Great check in process in LA and good service The check in process as well as at the gate is way better in the US versus canada 🇨🇦
Air Canada cancelled our flight and reschedule it 26 hours later that completely interrupted my family's long waited Japan trip, it wasn't due to natural reason such as weather but under the company's control. On the day we wasted 9 hours of our time from 6am to 3pm, including a few hours in the customer counter waiting for supervisor to handle our rescheduling. When we came to the counter for rebooking help there were at least 4 employees on the counter but we were told they were not trained to handle customer rebooking, we were also told the supervisor could come 10:30 to handle our rebooking, but she showed up more than one hour later, the end result was exactly the same so the few hours we spent waiting for her was completely wasted; We already prepaid hotel and all the tickets for the our stay in Tokyo so all of the cost for the first day is completed wasted; The $80 meal voucher issues was far less than our financial loss due to the financial cancellation, and it was not surprisingly invalid (as Your company screw up everything possible along the flight), the vouchers were supposed to last 72 hours, when we tried to used it at our lounge next day less than 24 hours from its issuing at a designated restaurant, the worker there couldn't scan the vouchers after multiple tries on all 4 vouchers issued, so we had to pay the food from our own money; For the two return flights they were also full of unfortunate events that caused bad experience and further delay and waste of our time, both flights departed late and the last leg had another significant delay of more than half an hour after touchdown, the gate was for some reason not available so we waited more than half an hour, when we got out of plane it was almost one hour later than the supposed arrival time; The gate you arranged is the farthest in Vancouver airport, also was the luggage pickup location in Seattle airport; We also called customer service for rescheduling help and after a long time wait (more than an hour) we got a call back but the CS representative was equally clueless and unhelpful. Other than a fatal crash, your company couldn't do anything right and provided the worst service possible among the tons of flights we have taken in our lives.
Boarding was so so after zone 3 was called all other zones went in
Flight was late leaving. Charge for luggage which still has not arrived and will be delivered in a week.
For goodness sake, board from the back of the plane to the front and assign overhead space. It would fix everything. Seriously.
Ditto to what i said earlier. I thought my earlier response included this flight too!
Obviously the leg room...but I guess that's what business class would be ..expensive though.
Fair. What's the point of partnering with United if we cannot use the lounge. My wife is a frequent flier with United but we were refused access to Air Canada lounge
Flying with Air Canada is still better than the discount airlines like Flair. The seats are more comfortable and the on-board entertainment is better, with each seat having a built in screen and lots of content to watch. Onboard WIFI is also great to have, as well as plugs for charging. I think passengers in general are getting better at not bringing too much luggage onboard, and Air Canada is better at managing this without customers feeling like they are being taken advantage of with extra fees. I have travelled on different airlines and all seem to be loading faster, with fewer people bringing both a carry on and a personal item. Now I just bring one item and it fits under the seat so I don't need to worry about finding a place in the overhead bins. Overall, across the industry, asking customers to pay for carry on baggage is fair because it allows customers to only pay for what they need, and it helps to keep the planes on time. Kudos to Air Canada for its approach - the desired result is achieved without customers feeling that they are being surprised and caught with unexpected extra fees.
I’ve wasted 7 hours of my time because of the delayed. ;(
Must have had an elderly tour on the trip. Plane boarded via tarmac and had both front and tail stairway access. We waited about ten minutes at the rear entrance while elderly folks entered the forward access and walked all the way back to last rows of the aircraft! We could not access the row until every one of them finally reached the final rows. There should have been an agent directing folks Forward and Aft based on seat row. It was comical.
I had great difficulty in switching flights. The airline said it was up to Kayak and Kayak said it was up to the airline! Incredibly frustrating!!!
I didn’t know i’d be flying AA for the long legs.
The flight was good. It arrived at Heathrow on time but then there was no transport to take us to the terminal. We sat on the plane for an hour waiting for a bus. I will avoid Heathrow if possible in future. The crew were very apologetic.
Excellent service by the flight crew, and the food was relatively very good compared to other airlines.
I paid for full WIFI- it was terrible, kept being in and out could not listen to a podcast
Horrible experience. They broke the handle of my checked in suitcase and then refused pay for damages
The crew was friendly and helpful. The food was terrible.
Crew was excellent. And no surprise that the seats aren’t comfortable at all. But that is every airline.
British Airways Flight 525 from Florence to London on July 29th 2025 was the worse flight I have ever been on. The flight was excessively delayed with poor communication from airline as to the reason for delay. We were notified of need for an unscheduled stop in Pisa after boarding due to weather which was limiting ability to fuel up to the capacity needed for the flight to London. Though we understand and appreciate the safety concern, on quick web search we later learned this was a recurrent problem. We were subsequently kicked off our connecting flight out of London to Port land, Oregon (also on British Airways) though that flight was also delayed (we were told we would not be able to make it in time, but ironically the amount of time it took for them to rebook us would have been more than sufficient to make the connection). We then had to stay overnight in London at a very mediocre hotel, had to take a flight out on a different carrier which involved a stop at LAX (not a direct flight to our home city which we had paid extra for the convenience). Half of our bags did not arrive in LA and we had to transfer the bags ourselves from the international terminal to terminal 6, only to have most of this luggage that made it from London to LAX not arrive in Portland. They bags were eventually found but took over 60 hours for delivery. The entire trip home which was suppose to be 13 hours took over 40.
