We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

I observed partly cloudy skies from my window seat as well. The ground crew in Alcapulco was unprepared for AM2683 and the fueling was delayed. After doing so, AM 2683 landed AFTER my connecting flight AM 684 was scheduled to depart at 1:05 AM on June 30. A female connection agent met me at the baggage claim and informed me that that AM 684 had not been held and had departed. The female agent was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. In fact, she had taken a personal cell phone call at the connections desk prior to assisting passengers of AM 2683 which lasted many minutes. She escorted us to the Aeromexico counter where I waited 30 or more minutes to speak to a representative. The representative at the Aeromexico counter informed me that there were NO flights to Quito until 1:05 AM on July 1. I asked if she could book me on another airline and she informed me that because the delay was weather related Aeromexico had no obligation to accomodate me. She booked me on AM684 for July 1. I asked where I was to wait for the next 24 hours and she said Aeromexico had no obligation to pay for lodgings. She gave me food vouchers for the airport. I immediately logged onto Travelocity.com and found a Copa Airlines flight to Quito leaving that afternoon which was in fact OPERATED BY AEROMEXICO! I booked that ticket myself and waited in the Mexico City Airport for 14 hours. What would have taken 10 hours took me 22."

We called the "Customer Service" number and the lady could not help us at all in ANY way except for offering to sell us another ticket.... needless to say, worst customer service experience. When we arrived, our bags (which were carry-ons that were taken from us at the gate) didn't make it with us on the flight, so we had to wait another 2 hours at the airport for our bags. Needless to say, worst travel experience ever."

Resulted a delay of offloading by roughly 20 minutes. Was ultimately found in the second wave of luggage, and witnessed baggage handlers tossing luggage carelessly onto cart floor. Nothing was damaged but was annoyed at lack of communication and overall disorganization."

I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

Cons: "They ran out of sandwiches that we had to pay for. We didn't have to do that on the Aer Lingus flight, which was for the same amount of time. In the other flight we had choice in entetainment."
Pros: "The only thing I liked was how polite and helpful the staff was at the airport."
Cons: "The flight attendants both seemed unhappy and we're not very polite. They hardly came through the cabin at all. It took a while to get anything. They mostly just stayed in the back talking to each other. The pilot didn't greet us. Just stood there when we walked in. And there was a kid screaming for most of the trip. My seat was broken and wouldn't recline. This was my first trip flying, and on the trip to Miami I flew with Delta. The service with them was tremendously better. I was really disappointed."
Pros: "I really like the crew on this flight, they were very polite and very friendly."
Cons: "Boarding again same comment as above. Comfort was good because I had paid for an upgrade which I actually thought I was paying for the international flight but found out it was actually for the Charlotte flight which was a surprise it was not very clear from the tool. So hence the Comfort was great on this flight. But the tool needs to make it much more clear as to what you are selecting the upgrade for. Food, there has got to be something else out there other than pretzels, I understand why we do not have peanuts, but a little bit more variety would be very nice. I understand there's a cost tractor, but often pretzels tend to be fairly stale. Short flights entertainment."

Cons: "It seems you could have given me some extra miles or a free flight for all rhe hassles ov missing flights both going to Toronto and the return trip as well as missing my luggage for two days on the return!!!!!"

Pros: "Once boarded, the crew was pleasant and very helpful. It was a smooth flight."
Cons: "Air Canada check-in at YOW was overwhelmed. There were not enough agents to handle the amount of passengers or flights they had going out. I waited 50 minutes in a check-in line and almost missed my flight. Passengers in front and behind me had the same experience. Air Canada really needs to examine their operations at YOW and manage the situation better."

Cons: "Service personnel at Air Canada were very helpful and re-booked me several times and when none of those flights left, they said they would refer me to refund department."
Pros: "Boarding was excellent, most of the staff except one was excellent. The flight was smooth. Got hooked on a new series that I started watching on the plane."
Cons: "The wait time between flights on the way home was brutal but you expect that if you are flying on points. What made it worse was that I had to leave the secure area and collect my bags then wait 8 hours in the airport only to go through security again. On top of that trying to get my baggage tag there was a female agent that should have retired 100 years ago directing people like it was our fault she still had to work. If you can't be nice you should not be in customer service."
Cons: "For some reason we were forced to check our luggage (standard curry-ons) however it would completely fit to ovehead bins. Also waiting area were completely cut-off from Duty-Free shops - as soon as you passed security - no access to shopping area."
Pros: "Pilot apologized that the entertainment system was down. Then suggested we turn back 10 years and do it the old way by reading a book or magazine to pass the time."

