Worst experience ever. Stranded twice, coming and going. They refuse to complete the trip. I will go to court

WestJet provided a hotel voucher and food vouchers for one day but refused to refund us for a car rental that would get us home in time. While we made our own way home, we were emailed to say that our flight home was delayed twice more."
Pros: "Very disciplined and hard-working crew did their best to keep everything under control and moving on schedule. Boarding was busy but fairly well organized considering."
Cons: "Flight had an abundance of minors and babies at no fault of anyone, just unfortunate. Lots of crying, screaming, fidgeting and puking. Customers were pretty impatient in the early morning as well which didn't help the situation. Not sure if snacks or refreshments (other than water) we're handed out in a 4.5 hour flight as well."

Cons: "This was where the real fun in my trip happened. After my arriving flight got in 2 hours late and sat on the runway for 45 minutes because there was too many planes in the way for my plane to get to the gate I was not in the mood to run across the airport to go through customs and then through security (for the second time). However in order to make it onto this final flight that's exactly what I had to do. I also might add that it is incredibly stupid that connecting flights have to go through security again after deplaning, it's not like we're suddenly going to have weapons or anything so why waste that time? After I sprinted across the airport and got onto the plane the pilot announced that we were waiting to hear from the airport to take off. Long story short the poor pilot was trying to figure out what was going on but no one was even answering his calls. Eventually he realized that the plane hadn't been refueled and had to get a hole of them to refuel. At one point he must have gotten really frustrated because he left the plane in search of answers as the Toronto airport wasn't giving him any. Eventually after 2 hours of sitting on the plane we refueled and took off. On top of that my travel partner didn't get her luggage, we assumed that the Toronto airport lost it somewhere or something. Overall a complete nightmare."

Cons: "A couple checked their bags and for some reason ended up not flying with us. So the airline staff spent an hour searching for the bags and delaying the flight as everyone sat on board the plane. No entertainment was available on the plane and the flight attendants were also quite rude. This review is coming from someone who rarely complains or gets mad. If you have the opportunity to fly another airline, I would recommend it."

Pros: "The lounge was fairly comfortable. The staff was very nice, however, our flight was delayed 5 times! We were supposed to leave at 3:30 but we didn't leave until 7:00. Crew on the plane was super friendly and I think the pilot was great too. Skilled and always kept us informed of what was about to happen. Was only just over a 2 hour flight so no real food was needed nor was there entertainment. The 'in flight' menu was reasonably priced. Staff on the other end was helpful as well."

I spent an hour at the airport filling out the on-line visa application unsure if I would be able to make the flight... just glad that the process took an hour and was approved. Need an English speaking BA employee to sort these messes out. My luggage was to go from Londod ON Canada to Toronto Canada to Heathrow UK to Pisa. Made call in evening and part of info I had given at airport as to my hotels to receive luggage when found was not communicated in the computer.Luckily I called."

Cons: "The entire HUGE MESS from booking til sitting on our last airplane. The “new reservation” system is a horrible joke. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing so you get completely wrong info and they won’t do anything about it. I’m a wheelchair assist and had to call 6 times to remind them to put it on my ticket even though each time I was shown that it had been added. They kept seating on the back row of the plain and blamed me for not calling ahead to “let them know I was wheelchair assist so they could reseat me” BUT...they won’t answer you call unless it’s 24 before your flight and then to check at the airport who then tells us it’s out fault cause we didn’t call more then 36 hrs ahead...YOU CANT CALL THAT FAR AHEAD...and ...get this “they don’t have wheelchair assist on my ticket/file”. I about lost my mind over the hours on hold and every different answer as to what what to do and in the end blamed us. ASTONISHING TO ME. THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE ON-BOARD TO ANNOUNCE THEY ARE THE BEST AIRLINE IN NORTH AMERICA 2019...HORSE PUCKY!!!"

