Pros: "The two flights were fine, nice WestJet staff on the ground and in the air. But it will be very inconvenient if I don’t get my clothes, toiletries, and other things I need for my trip."

Pros: "WS Care Center staff Minmico (think it was her name) arranged the 4:15 flight instead of the 6 pm flight but only because I requested her to check that flight when I returned to the CC to find out if it was possible to get on an earlier flight. I should have been advised when I first arrived at the CC from my delayed flight from Toronto that I could check back at the CC to see if there was a cancellation. Minmico allowed me to use her phone a couple of times to call my husband to advise him of the changes in my flight, which was very helpful. She tried hard just prior to the flight departure to have my bag delivered to the 4:15 flight but was unsuccessful. She gave me food vouchers, which I liked. I also thought the WS CC staff in Abbotsford was very helpful explaining the process for making a baggage claim when my bag didn't arrive due to my last minute flight change - the $100 voucher was appreciated when I picked up my bag the next day."
Cons: "Had to sit in the plane for almost 2 hours because the computer was being fixed on the plane. Crew did not communicate in a timely manner about when we would be flying.The plane should not have been in operation if the computer didn't work and passengers should not have had to wait on the plane for two hours while it was fixed. I missed my WS connecting flight to Abbotsford from Calgary and was only rescheduled on a plane departing 6 hours later! No one at WesJet Care suggested there may be a cancellation on an earlier flight - I had to arrange it by returning to the WS Care Center. I just barely made it onto an earlier 4:15 pm flight but without my bag which was put onto the later 6 pm flight. I chose to return the next day to pick up my bag."

Instead of arriving in Regina at 1 pm, we got there at Midnight. Missed my only Saturday of visiting with family. No apology from WestJet. Received only $30 in compensation for meals to be divided by My daughter and I. I viewed this to be very cheap on the part of WestJest, with no consideration for the value of our time. Will make a point of avoiding them in future for absolute certain!!!!!!!"

There were none on either flight. To make matters worse, when my tablet and phone batteries both died before the end of the first flight, there was no inflight entertainment, other than 1 ridiculous thing available, on either flight. American has switched to BYOD for entertainment, but forgot to provide a way to charge our own devices. Incredibly stupid."

For the flight, the air quality in the plane wasn't good and they seats felt like small prisons."

Cons: "A passenger caused a delay in security, and as I'm rushing for the gate, the agent closed the door and told me I couldn't board. She then marked me as a no-show, while she was standing right next front of her. I had to spend the next 4 hrs on the phone, trying to get my tickets sorted out. Then, upon arriving at Heathrow,... No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

I was bleeding, the passengers next to me gave napkins and I pressed it to stop the bleeding. The flight attendant gave napkins and ice, the pilot was informed. He had Atlanta fire and rescue meet me at the gate upon landing."

Pros: "I liked the way the AA gate supervisor too charge of the problem and solved it, with great deal of personal imvolvement and follow up. Also check-in crew was very much the best. I would say that AA showed the best of passages care to me. Truly outstanding."

Cons: "I don't usually do reviews, but this experience has prompted me too. I usually pick American over other airlines even if the price is slightly higher but after this last fiasco I doubt I will fly with them again. From the start of the trip there was a delay. I was told that I would have to stay in a hotel in Charlotte because I would miss my connecting flight. I agreed and waited for my flight that was nearly 2 hours late. I arrived in Charlotte and retrieved my bag as instructed and went to the counter. The lady then stated that it was probably best if I tried to get on the last remaining flight even though it showed sold out because "there have been delays all day and plenty of people have been missing their connecting flights". So I rechecked my bag and headed to the game. This flight was delayed, as it was the last for the night, so that all the connecting flights could be made. Okay, that is fair enough....even though I didn't get to board and now I no longer had my bag as this is now on the plane. 30 minutes after the plane left I finally get my voucher for motel along with a $12 voucher for food that can only be used in the terminal restaurants......which are now closed for the night. After 30 minutes of trying to contact the hotel for shuttle information I was advised that they were no longer taking airline vouchers. I , again, approached the ticket counter and I was advised that I "would just have to wait because there are no rooms in the system at this time." And none of this instruction seemed professional or accommodating. After another hour I was approached that now there are no other options in their system for accommodations and I would have to pursue options on my own. So......the higher priced one way ticket just became $100 more at no fault of my own."

Cons: "Since my flight was delayed from calgary I had to sleep overnight to catch a morning flight. To my inconvenience I had to wait to have my seat assigned at the gate. I asked the rep at the gate to please have an aisle seat but she asked me to wait as she will call my name for seat assignments later. As I waited like she called many names and not mine, i again reminded her that she didnt call mine and she then just gave me my boarding pass without even apologizing that shr had put me in a middle seat. I told her i cant sit im a middle seat i need am aisle because I go to the bathroom often. she coldly said. "no more aisle seats". bad experience with ground staff in general as this is not the first time."

