Here's a were sorry email and a discount on your next flight with us. I have yet to see how much the significant cost for that discount but my expectations of Air Canada are very low.

Cons: That delay was horrendous, I spent 10 hours at an airport. I woke up so god damn early to get there because of news spreading the worries of people waiting at customs immigration to the U.S. it only took us 40min to get through and the flight delay notice was given an hour and a half before departure. We couldn't even sleep on any benches because they were all designed for individuals to sit. It wasn't until our gate location moved to the end of that area was there any carpeted floor space to sleep on. On the flight, economy seating was very tight with limited leg room, and best of all our seats had no window, literally every other row in our section had a window. Air Canada handled this stressful event very poorly, once they figured out bringing a new air craft hours later, and everyone moved to the new gate area, all the attendants had left from their gate post until 40min before the flight which was hours later.

Cons: The ticket I purposed did not allow for carry on / which was not clear on my confirmation when purchasing the ticket

Cons: Delayed flight, my seat was bumped from an aisle to a window seat although I checked in online and secured the Seat 24hrs prior to departure. The excuse I was given by staff is that the person sitting next to me is a “big” person so it’s for my benefit. Well the row I had planned to sit in had two people with an empty seat in between. And they were not “big” as was said. my seat I was moved to had sick children behind my seat whom were coughing and kicking the back of my seat and the row was completely full. An aweful experience and to top it off, the planes entertainment program was broken so we were provided with no entertainment, video or audio.

Pros: Flight was quiet and uneventful. Kudos to the pilots.

Cons: Our flight from YEG to YYZ was delayed by over an hour. Normally this wouldn't bother us, as we did not have a chance to get flight, however, we felt we were deceived and lied to by Air Transat at the gate. Specifically, the staff at the gate indicated that our flight would be delayed "intentionally" according to airline policy, to take advantage of favourable tailwinds to get the flight to YYZ on time. This explanation maked no sense, and was unfounded from a cursory Google search. When we finally boarded an hour later, the captain on the flight indicated that the plane was actually LATE arriving to YEG from a previous flight. I'm not expecting any specific reimbursement for the inconveniences to us or our family picking us up, but we and other customers should NEVER be decieved. If the flight is late, tell us, and indicate whether connecting flights (for those that have them) will be withheld or not or to make appropriate arrangements if otherwise not possible.

Cons: Stroller was not at the gate. We had a connecting flight. Had to go out and check in again to collect the stroller.

Pros: Boarding went smoothly. It was nice that the crew was overheard offering the emergency seating to passengers with very long legs. And to be honest, our flight into Orlando was fantastic. It was just our flight back to Toronto that we had problems with.

Cons: Plane smelled. Seats were way too close together. No leg room at all. Also, I know it wasn't air transat 's fault but there was a toddler behind me kicking my seat for three hours. I am also irritated that we had to bring both our passports and our nexus passes because air transat won't take nexus.

Cons: Taking off on time - pilot got stuck in traffic on the way to airport. This caused us to miss our connecting flight. It is very unprofessional.

Pros: I liked the lounge.

Cons: The boarding process could've been better (no excess of gate changes, overbooking the flight, and kicking people out of their seats). Additionally, the food on board could've been better. My chicken was not chicken and lastly the airline's hard product could've been better, no IFE is a big no-no.

Pros: Nothing. Delta cancelled the flight with no explanation, and ruined our last day in Omaha.

Cons: An explanation as to why the flight was cancelled, as well as help with finding alternative accommodation. We had to fly back very early via Atlanta, and spent the day in transit, which forced us to cancel a reservation in Omaha and erased our ability to enjoy the final day of activities there.

Pros: Surprisingly comfortable for such a short flight. The approach is impressive. Friendly attendants and captain kept everyone updated when there was a slight delay. Was overall a really nice flight

Pros: Gate for flight to Paris from Chicago was changed at least 4 times. At the gate boarding was supposed to start at 10:15. Kept getting delayed until 11pm and then it finally got cancelled. Noone directed us on what to do. It is 20hours later and I still haven't made it 6to my destination.

Cons: My luggage is lost and none of the American Airlines have been able to locate it. I will never fly with American Airlines again.

Cons: We had a 3 hour delay because of a “minor mechanical issue” that was fixed relatively quickly but took over 2 hours to get “paperwork approved”. We were stuck on the plane the entire time.

Cons: Bumped off a direct flight from Toronto to Fort lauderdale with 6 other people. We all booked back in february. They are overbooking 5 to 10 percent now and kicking off the people who paid the least. There is no advantage to booking early only to be bumped. At the gate the AC employee said we would be credited 3 to 4 hundred dollars but we had to run to the customer service desk and then hop on an AC flight to Houston connecting with United Airlines to Fort Lauderdale. At the customer service desk a herd of people waited anxiously to be re booked and compensated. When they started handing out notice that they would send us 200 in the mail there was an uproar that fell on deaf ears. We then ran to get on the houston flight only to find out that flight was overbooked as well. We had to wait to see if they had any no shows. Fortunately I was able to stay on the plane. Upon arriving in Houston we were quickly ran to the United airline gate only to find out that Air Canada had dropped the ball again. We were not booked on the flight. Five of us had no seats booked , while I was booked to depart on a morning flight the next day with no accomodations arranged? Fortunately for us United Airlines picked up the ball and some how got us on the plane to Fort Lauderdale. Upon arriving around 1140pm! should have arrived at 5:20pm direct! we quickly ran to the AC terminal to get our luggage that was originally checked on the first flight. We were told that it would be there. AC employees with no concern at all told us it's not here and it would have been on the united flight that we just arrived on. After I explained that we werent even scheduled to be on the United flight by air canada, so there's no way it made it onto the plane. They looked at us like we were idiots, closed thier office doors and walked away. We ran back to the other terminal( shuttle buses stop at 11pm in Fort Lauderdale?) only to find no luggage again. Fortunately United picks up the ball again and traces our luggage back to Toronto, AC pulled it and left it sitting there. Because of Air Canada's inept employees I missed my rental car reservation and had to buy new clothes for the wedding the next day. They said they'd have the luggage to me by 11 am , it arrived at 11:30 pm the next day. Save yourself the hassel, fly any other airline other then the iconic continually bailed out by the federal goverment airline. If you know, no matter how bad your company and service is ,you will always be bailed out would you work hard? Probably not, hence the atrocious attitude and poor performance of this dead horse airline.

Pros: Great price! For the price, we didn't expect much, just travel and get there safe - NO FRILLS. We paid a little extra for legroom and are happy this was not an inflated price. Paying in advance for our bag and getting a small discount was also appreciated. "Get what you pay for" without feeling "nickled and dimed" is what we consider economical and fare treatment.

Cons: Again "you get what you pay for" is considered. However if I was to be critical, the choice of movies was a little stressful and one sided. (Star Wars and The Avengers). I brought my own entertainment but I felt bad for the Older generation who may have preferred something a little more relaxing and less CGI explosions. Also the interior decor and hardware of the plane was seriously aged and worn, which could use for an upgrade soon.

Cons: Literally everything. I spent 30 hours sitting in the Philadelphia airport and then had to buy a flight with SouthWest so that I could get home. Too bad my luggage is headed for Toledo.