All my layover flights were on time with on time boarding/ departure which i Highly appreciated."
Cons: "I did not understand why they would use the same seat design they used for a 2-5 hour flight for a 11Hour Flight!! I had never experienced being that uncomfortable in my seat. I am used to flying 13hours straight but with comfortable and Padded! seats with room to move. the seats were not padded and there was little to no space to put your legs in a comfortable position. My back and neck were killing me in the last 2 hours."

While our flight was okay, the previous flight was overbooked and a number of transferring customers were bumped because their flight was late. I understand this is common practice, but the employees handled it VERY poorly, even yelling at the passengers when they voiced their dismay at what was going to be a very long layover after a very long international flight."

Cons: "Our direct flight to Montreal was canceled due to mechanical issues. The rebooking process was discombobulating and we ended up arriving at our destination after the rerouting that was stressful and ensured that we lost a whole day of our vacation time. Our flight back the entertainment system in our seats did not function."
Pros: "I enjoyed the crew, the food and the entertainment. The crew did give us peanuts for our extra 5 hours on the plane."
Cons: "We were 3 hours late for departure and took 2 extra hours in the air because of re-routing. The seats were abnormally stiff and went back so little that it was extremely hard to fall asleep during the 18 hours we were on board. The crew was unwillng to let us bring our instruments on board and thus, they cracked from the air pressure during the flight."
Pros: "You fly a beautiful plane, the Boeing 787. Excellent entertainment, more comfortable seats, and just about everything on this plain was upgraded. It is a case study of how to do things right. The most impactful for me was air humidity. It was refreshing to fly and not feel like I've been in the Sahara desert at high noon. So, your starting point is really high, but you really need to look at your service."
Cons: "our flight was 40 minutes late in departing TLV. My connection in Toronto then was changed to a later flight, which was then delayed too by 50 minutes. all in all a 14 hour flight with connection ended up being close to 18 hours. My biggest two complaints about the flight itself is the food & the toilets. Your meals are the worst I've had in a major airline, and you should not serve customer frozen of close to frozen bread or sandwiches. If you are serving rolls, sandwiches or pitas, or bagels heat them up first. El-Al has been doing it for decades, go look at how they do it. But besides the bread/sandwiches issue, your meals are a really bad version of frozen supermarket meals. Just terrible all round. The other complaint is the bathroom. It was not cleaned frequently enough."

Pros: "Because of the snow storm in Canada, there were delay. Air Canada improved a lot since the last time I travelled with them maybe 3 years ago. They are nice and want to help us. Since there were a delay at MCO, I had less time to catch my flight at Montréal. Everyone was helping. They look at us and smile. We don't seem to disturb them like before. There were an exeption with the woman at the Air Canada desk (MCO)for the luggage and at boarding who was annoying by my question and demand. She was the only one like that. Other passenger also notice it Everything went well also when I travel on my way to Orlando Nov 30."
Cons: "The way we were treated when we had to deplane because of mechanical problems. Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "Air Canada seems to lack organization or any coordinated effort through out the organization. They have a fully booked flight and instead of making people with hard case luggage check them they crowd them in on the same flight where there are delays trying to get peoples luggage to fit into the bins. Also through the 4 Air Canada flights flight attends were constantly running down the aisle and hitting customers shoulders and not apologizing. it was also disruptive when people were trying to sleep (these were the 3 flights going to hawaii through calgary and vancouver and then back through vancouver. Probably will not fly with Air Canada again till corporate starts considering clients."

Cons: "I was stuck up against the back galley with no armrest on the aisle but that was only the beginning when the guy in front reclined his seat the seat back it was dangerously close to my head. In the event of turbulence it would have been easy to sustain a massive blow to the head from the seat in front of me during a whiplash type motion. The person that approved this seating arrangement should be terminated."
Cons: "Spending the entire flight with my knees wedged into the the back of the seat in front of me was painful. I'm 6'2" which is not unusually tall. So greedy and careless for Air Canada to put the seat rows so close, selling an extra row of seats while causing pain for all the tall passengers."
