Cons: "Flight was delayed due to weather. That is understandable. However the crew was not helpful in sharing any information with customers about changes to connecting flights. Much time was wasted and I had to reschedule my flight. The staff members that booked my hotel and my new flight were short and brief and not very helpful or accommodating or informative. Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."

Luggage had already been put through security!! This put us in a TOTAL RUSH just to make it on the plane ourselves!"

Hours and several calls to reschedule. App didn't allow me to pick seat or check in on next day's flight. That flight was late (had to wait for flight attendants to arrive from another late flight. It should not take 24 hours to fly from Phoenix to Boston in good weather."

Pros: "Best crew on American Airlines. Very friendly. They moved me to middle row with empty seats and I was able to lie down and stretch my legs. Being 67 years old I really appreciate that kind of attention given to me. After I woke up stewardess came and asked me if I was able to sleep well and gave me ice cream and coffee . You don't get that kind of personal attention anywhere else. Great job!!"

Cons: "Left with plenty of time but: -Terrible traffic! More than 3 hrs -Had to wait 30 min for shuttle -At airport they said flight was via American, other terminal. My paper from Kayak says Air Alaska -Terminal for flight uses separate bldg so shuttles to terminal , more time needed."

Cons: "The plane was from 1970 and I mean that. A 10 hour flight with only main cabin tvs, no wifi or outlets? Atleast hand out ipads. The food was also absolutely disgusting. I know it's airplane food, but what a horrible first impression to anyone coming over to the US for the first time and they eat BBQ chicken that tastes like dirt."

Two flight attendants were obese, the rest were just overweight, all but one unkempt, sloppy, washed out. Worst looking crew I've ever seen. I think they belong in another field. No inflight film after many attempts to re-boot system. What has happened to American Airlines standards, they used to be so high?"

Cons: "First, the original 90 minute layover became 8 hours with the old buy this scheduled ticket and 3 weeks later we will switch it to 7 hours. After a 8 hour red-eye, it was brutal. BA was an hour late taking off from London to Warsaw. The onboard experience was charge for everything. No sodas, water, nuts, etc. Oh and boarding, cmon. The gold, silver and special people go first. I think that was 5 people. The other 150 plus, you are on your own, go. You have your typical isle 5 person holding up the entire loading procedure, trying to get their oversized bag in the overhead, versus loading from the back. Wow."

Cons: "it was not clear that finnair was being operated by american airlines. when I arrived to the airport in Paris, they couldn't locate my flight on finairr or american. my flight was missed and the staff on both airlines (finnair and partner american airline) were soo unhelpful. I have never missed a flight, I travel for work, in the air, more than on the ground and this was the WORST experience I have ever had. I was super disappointed that even after all the mistakes, no one would help me find a new flight and I had to pay for another one. Even after calling finnair several times and pleading for some answers or help."

Got lucky that they didn't move us onto a next flight because there was a domino effect on the flight. I stead of solving a problem for 200, they began to make problems for 600."

Cons: "I arrived to the airport Two Hours early. I had checked in online and obtained my boarding pass. I checked into Japan Airlines since this was the airline I chose. I get to the counter and I was told that I had to check into American Airlines. I rush to American Airlines and I was directed to check my bags in electronically. There was mass confusion, because people had no clue on how to operate the system. As my turn approached the system failed. By then I had 45 mins to board. I talked to a clerk and she directed me and the other people to the Custumer service desk. I waited my turn and time to board was approaching. They told me not to worry because the flight was delayed one hour. By the time I got to the counter, It was too late to board the already delayed flight. I spoke to a clerk via phone as i was at the counter and I wsa told I was to receive a refund due to the fact that this was not my fault. You caused a financial loos of money and time. as of yet I have not received my refund."

Cons: "No food! except pretzels and sandwiches for purchase. I didn't purchase a sandwich but the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using onboard wifi, as well as 2 tv shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."

Pros: "The flight didn't exceed 15 minutes to take off. Most AA flights I have taken in the past were delayed were 3+ hours. Boarding was completed efficiently and the entertainment, even though was on a common screen, was okay rather showing nothing."

They also forgot to my husband's beverage and never looked back. It would also be nice to have individual screens with the ability to freely watch entertainment provided."

I wanted to write about her rudeness to AA (BA was a co-share with AA). The audio and video did not work at all for the entire flight and they could not figure out how to fix it. The crew on this flight was a disgrace to American Airlines."

Cons: "Waiting for a plane to go that wasn’t ready to move, going for 2 rounds of de-icing when the 1st wore off, losing our place in line. Should have waited a little longer at 1st de-icing so we could have left in allotted time period (20 minutes after application). Also fairly certain we left Toronto Airport past the 20 minutes of 2nd de-icing. Which resulted in many passengers missing connection flights (myself included) with as much as a “We are sorry” from Air Canada. I know the weather was an issue, but wasn’t sole cause."

I explained I lived there permanently ; I was then asked why French hate English so much!!! To which I explained only narrow minded people would believe so and that the style of her comment were not appropriate . I explained my children were half French half British and that her comment was offensive ."

Pros: "The seating on the airbus 319 in main cabin is very cramped. Prefer Westjet 737. Will use them in future."

Cons: "Hey there good Air Canada folks. I'm a full-time, working, touring musician. I enjoy flying your airline overall, but touring with an acoustic guitar and/or a banjo is constantly stressful. There are clear guidelines about your policies for musical instruments posted on your website, yet your employees never seem to know them. Please have something posted for them at the gates, so I don't have to convince them EVERY TIME that it's okay for me to carry on my instrument in a soft case. A side note: Since airlines started charging for baggage, people are desperate to carry on as much as possible. This means there is always a struggle now against people with a bunch of clothing and personal items in their rolling luggage, to fit the instrument that is my LIVELIHOOD on the plane. Please find a way to make touring with Air Canada easier for musicians. At least return to gate check policies."

Cons: "Being upgraded last minute to only find out when the ticket is in my hand that my wife doesn't get upgraded even though we were told she was getting her new upgraded ticket printed. Doesn't end there. Immediately tried to return upgrade with the response that my seat was gone. Get on the not sold out plane and sat in my original seat anyways which I had to pay business upgrade for. The plane was apparently sold out. WRONG! Not impressed at all! Don't upgrade"