Pros: "The whole experience from boarding to landing was great. Zone 2 boarding is one of the first called and the premium economy section has larger seats that recline more and don't affect the person behind as much. Food was decent and serve on a ceramic plate with real silver wear. On demand entertainment was adequate with a number of recent titles and even audiobook options."
Cons: "The section was set up in a 2-3-2 seat configuration and I booked the middle 3, but were given 2 in the middle and one one the left aisle. One of the middle seats was left open for the pilot to come back and watch movies during the flight. When I asked the attendant if we could swap the left aisle with the "pilot's" the attendant made it seem like it was a bigger deal but eventually asked the pilot who said he didn't mind. After all, it was just changing one empty seat to the other side of the aisle."

We did have to touchdown in Canada coming and going, but short and efficient hops. On the way back, it probably saved time because we were cleared in Canada so arriving back in Philly was like a domestic flight. Great Food and service. The trip to Japan on their new Dreamliner business class featured an amazingly designed pod - super comfortable, lay flat for sleeping, But has good layout and table space if I had wanted to work on laptop. Thumbs up!"

They said it was late due to late inbound aircraft. A fellow passenger informed me that TO was down to one runway and things would be late late - which they were. TALK to us Air Canada!!!"

A new boarding pass was printed for the next flight and she assured me that my checked luggage would accompany me from Toronto to Calgary. They also printed a boarding pass for my next flight to Lethbridge. On arrival in Calgary flight personnel ask all patrons to remain seated to allow those of us who had a connecting flight to depart first. I certainly appreciated this kind suggestion and it allowed me more time to reach my next departure gate."

Cons: "The way we were treated when we had to deplane because of mechanical problems. Air Canada spent little time looking for hotel rooms and told us if we can find one for ourselves they would be willing to give us up to$150 for the room if we saved our receipts. Where can you find a room in Phoenix for $150? You can't. The plane was suppose to leave 6:25pm . This was 9:00pm. No offer of food , drinks nothing. People were tired and hungry. Finally after a lot of complaining, that's when some us were given rooms they gave us vouchers for the hotels restaurant that was closed due to renovations. The agent was to,d this when they reserved the rooms but they lead us to believe there would be food there. We didn't get out until 2:00 pm the next day. And even that flight was late. I was exhausted when I finally reached my destination. I lost over a day of my vacation. I don't want to fly with Air Canada again!!!!!!!!!!"

Pros: "Everyone was very kind and helpful. I am glad to try Air Canada for thw first time this time."

Cons: "would be helpful to set up cabi lights according to destination's time. Also, no socks provided for this long flight."

Pros: "Frinedly staff. Clean cabin. Great entertainment and personal tv."
Cons: "I had seat 31k, by the emergency exit. I was told the most legroom and window seat. But I had to strch my legs to the left into my neightbor space. There was also jo window..."

Pros: "The flight itself was excellent, no comments there. The head stewardess was a bit stressed and bossy (not only to the passengers, but her staff too) but the other crew members made up for that with their excellent, professional attitude."
Cons: "Calgary Airport was DREADFUL!!!! The long lineups for Customs & Immigration actually caused me to miss my next flight, even though the Frankfurt flight was early and I had over 90 minutes between flights. Several passengers were expressing concerns about missing their connection, but the staff just shrugged and made everybody wait in line without even trying to organize matters. I spent well over an hour waiting for my passport to be stamped and when I finally got through and tried to locate my suitcase (which was MIA), my next flight was closed. At least my suitcase will be delivered to our home, which is a slight relief."

Pros: "The boarding ran smoothly and the employees were very nice and helpful."
Cons: "On this flight you had to have an iPad or iPhone to enjoy the entertainment, and I had neither."

Pros: "Boarding was fine. The food was not good and the flight attendants sat in the back of the plane instead of bringing drinks and food for a ten hour flight. We lost a day of vacation due to Air Canada not being held accountable for the flight being late as well as sitting on the Tarmac at Haneda airport."
Cons: "We sat on a Tarmac at another airport for five hours without knowing how long we would be there. Also, there was only one crew member that was helpful. Our flight was supposed to land at 2:20 pm and did not land until 10:30 pm at Narita airport. We were not compensated and were abandoned by Air Canada. We had to sleep in the airport since everything was closed."

Pros: "Flight was underbooked so I took an option to change my seating for more space."
Cons: "I requested a vegetarian meal and was given the exact same mediocre meal for both lunch and breakfast."

Cons: "First you changed my 830pm departure to a 2pm departure then you had me sitting in the airport for six hours with a flight delay. ....no explanations were given for the time change or the delays. Shitty flights shitty service. If I had more options I would never fly air Canada but I'm unfortunately stuck with you."

