Japan airlines feeds you even on 4-5hr flight alaska airlines you get a small package of cookies on 4-5hr flight

Amazing over all.

Left late and arrived late other than that it was good

Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.

Cons: "We were informed our flight was not to land in Haneda but at Narita. We specifically picked that flight pattern because of the ease of traveling from Hawaii to Haneda to Naha. We wouldn't have to drag two large suitcases and a rollaboard after checking out of customs and immigration very far. Same airport to land and depart. Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you'd be!!!"

So I requested the representatives at the check in counters at both airports to change our seats so that we could seat next each other. They were willing to help us out and we got the great seats. They had to ask other customers to help this out, too. In the airplanes, the flight attendants were extremely helpful and friendly when we asked them questions and favors, with nice smiles and calm quiet voices. No wonder the atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet during the both flights. The leg room was roomier and the facilities were newer. Apparently JetBlue has a quota to meet as to how many people they charge for carry on luggage. 2. Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run."

After the front desk continuously trying to explain to me how it was my fault some how, I HAD TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET ON A DIFFERENT AIRLINE OUT OF MIA AT 5AM TO MAKE THE WEDDING!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and as someone that travels for work and stays roughly 100 nights a year in hotels, I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOUR COMPANY TO BE ABLE TO PUT ME IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN!!!!"

They also realized the plane was full so offered customers the free option of checking a bag in cargo. I would have preferred if they advised customers before checking through security of this option as I would have taken it rather than discard with some bottled products. The entertainment video was great on board, they offered free beverages and snacks. The crew moved through the aisle fast and efficiently when dispersing the food, and again when collect the refuse. While we had a little turbulence, the flight was uneventful and the pilot handled the landing very well. Departing the plane was also fast and efficient, although takes time because the plane was full. Overall, I was impressed with JetBlue, and their flight team."

The amount of issues we had with traveling with Delta and gate agents was insane. We've never had this many issues with Delta, flights, luggage, and lack of customer support from the agents. However, the flight attendants on the flight were amazing and as kind as could be.

Not easy even for me a vivid user of tablets and smartphones. The seats had miniumal room available between seats it felt like I am on 5’qq so couldn’t imagine anyone taller that comfortable unless get first class. I even upgraded for “comfort” section which gave you a few inches extra. And wdith of chair me being a 36 waist was a little squeezed in. Crew was very good tho I will say that. But I laways fly JetBlue or Virgin America, or Alaskan Air for reason of more comfort and lower prices ticket but this time on flight close to my destination was Delta which I Flew for free, I would much rather buy ticket on the three others I fly if could have."

Pros: "This was a nice experience for a fairly typical airline. Meaning, not Emirates, Qantas, or the others that are supposed to be top-notch. To be fair, I haven't flown them, I'm just thinking of things I've heard and read. The seat was fine and typical as far as leg room and reclining goes. The food was what you'd expect on an airline (it was fine, but I don't despise airline food). The crew though, was wonderful. Really. Friendly, welcoming...I bothered one attendant a couple times for more water as I was very thirsty, and then asked for a beer after the beverage service was over. Often flight attendants will act as if you're demanding a foot massage or something, but this particular guy was very nice. All of the crew that I interacted with was just lovely."

Pros: "It was my first time with COPA. I went to Buenos Aires with them (Montréal»Panama City and Panama City»BA). Aircrafts were much nicer and newer for the Panama»BA portion. The boarding was on-time and the staff was very nice. Considering the price I paid, the food was totally acceptable. Also, they automatically made my check-in for me and my son the day before our departure (returning back to Montréal) which was a pleasant surprise! I do recommend COPA for a good price/service ratio."

There is no entertainment so I gave that a one. On the short flight that I was on there was a choice of snacks, I chose almonds, thank you very much for the almonds and beverage. Happy travels, everyone!"

I could have arrived at the airport later and paid less for my parking. - I was told by a gate agent I would still make my very tight connection (spoiler alert - I did not), so I did not ask to be rebooked on a later connection immediately. - Once it became clear I would likely miss my connection due to being delayed after boarding, I asked again about it, this time of a flight attendant. I was told there were 23 daily flights a day to my connecting city (there are not) and it would be fine. We sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes after landing waiting for a gate and the last hope of making that connection was gone. - Upon arrival in Toronto it turns out my connecting flight was cancelled and everyone had to be rebooked. The very pleasant customer service rep told me not to worry! They automatically rebook everyone and I've been scheduled to leave 10 flights later - the following morning. At 12:45 p.m. their best solution was a flight at 8:30 the next morning (later canceled). When I calmly explained that was not ideal, I was immediately given the "last seat out today" on a 9:30 flight (later delayed then canceled). I'm not sure who they were saving that for, but it is unacceptable to rebook people for the next day when they have free seats. I was resigned to spending 9 hours in the terminal (literally just a room with a few snacks) because I was also on standby for every flight until then, and fortunately after checking in again 5 hours later, I was handed a ticket for the flight leaving in 15 minutes. If I had followed Porter's original plan, I have no idea when I would have made it, as I already mentioned both of those other flights were later canceled and I've already gone over how Porter rebooks passengers. - I found out after I spent $20 Canadian on a sandwich and chips via the Porter website that they are supposed to give meal vouchers in a significant delay, but I was not offered one. - On the way back, I saw myself being set up for the same rigmarole. My first flight was delayed more than a half hour, leaving me with a very tight connection. Thankfully, I arrived at the airport earlier and was able to catch an earlier flight because as it turns out, the connecting flight I would have missed due to the delay ended up being canceled. I can only imagine what the rebooking process would have been, so I am glad Porter is accommodating about switching flights. I imagine they do so to save them the rebooking later, but still, it is not something all airlines will do. - Both flights out to Montreal were incredibly hot. I tend to run cold and I was sweating. The flights home on a warmer day were fine, so I'm not sure what was going on there."

Cons: "The flight was repeatedly delayed, at the gate, on the departing runways, and on arrival waiting for a gate. The Porter employees lied in ongoing manner about the length of the delays. I was seated by the departure gate and heard them tell passengers repeatedly, "10-15 minutes", when we were eventually delayed for 2 hours. When we were had landed and were delayed waiting for a gate to disembark, and the captain came on the intercom to tell us it would be a "five minute wait" the passengers literally laughed aloud incredulously."
