Cons: "CRJ200 planes are always a bit cramped, and having to gate check anything bigger than a small purse is an inconvenience. Hopefully the fleet will change over to the Embrair planes soon. Beware 'Basic' flyers (cheap tickets): you are not eligible to take an earlier flight even if available."

Also, the engine sound was so deafening with such intense vibration that I was unable to hear the flight attendant speaking to me from 2 feet away, much less anything overh"

Cons: "We barely made it through a storm. Super scary. Even the pilot said we "barely made it" over the speaker. I would rather be hours late getting home than feel like my life was possibly gambled with. I have my pilot's license so I am not unfamiliar with having to create an alternate flight plan when inclimate weather strikes. However, this was scary. My boyfriend quietly had a panic attack while we were on board. Would not fly Delta again because of this experience."

Cons: "Not sure who was in charge of loading the plane with food for purchase, but they forgot it all entirely. The crew was kind enough to give extra snacks. Kinda curious how you forgot to load a plane with food for purchase and how did the crew not notice in advance? I would think that is one of their checks of the cabin. Not mention who ever signed off saying they filled the plane with food for purchase lied. Very frustrating not only for the crew but for the passengers."

Unloading plane went fairly quick but could have been a problem for short connections. Those people should have been allowed to leave first."

Since this was a scheduled late departure and they still offered the full menu, I chose to have only the appetizer portion. This turned out to be a fine soup, salmon salad and multiple extras. This was perfect for an 11:00 PM dinner."

Both flights delayed multiple times. Terrible customer service. Ever desk I went to thd refused to help and told me to go to another desk. I'll be contacting west jet today.

It was due in part to unbelievably poor organization: we couldn’t hear the person telling us which section was boarding, there was no clear line up and only one person slowly checking our boarding passes. Cons: "One of the flight attendants was incredibly dismissive. “Forgot” to ask for my order to get lunch, so needed to call him so he could take my order (he was already in the middle of eating his own food) and of course by then what I asked for was not available, and the options for food were bad. On top of that, the trash from the top of my table was not cleared for a long, long, long time (even though everyone else’s in my section were clean). First time this happens to me in all my years of flying, specially in upper economy class."
Pros: "Food vouchers in Calgary for the 6 hour flight delay due to WesJet computer issues on Toronto plane. $100 credit Bag pick up Minmico at WS Care Centre tried hard to arrange a seat on an earlier flight due to my inquiry; let me call home twice on her phone to advise husband of flight changes. She tried to organize my bag to be put on the earlier flight at the last minute although she was unsuccessful."

Cons: "There was quite a delay on my flight and I didn’t get an email to let me know there was a delay. Because I happened to go to check in earlier, I happened to noticed the delay. I wasn’t happy about not getting an email. I called West Jet to find out about the delay and it took approximately an hour to speak to someone. When I did, the delay was explained as weather related and the reason for not getting an email was because they hadn’t gotten to it yet I believe. I wasn’t happy with that as a reply. The flight was then delayed again by several minutes. I would have appreciated some form of compensation as I was going to get a lift home from the airport and ended up having to pay for a taxi as I was coming in so late. In all other flights, I know west jet to be quite an accommodating airline. The crew was great, I simply didn’t appreciate how the delay was handled."

Cons: "My flight to Calgary never happened. In fact due to weather conditions, many, many flights were delayed, some cancelled. No more flights to Penticton, so I had to take a flight to Kelowna after 6:00pm or fly the next day. I met a couple to share a ride to Penticton once I reached Kelowna. My luggage was lost in Calgary and so I went on to Penticton, to Osoyoos. The next day, West Jet delivered my suitcase to me. I appreciate the voucher I was given to buy a few things and the promptness of my luggage. We live in Canada, the weather in the winter can be quite an annoyance and so it was last week."
