C$ 420 Find Cheap Flights from Paris to Alberta – Compare and Save

Bumped from my connected flight, we arrived earlier than scheduled and I was bumped 4.5 hours later. There was no reason, they said my time I wouldn’t have connected in time. I had 41 minutes. None of Westjet customer service in airport could figure out why me and my 5 year old were bumped from flight we booked. We had 10 minutes to get to next gate after we got off the plane, one lady mentioned that’s not enough time to get to next gate. I was there in 3 minutes. Was originally suppose to fly out at 6:50 pm And was re scheduled to 11:45pm.

Terrible. I was charged $75 for a checked bag when I only had a carry on. The lady at the desk said she couldn’t refund me the money and that I had to call westjet. I called the next day and they said they couldn’t refund me because there is no way to prove I didn’t have a checked bag.

WestJet employees were not properly informed about where my luggage was going causing extreme confusion and almost made me miss my flight

It would have been nice to know there was no on flight entertainment

Good flight. We were all boarded in good time for departure time but baggage loading had barely begun. So left late. No food just snacks and basic drinks for free (food also for purchase). No entertainment as again, unable to connect with wifi on WestJet despite being a rewards member.

It was generally pretty good, but the check-in and boarding process were a little difficult. Check in was in terminal 2F, but there was a shuttle required to get to the gate, which added significant time. The gate was changed 30 minutes before boarding, which took us by surprise - we did not get the notice until boarding had started. The check in line moved very slowly - the agent was friendly, but did not seem very efficient/urgent given the growing line.

Nice to have free food and reasonable beverages. My seat screen was out. Crew tried to reset it but no good. Would fly WestJet again

Awful food and had to ride a bus to board in Paris, delay

4 hour delay leaving Paris. Didn’t get to board through jetway. All of the passengers had to take busses from the terminal to the aircraft. Once we got to Calgary, we had a very long layover that was shortened significantly by the big delay leaving Paris ( when I originally booked the flights, the layover in Calgary was 3 hours, a month before the trip, WestJet changed the second flight which increased the layover to 8 hours!). The flight from Calgary to Nanaimo (ya, the one that they already bumped back by 5 hours) left over an hour late. So, instead of arriving home in Nanaimo at 2 pm, we arrived at 1am. It totally sucked.

Adequate though food was not great and no alcohol abailable
