This is not really an Air Canada item, but the PA system un the Cancun airport is very poor. Any passenger announcements or changes were basically inaudible.
It was good. They ran out of snacks, which we didn't get the first time through. Free movie selection was great. Glad my husband had extra headphones with him. Airplane was still cramped, but we survived. I had to squish between him and another man. I'm glad I was smaller than them, but still tight.
I am used to the seat sizes and the bathrooms being so small. Main complaint was that the world travel map was not working and the food is poor. I think they need to come back with the idea of free meals when the flight is over 5 hours. Buying meals is terrible as I can not eat much gluten. Over all I will always fly Air Canada as it is reliable and friendly staff. I really like that now I can track my bag as to where it is and when loaded on the airplane.

We have all noticed how almost all comforts have been eliminated from economy flights. But this was the first time on two international flights, where we were only offered “complimentary” beverages, but not even a cookie or a little bag of nuts or pretzels. Pathetic!!!
This website did not advise the prices were in $USD, when the flyer (me) was flying within Canada only and only a Canadian resident, and booking this flight in Canada. Furthermore, the area to board the plane was unusually hot and sweaty.

The flight was delayed with zero compensation only hours before the flight. The pick up driver had a very long drive so he was already on the road when the flight was delayed so he also had to sit and wait there for a long time. again zero compensation for anything. not even a voucher for food or drink.
