very poor service indeed. Stood in a queue for two hours to check in!!!!!! The flight crew were equally indifferent.
NEVER TOOK THIS FLIGHT. LUFTHANSA CANCELED THIS FLIGHT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. We were rerouted through Chicago on United airlines with a layover of five hours and then on American Airlines to St. Louis. The United club lounge in Chicago is good but there is no shower unlike Bangalore 080 lounge
Everything was fine except that the ground personnel in Toronto wasn't able to operate the jet bridge, so that everybody was stuck in the plane after landing for 40 min, so I missed my connection.
