Super, long line at check-in. Once they opened up the first class window for everybody, things moved somewhat faster. Flight was still delayed by one hour. Flight itself was smooth. Food was good for the first meal and mediocre for the second. JAL flight attendants could speak better English.

The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation."

Pros: "I flew round trip on their flagship Airbus 380 from Toronto to Dubai, about 13-14 hours. Crew was great, plenty of food and drinks, about 3x meals, lost track of how many drink runs, maybe 5x. It was almost too much food & drink! The in-flight entertainment was great, touch screen was fantastic, USB port, even power outlet, on back of seat, plenty of entertainment choices from movies, to video games, to trivia, I even got a kick out of all the camera's mounted on the outside of the plane with all the flight tracking details available on screen, plenty of bathrooms. Its such a big plane it didn't even feel like you are flying. I'm 6'4" so I always choose an aisle seat so i can at least stretch one leg out, the crew was even mindful not to bump my elbow or even my leg when it was extended out into the aisle while i was asleep...which was more than accommodating to something I shouldn't have been doing! Overall Excellent, I wish every airline was like Emirates. They're bringing back the old school service and class airlines used to be like. I know people don't dress up while they air travel anymore, but I'll be dressing up the next time I fly Emirates! ;)"

Second bigpoint is doha to Delhi is operated via code share by Indigo. In short IndiGo is a shit airline to fly even domestically in India with because the planes are as bad as the service staff. Don't fly qatar India route in code share flights , especially it is codeshared with IndiGo
A quality of airline is determined on how they handle things when something goes wrong. My 1st flight was delayed by 5 hrs and I missed my connection. This was applicable to all connecting passengers on the flight. There was no communication on what was going on. It would have been helpful if somebody made an announcement that they are working on rebooking and asking us to be patient. There was a mad dash at the rebooking counter with almost 200 passengers crowding around 3 booking agents. There was no crowd management. The message I got from them was inconsistent as well. Just a total mess. When things go well, Qatar is a great airline, but when things don't go well... they absolutely suck. I had a 14 hour layover in Doha because of Qatar's fault and they did not provide hotel stay and I was business class passenger who payed top dollar for this shitty service.
Staff was great and very helpful. But in Mumbai airport had a tough time to get wheelchair and some misunderstanding in getting wheelchair for me and for my wife. It took them almost 2 hours to give us wheelchairs
This company violated my ticket terms in the form of canceling my flight while failing to notify me about the change. In an attempt to resolve things, they put me on an earlier flight which I reasonably missed even with my best efforts to catch it. It would have made a bit of sense if they changed my flight forward not backward, and they did all of that without even telling me. I've actually had to wait for the following day to catch a flight.

The airport staff of Qatar airlines was UNFRIENDLY and UNHELPFUL. They all acted like we were bothering them. They gave no help in moving from one station to another. In general they gave an extremely bad first impression of Qatar airlines!!

Cons: "Boarding this flight consisted of minimal organization on the crews behalf, the Gate's security machines were off, people scattered everywhere with not enough seats to fit everyone. When entering the gate (with security machines turned off keeping in mind everyone has already passed general airport security and is only trying to enter the gate. Staff would direct passengers towards an attempt at creating a boarding queue. Once passing the gate doors and walking towards the queue directed by staff, it seemed to be a normal occurance to have another staff memeber shout at you and redirect you another way. Getting scolded by gate employees and requested to remove all electronics turn them on and being requested to remove most clothing items at the gate while everyone is watching with security machines off while only selecting a few passengers seems to be a regular occurnace in Doha & with Qatar Airways. People standing all around, no queues were initiated by staff, instead staff would push through passengers to get to the front instead of propretly annoucing the boarding through an intercom. No matter how loud staff was screaming their sounds were drowned out by the passengers which turned boarding a full translatlantic flight into a chaotic scene. Once on the flight I noticed the headphones provided were broken, I politely requested a new pair...from 3 different employees...which took over 20 mins to replaced. Qatar Airways prides itself on quality unfortunately as an economy passenger I have yet to experience any of that other than when it comes to good on flight entertainment."