Pros: "Staff were incredibly kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I need wheelchair assistance and they handled that beautifully, asking thoughtful questions about my needs and adapting their plans to my answers. They also helped me with stowing my carry-on since I would have struggled alone."
Cons: "Unfortunately, through no fault of the flight crew or gate crew, we got one of the few remaining planes in the fleet that are so old that they can't fit a full carry-on bag in the overhead bins or under the seats. Larger carry-on items had to be checked through to final destination, which made a lot of passengers upset -- either because they were business people who needed to be able to work on the flight, or they had important baby gear in there that they would need before that, or they were traveling far away using multiple airlines and were rightly worried about lost luggage."

Cons: "One of the female flight attendants was quite mean and just had a poor attitude. Glares, muttering under her breath at passengers etc. Overhead storage is just a nightmare! Always filled to the brim. I've heard flight attendants bashing passengers about it openly. Maybe if you didn't charge $25 per bag per leg people wouldn't do this. Something reasonable like 5-10$ would help this problem HUGE."

Pros: "Good on flight entertainment. On this flight we had a good crew and good staff. However it has been mixed in the past with air canada"

Pros: "The plane was very new. Had a great entertainment system. Power plug ins. USB plug ins. Seats were a bit small, but when are they not?"
Cons: "They forgot to bring me dinner then when I finally got someone's attention they told me they had given away ALL the dinners. How is that even possible? In the end they gave me a first class meal so not bad."
Pros: "Staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in was quick and painless, despite the mobile boarding pass not working properly."
Cons: "Did not ear food or use the in-flight entertainment. Seats are TINY! As a person with very broad shoulders, I found myself literally wedged into a corner as to not bump the person next to me. These planes should not be 3 seater when they are designed for two."
Pros: "Staff was at least friendly"
Cons: "For a 5+ hour flight only beverages were offered - anything else (such as a snack or small meal) had to be purchased. Very cheap service IMO. The selection of entertainment (movies/tv shows) was exceptionally limited and out of date. Their way of boarding the plane (via zone) is very backwards as families with children weren't asked to board until half way through the plane loading (unless those families had already paid for the more expensive zone upgrades). Most airlines let them load first to give them extra time. My checked bag was 1.2kg over the limit so I had to open the bag and switch 1.2kg of clothing into my carry on in front of the rest of those checking in. What an embarrassment and such foolery. All in all Westjet does a better job for trips across Canada. Will not be trying Air Canada again."
Cons: "Staff was rude, Flight attendant was not. Very bad terminal-small, packed, no seating, no help. I was using w/c help but was passed from one person to another, was left at gate with no help to get to another gate or anything. I had suitcase, bag AND a w/c to manage by myself. Difficult to get to bathroom let alone try to get anything to eat or drink( so I didn't). Delays x3. Staff didn't know what was going on. (Other flights also) couldn't hear announcements."

Cons: "Air Canada as well as WestJet charge exuberant amounts for local flights. They offer services and leg room of a budget airline while charging prices at the top range of a regular airline. Lack of proper competition in Canada allows Air Canada and WestJet to charge whatever they want since there are no other real options"

Cons: "Psychotic and delusional crew that take bad customer service to a whole new level!"
Cons: "IFE and food were awful. Space was cramped, lights left on for a night flight. AirCanada headphone rules are just dumb."
Cons: "almost all planes were delayed...this one was delayed by 2.5 hours. After being up for 20+ hours traveling from abroad, it was a bad experience to have to wait so long for planes to arrive for last leg of journey"

Pros: "Once the plane finally took off, the flight was fine. The plane is a commuter jet, and so the seats aren't very comfortable. But the flight is only a little over an hour; so the comfort level is okay."
Cons: "At first the plane was listed as delayed for 30 minutes. Then it changed to an hour, then two hours, then four hours, and finally five hours. The delay was weather related, and Air Canada can't control the weather; but I wish they would have been honest about the length of the delay instead of stringing us along with anticipated departure times for five hours."