Pros: "The desk workers at the check in were great to me in Tokyo. My original flight was delayed so there was possibility I might miss my connection. The desk worker went that extra mile to change my flight to an earlier one. Everything was completed barely in time, but she also escorted me through all the way to board the flight so they would not close the doors on me. She was awesome!"

Cons: "There were issues with the aircraft which caused an hour delay for the flight. Upon arrival (unrelated to the aircraft) there was another delay from the airport not being able to allocate an available platform to exit the aircraft."

Pros: "The information screen did not work... Air Canada booth at Winnipeg staff excellent.. Calgary terrible"

Cons: "No in-flight entertainments in the equipment (plane)"

Pros: "All aspects of the actual flight were good. The flight attendants were pleasant and professional and the food choices were good."
Cons: "The flight we had booked was cancelled. Were were rebooked on a different flight - the time was good as it got us home when we were supposed to arrive. The changed flight involved an additional transfer, which was stressful because of tight timeline."

Cons: "The lady at the boarding gate at newark airport was extremely unpolite and with a very law service attitude"

Cons: "Well constancy gate changes in the airport to getting on a hot plane with no air going, then to waiting an hour for the plane to start because of the power cable (still with no air) crew didn’t give us any update from the very first one, all of a sudden we are moving, but only shortly because then we waited another 30 minutes to actually take off. Once in the air it took forever to get water, just pretzels for snacks and a horrible attitude by the staff. DO NOT DLY WITH THEM."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled due to weather. Earlier flight delayed twice for take off."

Cons: "Our first flight was delayed, which meant we'd miss our connecting flight. We were moved to a flight that would leave us in the airport for 8 hours. I called and someone got my onto an earlier flight, but when we showed up at the gate, we found out she hadn't finished the transaction and now there weren't enough seats for us. We were supposed to land in RIC by 2, but by the time we got a flight (which was again delayed), it was almost 10pm. The only helpful person I dealt with was John, who took my call to get us on another flight."

Cons: "Major weather issues so delayed boarding and flight. That's understandable, but poor, often rude, gate operations. Often no, inaccurate, or misleading information. They seemed confused, as if this were the first time event."

Pros: "Our flight was on time. Economy plus seats were roomy. Also, we had gate checked car seats and the pilots waited to ensure that they were delivered before de planing."
Cons: "My only complaint was that there was no food for sale. We had 2 hungry kids and we only got some free pretzels and a drink. It would have been nice if there was a snacks to purchase."

Cons: "Delayed at Chicago for 8 hours before they canceled the flight. It was beautiful & Sunny in both Chicago (depart) & Omaha (arrive) all day. The flight was most likely canceled because of an incoming flight that never arrived. Stayed at hotel on my own dime after wasting an entire day. Completely unacceptable and will never use airline for this route again."

Pros: "Smooth boarding. Friendly crew. Got us there on time, despite a late start That included a gate change."
Cons: "Was asked to check my carry on bag, because the flight was full. Meaning they sold the seat I purchased for my wife (who was unable to make the flight). I did so, but when I looked in the overhead bin after the flight, it was empty. When we arrived in Denver, I waited at the baggage carousel, watched everyone pick up there bags, until there were only 5 or 6 bags going around. I then went to a counter behind the carousel and asked about my bag. I was only then told that my bag had been there the whole time I was waiting."

Cons: "I wouldn't know since I wasn't on it and I'm still in the airport waiting for my flight. I have to try to get comfortable on the floor right now."

Pros: "The crew members were friendly and efficient."

Pros: "Just noticed survey on my flight from Omaha to Chicago. Sadly I woke up to find that that flight was cancelled and I had to reschedule and flown to Denver instead."
Cons: "The stewardess wasn't the least bit helpful. I did not see any friendliness on her part to anyway. It was like she had to do the job but didn't like being there. So very weird. My original flight to Milwaukee with stop in Chicago was cancelled. This was a flight that took me to Denver and then Milwaukee. Therefore cold for over two hours. Not a good experience with United."

Cons: "The older female attendant was extremely rude . Noted her inability to communicate with an obvious mentally challenge teenager. This attenders needs to retire she appears to be very tired of her job giving United a very poor image."

Cons: "Flight delayed. Stayed at airport for more than 2 hours. Baggage lost."

Cons: "2 hour delay due to a name discrepancy on a passenger. Not fair to keep everyone waiting for one person"

Pros: "Even though we left almost 30 minutes behind schedule on a hour and a half flight, the pilot made up the time in the air and we touched down 2 minutes ahead of our original time. I know a bunch of people had connecting flights and we're very happy."
Cons: "Departure was delayed for unknown reason, first flight of the day and the plane was sitting at the gate 2 hours prior to it's scheduled departure time."
