Cons: "The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection."

Cons: "The ticketing when purchasing a ticket from NEW YORK is very unclear and even though we wanted a JFK ticket, the NEW YORK search showed a ticket for NEWARK NJ so my step dad ended up going to the JFK airport - An elderly man who has trouble with English and no one was willing to help him to rebook his ticket. Not only that - the Lufthansa people VOIDED his entire ticket including the second leg because the agency wasn't picking up for a rebooking so the entire ticket cost was lost - $1200 - GONE! We couldn't even get him a one way ticket so he could use the return part of the one he bought. This is an absolute customer service disaster. This man lost all his money, he saves up all year to go see his family. That's an ugly way to take advantage of people."

Cons: "I was denied boarding on the Dublin to Munich leg of my connecting flight from Newark to Munich. My ticket was booked through Lufthansa, but the transatlantic leg of my trip was operated by United. When checking in with United in Newark, I received two boarding passes, one for each leg of the trip. I arrived on time in Dublin for my flight to Munich and tried to board the plane for Munich with the boarding pass I had printed in Newark. After scanning my ticket, the Lufthansa employees at the gate informed me that they had no record of me or my plane ticket in their system. I showed them the email confirmation for my ticket, but they still could not find any record of my ticket in their online system. The employees seemed more concerned with boarding all passengers as quickly as possible than assisting me. After being denied boarding, I had to go back through passport control to change my flight, and ended up getting to Munich nearly 6 hours behind schedule and missed an entire day of vacation. A Lufthansa employee told me that out of every partner in the STAR alliance, United is the ONLY airline they have had this problem with. I find this inexcusable, I will be AVOIDING ANY United/Lufthansa connecting flight from now on."

We traveled with another couple who've flown internationally multiple times, but this was their first Lufthansa flight as well, and they said it's the best they'd had. The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

Cons: "I have travel with WestJet many times is the past and had nothing but good to say. This was my first time using WestJet Encore and was totally shocked and disappointed. The flight crew i found to be very rude with and had an attitude. The biggest shock was the greetings and all announcements were in English accept the safety rules where the pre-recorded tape was played. If asked about the return flight from Halifax to Montreal, one word to describe it "disaster". I was totally turned off with WestJet. I will for sure continue using Porter as I was always pleased with there service. As they say "you get what you pay for"."

Also this flight 3535 on Dec 21 Mtl- Toronto made me nervous although I fly often. Most nervous I have been because pilot took time to gain altitude after take off, and when landing had to accelerate then decelerate a number of times. Landing was (with 2 km/hr winds i.e. not much wind) almost on one wheel. 4. Food does not have to be so cheap e.g. sweet snack bar? Please bring back an assortment of nuts as they are at least nutritious. Thank you for reading."

The crew in Westjet plane told me that all airlines were delayed in Toronto airport due to bad weather , and so that I would not miss my connecting flight."

The wheelchair that I had ordered for my travelling companion was not there, either at Manchester or Philadelphia. The seats that I had reserved were given away to someone else. Whilst the plane flight itself was okay, the airport experiences on either end were miserable."

Pros: "I was running late getting through check-in because there was an abandoned backpack that caused a huge mob scene and delay. The American Airlines/(Finnair) check-in staff were WONDERFUL and made it all OK, pulling us out of the mob to get us through check-in. Then I went through security, which the check-in staff had tried to expedite, and got stopped for a random inspection. Then, after boarding passes were scanned, I was again stopped for a random search that took apart every zippered corner of my purse and my carry-on bag. But again, everyone was lovely to deal with. By the time I got on the plane I was grateful for having caught the flight, and for the kindness of the Paris staff, and marveling at what an obstacle course it had been. And I had enough leg room."

The food was like school cafeteria food, so I ate what I had brought with me. 3. The seats on airplanes never fit my body right. I sit very straight and upright, and I'm fairly tall. The airplane seats keep forcing my head forward and my back into a hunch."

I was flying business class on flight TP059 on March 4 2018 and have Gold status on Star Alliance. Many passengers had declined dessert and I felt extremely embarrassed by having been denied food on a plane for the first time in my life. The attitude and lack of tact of Comissario Bruno on TP059 spoiled the whole flight experience for me."

That flight was delayed (they didn't have enough room in the plane for luggage and were scrambling to put things below). Once we arrived in at our second location, we sprinted through the airport but arrived at our gate with 10 minutes to spare only to be told that the entire flight was full and that we were not able to board. We asked- how this was possible? We are here on time, we have booked our tickets months ahead of time, and there is no one else here at the gate... it made absolutely no sense. All the staff people did was shrug their shoulders and said that they couldn't help us and that we had to go to the transfer station. My friend and I were upset- by missing our flight we were losing our last night in Barcelona, seeing our friends, etc. before heading back to the United States. Once we got to the transfer station, we were even more confused and upset however, because the staff person there told us that in fact our seats were available and that there was no reason why were not allowed on the flight. However, she shrugged her shoulders and told her that there was nothing that she could do. She offered us a $10 meal card, booked us for the next flight 3 hours later (which put us in Barcelona late at night, way too late to see the city or our friends), and offered us absolutely no help in getting a refund. We asked to see the supervisor and after waiting another half an hour he came out and told us the story about how the staff person in Marrakesh put us as "no shows." This was a complete system failure, however he offered us no refund, no support, beyond telling us to go on the website and filling out a form. Once we got internet, we tried to get to the form- link broken. We called the help line, and after waiting another 20 minutes, we got connected to a woman who said that she couldn't help us- we had to go to the transfer service desk and fill out a paper form there or the electronic contact form. It seemed that every person had been well trained in how to pass clients from one system to another, to see if we would get too tired to file our complaints. No one has taken responsibility for this abysmal failure of the system, no one has apologized, and no one has offered any reimbursement beyond a meal ticket. I highly recommended that people pay an extra $20 for an airline where people are properly trained in how to use their computer systems, where they won't lie to your face, and where they may have a system where complaints and be properly filed and responded to. I have no idea how TAP Portugal is still in business."