It was just before we boarded the aircraft that we had to literally go thru another security check, we were body checked, all our carry on luggages inspected again and swabbed down. The staff were very rough and not courteous, we were treated like scum. The business class experience for travellers should be better, we were then lined up with Economy class passengers. Turkish Airlines Ground Staff are extremely rude and condescending, muttering under their breath, laughing and being very disrespectful. This was very demeaning.

Cons: "Boarding was very annoying because when you go through security they make you feel like a total criminal for no reason. Checking our laptops as if we have something to hide. We already went through 3 security checks prior to boarding the flight. Security staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate for peoples belongings."
Cons: "Late into the flight there appeared to be a medical emergency taking place just a few rows ahead of me. No announcement was made; it was as though we were expected to ignore the situation. But with the lights in the cabin turned on, a small crowd gathered, and the passenger being vocal in his distress .. . a brief announcement would have been nice: Situation under control, no need to worry, flight will continue as scheduled. The passenger had a relapse a few hours later - again no acknowledgement from the crew to reassure those of us who could hear his cries of distress."
Pros: "The flight was smooth and almost ontime. Professional staff that was active throughout the flight assisting passengers."
Cons: "The access to the gate was through an escalator only, therefore people on wheelchair or families with strollers could not get to the gate easily."

Cons: "I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it."

It in baggage claim, the Turkish airline representative could not help or prove de a phone number for me to contact somebody indicating although she has the Turkish airlines uniform she works for swissport. 90 minutes later they said they might send the stroller to my house if found and that I may have to cover the cost as Turkish airlines will not....... terrible service terrible experience and I will never fly with Turkish airlines again"

There was also some delay in landing which seems due to poor weather but not communication. They seem nice but could use better training."

Pros: "I had two short flights with Turkish Airlines and on both flights I received good meals and entertainment. Young children in the seats around mine received shrink wrapped comic books and stuffed animals. Headphones were provided to those who needed them. I definitely did not expect such good treatment on such short flights. I really got the impression that they are trying hard to keep the quality of their services as high as possible. I really recommend these guys."

All the comforts the airlines used to give for free are still there on Turkish, with no extra charges for food/checked bags, etc. Great food, they got our special vegetarian meals correct (as opposed to a big hassle on another airline). Very comfortable flight."
Flew business class with Egypt Air. Didn't feel much of a business class experience aside from the fact that you can flatten your seat. The food was just okay-too salty overall, seat wasn't comfortable when put into bed position.
Thieves. Took my money. Cancelled the flights and now not giving it back.
Flight delayed about 45 minutes. Notifications within SSH airport were virtually nonexistent. Had to recognize on our own that our gate was flipped with the next one over. No visible signage changes, no announcements (that we could hear), and both planes boarded simultaneously. Confusing, but we figured it out. Otherwise all was fine.
For a Business Class this was the worst I have ever flown.

Cons: "When we book the flight we should be informed that it is mainly for Al-Haj people. At Cairo airport they should check them to know the reason for this cough and people who were not in Haj can be seated in a separate section in the plane to avoid infection."

Cons: "Not possible to print boarding pass, even at Luxor airport counter from where we originated, which means we could not use transfer service at Cairo and has to que again for all security and checkin lines. I checked in online but airline changed our seating without telling us. Egypt Air created this airline only for flights to Tel Aviv, so difficult to find checkin counters. One feels they don’t encourage people to take the flight."

Cons: "From when I got on the plane to Toronto everybody was arguing with each other, not telling that the whole flight to Toronto a baby was crying the whole way I could get no sleep no flight attendants came to check on the family to see if they could quiet the baby so basically it was very very uncomfortable and Restless. Got no type of sleep! Also passagers act like they did not know where there assigned seat was at so that took a good amount of time for us to figure out everything before we took off. Don't think I'll ever fly with that airline again."
