Cons: "The gate was older, not well appointed and far from shops and better dining. We lined up only to be taken on a very long shuttle ride to the plane. I have had this experience before but in this case the planes location was virtually on the other side of the terminal. By the time all were boarded, the plane was late by about 15 minutes to takeoff, and we experienced more delay after that so that on arrival we were an hour delayed. Many missed connections in Vienna as a result. Crew seemed tense and on edge."

Cons: "Our luggage did not make it in a 2nd flight. We had to fill out many many many oaoers st Odessa airport It took 1,5 hours & our ride to hotel did not wait for us & left. Some other taxi driver gave ya a ride & charged ys $50 rather than $20 that ya the cost of our reserved ride. When we got to our hotel, we had to pay $20 for the transfer to hotel even though he left. Now we have no toothbrush or any change of clothes & hopefully we will get our luggage tomorrow after 2pm"
Pros: "Nothing, we never got to go on our flight to Vienna. The only good thing is the manager, Servando, found us an alternative route after some delay. Even then, we had to haggle and really fight for fair treatment for a mistake that was 100% the airline's fault."
Cons: "Our seats were involuntarily given away by the airport staff. We were never notified until we were scanning our tickets to board in. At that time, we had already checked in and received our boarding passes, as well as checking in 3 bags while we were traveling with a large group. There was no way we wanted to volunteer our seats, especially since we had a transfer flight to catch. We clearly stated we did NOT want to volunteer our seats at the ticket counter. No staff notified us until we were about to get on the plane to board. The flight supervisor was very rude and unprofessional, offering us no alternative solutions. I was really disappointed with such a grievous mistake by the airline, and I would not recommend flying Austrian Airlines unless it was absolutely the only airline available. They need to fix their processes for authorizing when they volunteer a passenger's seat. This caused our group a lot of stress and almost became a logistical nightmare."

WE RAN TO GET F TO FLOOR DAWN . IN THE END...WE GET BORDING CARD WITH SEPARATED SETS."

As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."

I also was not aware of the type of a ticket I booked, e.g. Economy light and what it meant for luggage fees."
Was miss informed on baggage allowance
Didn't like any of it. Seating was cramped, The plane was hot even with air on. The in-flight movie system didn't work nor did FlyNet.

Cons: "I had a swollen and sprained ankle during the flight, I had it resting near the aisle to stretch and move to try and keep it from swelling further. Unfortunately, my injured ankle was kicked several times by a rushed crew member. It would be great if they could be a bit more mindful and watch where they are walking. Also, the breakfast before landing was spoiled when I discovered fungus in my butter after I had already eaten half of it."

Pros: "The staff was communicative and genuine. The food was decent. Even though the flight arrived late I felt ok about it due to the direct communication of details about the situation. I was stuck in the extremely cramped space of seats just in front of the lavatory making the seat in front me 5 inches from my nose when reclined but the staff was sympathetic offering to ask the passenger in front of me to redress their seat more upright and also allowing me to spread out across two seats to compensate."
Cons: "While the staff compensated for the more than standardly cramped seating arrangement, I think the row of seats just in front of the lavatories should be either better designed or designated not usable. I am only 5’3” and 125lbs but still was faced with a mere 5 inches in front of me when the passenger in front of me reclined his seat. I couldn’t even stand in order to exit the row and had to crawl over the seats to my side. This had me thinking how dangerous this row could be in case of an emergency. Please consider designating these seats either not to be used or optional for passengers."

Cons: "I was sitting at the tale end. Seat was extremely uncomfortable. I was trying to rest yet flight attendants and several passengers were talking loud. Crews kept forgetting passengers orders/requests. A lady sitting besides me pushed a call bottom 3 times to get noticed. Flight attendants were too busy chatting with passengers to help other passengers. I have never seen that type of services before."

Cons: "I asked at the gate in Frankfurt if I would need to show all our passports again before boarding. The Lufthansa gate agent said she didn't think they would be checked again and to just have boarding passes ready. So I packed the passports on my carryon backpack and just had our 7 boarding passes for our family. Then at the end of the jet bridge right before getting on the aircraft, two people were checking passports again. I had to unpack them from the folder in my backpack. Not a big issue, but the gate agent gave me bad information and should have known we needed boarding passes and passports for boarding."
Cons: "Economy plus seats were a disappointment. Instead if the bottom cushion sliding out as with the Boeing 777, the seats recline too much. Uncomfortable getting in and out of our seats. Also, there are not enough restrooms. Lines of 5-7 people were common. I will not fly the A380 again."
